We always try to come to a Rib City when we are on the west coast of FL. Tonight was very disappointing. We waited almost 30 minutes, it was hot in the restaurant and the waitress was nice, but visibly sweating. After about 45 minutes, our food arrived, most of it was cold. My daughter asked for ranch, and my husband asked for his fries well done...not difficult requests, but neither happened until we asked twice for the fries. She never got her ranch, and the ribs were cold and too fatty to eat. Yes, there are a lot of dining options in Naples, however, we always seem to end up here, as you can't go wrong with the food and prices. Great casual BBQ joint. The baby back ribs are delicious (only $14.99 for a full rack with two sides on Sundays) and the BBQ sauces are some of the best I've ever had (especially the sweet BBQ sauce the tangy BBQ sauce). The onion rings were good, especially when dipped in the BBQ sauces. The baked beans, Texas toast and corn on the cob that accompanied the ribs were all delicious. We also got the pork skyscraper sandwich, which was amazing (although I would suggest adding BBQ sauce to it). We had gotten food to go from here prior to actually dining in the restaurant and I would highly suggest axing the to go route and going in the restaurant to eat (fresher is always better, especially when it comes to BBQ). read more

Rib City, I actually was not aware that this was a chain or franchise till after I visited it for the first time. I had the 1/4 chicken and 1/2 rack of ribs meal. I must say it wasn't very good. My chicken was not even warm I'd say it was almost cold and it didn't have much taste to it. As for the ribs, It did not seem like a half rack it seemed much smaller then what i expected. They where however tender and tasty. My coleslaw was some of the worst I've ever had and my fries where average. My Texas toast was sub par. My friend did not enjoy his plate either, to say the least. The place was also fairly dirty. I will never be returning. 2 stars for good ribs and fast service. read more

Very laid back atmosphere with great food! Had a filling dinner here last night, five of us ate for $45, not bad. Large portions. Service is excellent. Hubby loved the pulled pork sandwich! What a waste of money. We ordered pulled pork platter and grilled chicken. Everything was cold, even the fries. The pork was old and it reminded me of some fast food nasty pork that drips with grease. The " vine ripened tomato" were not ripe at all. The were almost all green. Food and service is always good. I love going here for lunch. Servers are always nice and food quality is rich. Value is there. Lunch specials give you a lot of food and you will be stuffed. The deal on the night we were there was a full rack plus 1/4 pound of chicken, beef, or pork. My wife wasn't hungry so we did the special and she took the 1/4 pound. She said it was very good. It's rib city, it's been a Naples staple for a while. The service here has always been good, so no complaints there ecspecially when the servers feel like people you've known for a while. For a barbecue place I feel the prices are very good but I'm not too big in BBQ to know if that's an accurate statement. But the food, food was very good and ribs were incredibly tender. I did the pick three platter with a half rack of ribs, pulled pork, and the beef. The pulled pork felt like it had sat for a while but certainly was not bad at all. Their hot BBQ sauce was great! Has a thicker feel to it then their regular sauce so I enjoyed that and the spice was perfect. Overall I would reccomend it and since I'm in Naples park I will be visiting more often than I had before. I won't give it a 5 star because it wasn't head over heels good but it was very good. read more

I tried pulled pork, beef ribs, pork ribs, baked beans, Texas toast, coleslaw, and chicken fingers. All were fantastic. I've had Texas, North Carolina, Owensboro, and Kansas City BBQ. These guys are serious jerks. This review will probably do no good since it is a popular place. But I have never been treated so rudely in my life. I was dining alone and asked for a table. I literally sat in front of the desk waiting and was told 20 minutes. After 30 I got up to ask what was going on and I saw their list and my name had been crossed off and about 8 tables had been seated after my name. They had the nerve to say I must have not heard them call my name. I was sitting right there! They never called it. They did seat me and I did get waited on but this was blatant lying and I must admit I'm pissed about it. First time visitors as we were in the area. The service was really quick. The waiters were really nice and attentive. We ordered a full rack of baby back ribs with coke slaw and baked beans. By all means this was the best place we've had as far as bbq ribs. The meat fell off the bone the baked beans were amazing the Cole slaw was ok compared to other places but still awesome. We also ordered a kids meal including two sides and a coke. My husband is extreme picky and demanding but out of all places he absolutely loved this place. The ambiance was nice very hillbilly like and there was a good smell of hickory wood burning overall I would extremely recommend the place. I found it affordable and worth every penny. So torn! Love the ribs, but portions seem to get tinier and tinier, ends are often burnt to being inedible and ashy. I complained once and they were none too pleased about it. Chicken portions also tiny and greasy, thigh had big blobs of fat under the skin. I also love the taste of the sliced pork, but several pieces last time were so fatty I couldn't eat them, so a waste. Service generally is hit or miss. I arrived 5 minutes late for the lunch special and they wouldn't honor it. The place was almost empty. Come on - you can do better for your customers. Don't waste your time with 50 cent Weds drafts - so watery! Despite all this, ribs are delicious when they get them right. Onion rings a standout too. My family and I have been eating her weekly for 5 years. My kids have always been big fans of the restaurant and we have always had great service and food but I have to say after going there tonight for dinner I was extremely disappointed! The server at the hostess stand didn't even take the time to greet us and left us standing there for over 5 minutes when it wasn't even busy. The poor hostess was on the phone taking orders and had her hands full and the wait staff couldn't even spend a few minutes seating people. Then our server took forever to get our drinks, never bothered to check on us and took forever to get our food out. We used to enjoy having a family night out here because the food was always quick but tonight we waited over 1 hour for our entrees. Our server was terrible! Then it took another 30 minutes just to get the check. Not my idea of a great dinner night out. I hope the management team gets it together because this is the worst service I've had.
