Our driver and tour guide was Matt he was absolutely amazing, informative and had a good sense of humor. Matt was very prompt in the morning at the scheduled hotel we were supposed to be picked up at 6:10am. He had a couple of sweets for us early in the morning and plenty of water throughout the whole tour. Doing the Hoku tour was so worth the price, it might seem like 11hrs is a long time but believe me the time really flew by, well at least it did for us. They give you enough time to go through the memorials and the museums with plenty of time, Matt even told us where to go first before the crowd got there first. It came in handy too, we had time to go in the Bowfin by ourselves for the first 10mins without a big crowd lol. After we left that's when everyone started coming, so thanks Matt!! We would definitely book future tours with Hoku when we make a return visit.

Once at the Arizona and Pearl Harbor, Isaiah was helpful with his recommendations and timing of events. The included lunch was great! Fantastic place to have it at Ford Island air museum. Once at the USS Missouri, Isaiah once again gave great advice to take a tour with a docent on board the ship. The return trip from Pearl to the hotels was also educational. Thanks Isaiah for such a great trip! Awesome and will recommend this to anyone wanting to see Pearl Harbor and learn more reasons to Never Forget!

Not just tour packages…read more.. Those days when we used to rely on travel agents to arrange our flights and/or hotels for our trips now has pivoted quite a bit with the growth of internet and having the airlines taking a great command of it all it does make things quite easy yet sometimes we do need help with several items especially when it's in a foreign country. JTB or more known as Japan Travel Bureau is a small office in Ala Moana Center Street Level all the way at the very end near Nordstrom side you'll notice the more prominent Olioli section which is the greeting desk for visitors just go right beside that is where you need to be. I've asked about wifi by calling and was told that reservation was done online and that I'm able to pick it up in store on date that you'd reserve but had a difficult time finding it all online only pick up in Japan which was discouraging for me as I'm going to multiple cities decided on just purchasing the Rail Pass. Rail Pass are very easy and are able to purchase up to 90 before you need to redeem for use I would suggest checking weekly as rates will reflect on yen rates so being patient and lucky would be in your favor as well. Ordering it online was a bit different from the other location that I usually go to but is a convenience if it's a method you'd refer. Once paid you get a email notice and ready for pick up anytime I found out that they do have wifi rental as well that you're able to pick up at the Honolulu Office but the staff here is very nice and fluent in both English and Japanese which was very helpful for both me and mom making it a cool place to get what you need. Thank you!

The sign said it opened at 9 a.m. I couldn't see anyone inside and it was past 9 a.m. I knocked on the door. To my surprise a lady came out from behind a closed area and opened the door. She was polite and informative. She wanted to know when I would like to travel and stated when it's the busiest times and slower times. After our talk she gave me pointers on which areas to visit and asked for my email so she could send me JTB information and special tours. The place was neat, well lit and provided a variety of handout flyers for all different tours, cruises and multiple locations to visit. JTB is located on the street level, Ala Moana Center, past Nijiya Market and before Spectrum store. There is a down elevator on the mall level to take you down to the street level near JTB.

Just took this tour to Hana today. After seeing that crazy drive it was money well spent $209.00…read moreper person. Our driver Jay was outstanding. Very friendly young man and made everyone feel like family. His positive vibe made all the difference. He knows those roads very well and was very polite to everyone. During our trip stops we got a chance to see other company tour guides and boy were we glad we weren't stuck with them on their bus. We got to swim in a waterfall and Black Sand Beach along the tour. Trip included water, breakfast, lunch and entrance fee to Beach stop. Our hotel tried to recommend another company twice the price. Saw that company on the road and was glad we went with this one because of Jay. Keep in mind you get what you put in to the trip. Stay positive and have fun. We made the most of it and it was a great experience. Respect the land and wild life. Now if your tour gets a chance to also go back roads keep in mind the ride is bumpy due to some underdeveloped roads and floods. The back two rows of van seats absorbed the worst part which was approximately 40 minutes of bumps. We were sitting there and Jay warned us before. We understood considering the older passengers were in the front seats. The van was clean, high ceiling so you can stand to get in and out and the AC was working great. So was the horn lol that they must use to worn opposite traffic ahead of time due to some slow hairpin turns. A-lot of tourists that have no idea how to drive those tricky roads. Some were stranded with flat tires. Also keep in mind their in NO Cell service once you get up in the mountain for a few hours. Luckily Jay warned us about this prior to arriving there. He also had a decent play list. Save the headache and book the trip your marriage will thank you for it. That road can be stressful in your rent a car! Aloha

The worst customer service ever in my entire life. The owner or the manager, Jay, was extremely…read morerude and unprofessional. Here is what happened. I booked the $220 Road to Hana tour through Viator. When I booked, I chose the pick-up point nearest to my place. There were two time choices, 7 AM or 8:30 AM, and I chose 7 AM. The next day, Jay called me and said I should talk to Viator and cancel it because their bus is not going to my pickup point. (Then why have they not updated in Viator?? This is entirely on their part). But I didn't mind because I really wanted to go on that trip, so I said I would come to their place, but I needed to change the time to 8:30 AM. He said it was fine. Then, he said, "Only lunch provided," and I asked, "Sorry, why was breakfast not provided?" I was genuinely curious because he had not given me any reason. And then he said, "Anyone who is going at 8:30 is not getting breakfast," and okay, not ideal, but I didn't say anything back, I was fine. And then suddenly, the guy canceled my trip and told me to "book another tour company." I was confused about what just happened, so I called him, and as soon as I said hello, he was literally yelling at me and said, "I tried to include you on the tour, but you are picking on small things. You are the type of customer who would come on a tour and demand a refund. I don't want to discuss this anymore. Don't call me back," and he just hung up. I didn't get a chance to say a word during the phone call. I do not understand why this tour company still exists, with such extremely rude and poor treatment of customers. Please spend your precious money on tour services that actually care about customers. A very shocking and speechless experience of my lifetime.
