Had a wonderful Valentines Day dinner at Stage. Exceptional ambiance that changes. Courteous service and exquisite dishes. I experienced the Valentines Day set which consisted of 5 courses. I dont drink so I did not pair the coures with alcohol. I savored each bite. There is ample parking for the building. Always fun to browse the furniture store as well.

What a fun cool yummy experience! The food was amazing, every bit was perfect! The ambiance was so artistic and unique. Loved all the different seating areas! Service was five s!! The duck special was probably my favorite . The wine bar area was also fun, you can buy a wine card and be able to pour 1oz to a full glass, I love trying new wines so having a 1oz of several was so much fun! But truly I cannot even explain just how good the food was, small menu but you really can't go wrong with what you eat! We ate so much this was one of the first times we couldn't even get dessert. That's how good our meal was!!!

Not my first time here--I've actually been to Stage a few times, including once on a quick work break just to enjoy the wine bar (haha). This time was special though--we came to celebrate my best friend's birthday! We were seated in a cute little area with a lovely view... of cars . It was my best friend's first visit, and since she's a big wine girl, I figured Stage was the perfect spot to take her. We started with a few appetizers and ended up sharing the Beef Wellington for our main dish. As always, everything was delicious. The service was just as amazing--Chieko (hope I spelled that right!) was an excellent server. She checked in with us just the right amount and really made the experience that much more enjoyable. I love coming here for the chill, low-key vibe, the beautiful interior, and of course--the wine selection! Can't wait to come back again.

The food and service is great. High quality ingredients and our server was very attentive and informative. Great decor and low lighting. A good setting to socialize with an intimate group or just a date. I loved the escargot, scallops and the elderberry panna cotta. Everything else was great but those were memorable. I highly recommend and will come back for the set menu.

This is a nice restaurant that I haven't been in a long time! Very airy and spacious trendy restaurant. I came with a friend for a retirement seminar! I had the Grilled New York steak medium rare just how I like it! Served with a mushroom demi glaze, Yukon potato puree and asparagus. We also had an Island Green Organic salad with greens, cucumber, radish, grape tomatoes, croutons in a creamy miso vinaigrette. Lastly, there was New York cheesecake mixed berry coulis. Vanilla bean with whipped cream and oatmeal crumble. Service was very attentive!

We normally eat and drink in the bar when we come here, but we decided to try the restaurant and I'm so glad that we did. This restaurant has the coolest decor ever. It's such a fun vibe with all of the unique designs. Plus, everything that we tried on the menu was delicious and my champagne flight had extremely generous pours. The service was exceptional and this is my new favorite restaurant for sure. I can't wait to go back. A nice plus is that there's plenty of free, safe parking in the garage below.

3 of us enjoyed the happy hour during 4-6pm. Only 5 items on the menu. Except pizza, is so so, the other 4 are really delicious. The restaurant is quiet and well decorated. As we only order foods in happy hours menu, so we only can sit outside. For order dinner menu, you can move to inside seats. If come late after store closed hours, you can park your car in parking lot of furniture store then take lift to 2nd floor. Otherwise you are not able to find the door of the restaurant. :)

We recently had dinner here over the holidays to celebrate my daughter being home. I've heard a lot about Stage restaurant. It is located in the Honolulu design center, and you're able to park in the building for free. We made reservations for dinner on a Friday night, and it surprisingly was not crowded. The restaurant is very spacious, and has artistic feel. I started off with a beet salad, and then we all ordered entrées, including butterfish, mahi-mahi over risotto, and the salmon special. Portions are on the smaller side, but all the fish entrées, we're all cooked perfectly, not overcooked or dry. We finished off the night with a sorbetto dessert along with the chocolate macadamia nut dessert bar. All the food was beautifully presented, and aesthetically pleasing. Our waitress was Crystal, who provided us with excellent service throughout the meal. Would love to come back to try some of their other dinner entrées.

I really don't want to give it a bad review but I was just genuinely disappointed by my experience here. I arrived with my partner at the restaurant for our anniversary dinner. The lighting is dark but is nicely complimented by the decor and lighting within. The waiter is very nice and patient with us, explaining to us the menu and such. HOWEVER, there was a sweet 16th party going on right in the staging area within the restaurant, although it was "closed off" it was still quite loud, especially whenever the door would be opened or closed. We just happened to be seated near the door, so it was extremely distracting to constantly hear music blasting. To imagine, it sounds like a bathroom at a high school party (with similar hip pop type music). It just really didn't fit the elevated and calm evening I had hoped for. Before I get to the food, I just want to preface that the noise did really ruin my food experience too, so maybe I was a bit more overly critical on some dishes. Food: - Grilled new york steak. 10/10. This was delicious, my partner raved about the sauce that accompanied the steak and I had to scold him to not lick his plate haha. - Grilled Pork chop: 7/10. It was fine to me, my partner liked it but I didn't care much for the pineapple compote that was with the pork chop. Additionally, despite its smaller portion size, there was still two decently large chunks of fat that both my partner and I deemed inedible (although some may enjoy that). It is cooked very well though, tender and juicy. The brussels sprouts were also very flavorful. - Tres leches: 8/10. My friend recommended this heavily to me so I ordered it. I was honestly slightly disappointed being so excited when I ordered it. It's good, but I feel that it isn't as wet as a tres leches should be. I had to explain to my partner that it shouldn't be as cakey as it is and it should be way more wet and moist. - The free brownie dessert was a nice touch for my little sweet tooth. I feel like it had a lot of potential that this experience did not live up to and I would love to give this place another shot in the future.

Brought friends from Japan and they were so pleased!!! I had not been here in YEARS, but I was so thankful that everyone in our party loved their food and the experience. The quality of the food was great and of course the ambience is gorgeous. It's like having dinner in an art museum. We were so happy to meet the Inspiration owner having a party there too. We stayed after to enjoy more wine at Amuse. It was just a wonderful evening!

Service was great -- the servers are always so nice! I love the cozy vibes there. The lighting and decorations are beautiful and make the place feel really welcoming. The food is amazing. I'm a big fan of the mushroom and New York steak -- they're a must every time I go!

Came here for a pau hana after work. Made a reservation and were seated immediately after we arrived. Food came fast and drinks took a little while. Very nice interior with bar seats and tables. Charcuterie board came with a good amount of food. I truly enjoyed the truffle fries! Crispy and delicious! I also had a lemongrass mint mocktail and it was super refreshing! Parking: Free parking. Entrance to the parking lot on Piikoi street.

Love The Stage's new concept of sharing plates. Best to do your research before you go. Luckily my husband had checked out an article in the StarAdvertiser so we had a pretty good idea of which dishes to order. You should definitely solicit advice from your server. Some dishes are larger than others. Everything was delicious. Not too many choices of wine by the glass on the menu. A little odd since it's connected to the Amuse Wine Bar but we were able to find a pretty good white wine blend and a Cabernet Sauvignon. Desserts are more generous than some of the main dishes so we overdid the ordering but (one for each of us plus a complimentary anniversary dessert) was a bit much but everything was delicious! The decor is great for a date night, nice conversation with friends and they have a large table for a small group. Very nice atmosphere!

Where is the drop off point for rideshare drivers to drop off customers that want to go to stage (the address pin is the entrance to the parking garage off piikoi but that's not helpful unless you are a customer wanting to park)?

Does this place have any vegetarian options for entrees?

Is the pre fixed menu price per person?

Yes. But if you have two people , ask your server if you can order one pre-fixe and one entrée and share the appetizers.

I see a lot of reviews about the two-person seating facing the street. But how is the rest of the table seating? The photos make it seem as though you share a large dining table with other parties?

There some large tables that can easily fit 6 people, the one we dined in was that size. I'm sure they are also able to accommodate larger parties by putting two tables together.

Does Stage still do afternoon tea? I can't find their menu online but I went years ago and had a good time!

What is the dress code? I'm going there for happy hour and wondering what the proper attire would be? Would shorts be ok if I wear them with a button down? Thanks!

I don't think they have a dress code. The last time I went, I had shorts and slippers. But, casual attire would be fine.

Located in Waikiki along Lewers Street near Kuhio Ave. It's on the first floor sharing the same building with Oyster Hale and Genius Lounge. They don't have any affiliation with any parking garages, you're on your own. The inside is surprisingly big and spacious with bar and outdoor seatings, and high ceilings in the main dining room. The main theme is Spanish Tapas with mostly small or bite size dishes with a few paella and main entrees. Everything sounded good! "Pinchos" dishes is really just one bite. The Smoked Salmon was nothing special. It ate like a normal salmon with cream cheese. The other flavors such as dill, pink peppercorn, and orange did not come out. The Buñuelos Butterfish Fritter were good. Light, airy, doughy! nicely fried and seasoned. Didn't really taste much butterfish. The Tapas were a generous amount! The Shrimp Ajillo was flavorful with paprika and garlic. Shrimp was cooked well. The spice didn't come out from the dried chili peppers. The best was the Housemade Baguette! Warm, soft inside, crunchy outside. Better than at Vietnamese restaurants! Unfortunately, the dish and sauce was too salty--even for a person who likes more taste. The Octopus Ala Gallega was very good. Nicely grilled octopus to tender with a nice charred taste. Just needed some salt. Potatoes were good. Chimichurri sauce was flavorful. Generous amount of olive oil. The Uni & Crab Pasta was all right. I've had better. The spaghetti was a touch too Al dente. The flavor was very one note with the rich cream sauce and uni. There wasn't the sweetness from the crab. The cherry tomato was just there to be there for a bite. Would have been nice to get some acidity and sweetness throughout the dish. The Seafood Paella was very basic. Very disappointed with zero char on the rice. What's the point of the pan? It definitely needed higher heat. Everything ate like it was covered and simmered on low heat until the seafood was cooked. Very simple. The Ube Basque Cheesecake was good. Not too sweet, not too much Ube flavor with a light custard-like interior. Overall, this was a decent meal. All the dishes were beautifully presented, but needed some seasoning adjustments. Don't think I'll order the same dishes next time. The service was excellent. Very friendly, information, and attentive server. Comfortable dining area. Unfortunate it has no parking affiliation. I'll definitely comeback for their Housemade Baguette!

The Gouda added this rich, slightly smoky creaminess that made it feel a little more elevated than your standard burger. Every bite was messy in the best way, and the bun held up like a champ. The fries were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and impossible to stop eating. You know they're good when you keep reaching for "just one more" and suddenly they're gone. We also got the fried calamari and it was perfectly golden and tender, not rubbery at all. Light, crispy coating and super snackable -- especially dipped in the sauce. But the sleeper hit? The smoked ahi with lavosh. So flavorful and fresh, with that smoky richness balanced by the crisp lavosh. It felt light but still packed with taste -- a perfect contrast to the heavier fried stuff. Honestly, everything hit. Great mix of indulgent and fresh, and I'd order this exact combo again without hesitation.

The space is relaxed and inviting, with a calm, tucked-away feel that makes you forget you're inside a hotel. The happy hour menu is impressively priced, with starters beginning at just $6, yet everything feels thoughtfully prepared and elevated. Highlights included the toasted bread with sun-dried tomato pistou -- warm, crisp toast paired with a deeply savory, herbaceous spread that's simple but incredibly satisfying. The mini poke bowl was fresh and well-balanced, showcasing clean flavors and quality fish without being overly heavy. The fish tacos delivered exactly what you want: crispy island fish, bright flavors, and a great balance of texture. We also tried the fish and chips, featuring lightly fried island fish, hot fries, and a creamy house remoulade that tied the dish together beautifully. The standout for us was the empanadas -- flaky, crisp pastry filled with tender braised beef and potato, finished with a bold aji rojo sauce that added just the right amount of depth and gentle heat. Service was friendly and attentive without feeling rushed, and the overall vibe made it easy to relax and enjoy the experience. Whether you're looking for a low-key happy hour, a casual date spot, or a place to unwind after work, this is a hidden gem worth seeking out.
