    Roasted Chicken Gizzard with Garlic
    Mona W.

First time coming here even though I've heard about it before! Came here with the fiancé and was both our first time. We had a little date night hehe and my goodness the food was so good!!! We ordered 3 items, rose tteokbokki, gizzard with garlic, and the jokbal (pig trotters). It was all so delicious!!! There so much more items I want to try on the menu. There was one girl that waited on us and she was nice. I believe 2 people cooking. There's 2 small karaoke room that can fit about 6 people and the inside has about 3-4 tables. When we first got there, there weren't any rooms opened. After we finished eating our dinner one of the room opened and the girl was nice to let us use the room to sing a few songs!! Hehe we will definitely be back to try more items on the menu!!!

Good good & good service. The place itself is pretty small so I would recommend going earlier in the night if it's the weekend or callinf to see if you can make a reservation. We tried the rose tteokbokki, chicken gizzards, fried chicken, & lunch box (dosirak). All were good. Definitely will be coming back here again in the future!

Café Princess Pig has the best kimchi pancake on the island. Our server said she is from South Korea so I assume the food is authentic. The café is quite small and parking is limited but other than this we enjoyed ourselves at Pig.

An absolute favorite restaurant of my friend and mine! We have been going here almost weekly for the past couple months and order the same things. The rose tteokbokki is THE BEST! The sauce is creamy, the right amount of spice, with sausages, rice cakes, bacon, and wide glass noodles. We also like pairing this with the steamed mandoo and/or kimchi pancake. We've tried the chicken wings but didn't really like it - skin clinged to chicken and was difficult to eat. Service is great but takes around 40 minutes to receive our food, but we don't mind waiting. The vibe in here is lively with kpop/k-hip hop music videos playing loudly. There are also karaoke rooms that aren't very sound proof when sitting in the dinning area. Plenty of parking is available. Best way to find this gem is going down S King Street and turning left into the building lot called "Title Guaranty Escrow" or look for number 1350.

Located in an alley with parking outside. Private karaoke room available and great service! We had just came from dinner so ordered drinks and a huge pot of chicken feet stew. Perfect flavor of spice!! Will definitely be back to try other items.

Went here for karaoke, will return of the food! I like that they have a small lot right in front of the location. It's such an inconspicuous looking place I wouldn't have noticed it was there if you didn't tell me about it! They have 2 rooms for karaoke and it's $2 a song. There is a decent amount of song selection as well. The junk thing is that the karaoke machine is owned by a separate entity to if you accidentally input a song twice it's too bad for you =( the rooms also have a $100 minimum food/drink order which we easily surpassed lol. The food was really good, all the dishes we tried tasted good! The eggs have some veggies chopped up in them and ketchup on top. Tried the Korean pancakes which were nice and crispy. Really enjoyed the corn with all the cheese There are a few tables outside as well. Would come back for more food! We looked at some of the soup dishes but might have been hard to share especially when singing, and they looked huge sharing size.

Karaoke and Korean cuisine in Honolulu, Hawaii... We wanted to try something new, so, we visited Cafe Princess Pig! Location: First Interstate Bank building - more towards Young Street corner of the building Parking: There were about nine free "Visitor" stalls. Some people parked on the street Environment: Our private room had a $100 minimum for food and drinks. Songs were $2 and quite limited to older songs. (The remote control had some Korean words, but we were able to scroll through the English song list and eventually used the book to find song titles more efficiently.) Outside in the lounge area, there was no karaoke - just a big screen television. Tables and chairs were separated into groups of four by barriers and could not be moved. Food: I didn't eat anything. My friends got mandoo, seafood pancake, pork cutlet, corn cheese, and seafood pancake. Everything looked good! Beverages: My friends ordered peach Soju and a red vinegar Soju. I just had a Coke... Haha! Service: We had a slight language barrier, but were able to figure it out. It was an interesting, fun, educational experience! Thanks to all for a wonderful time!

Karaoke shenanigans... Now who doesn't need a break from adulting from time to time and I'm down for some food, fun and frolicking with karaoke. This place certainly was the first for us and no we didn't reserve anything which is recommended if you are selective with room choice. They do have to similar room sizes but there's just two for karaoke. Equipment is an outside source so they can't help you if you have wrong song choices, the massive remote is mostly in Korean we did manage to figure it out...I got the smartest group I must say! We are smart indeed and hungry gosh loved the varieties of... - Fat Omelette (rolled egg with onions and topped with ketchup) - Seafood Pancake had squid I believe didn't have it due to allergies - Kimchee Pancake - Pork Cutlet (sauce topped tasted like a mix of curry and tonkatsu) - Edamame (coasted with way too much salt!) - Corn Cheese (check out my pic for that cheese pull!) - Mandoo "both fried and steamed" (my preference is steamed) Drinks I did pass this night as it didn't really wow me but friends ordered Peach Soju then later got Red Vinegar. Cafe Princess Pig located in Interstate Building though the cafe is on Young Street you're able enter either way on South King as well, parking is decent with a few visitor stalls my friend Nadine C pointed out thankfully or I thought I was gonna search for street parking which is a needle in a haystack luck of the draw. There is a minimum of $100 tab for use of this private room and with a reservation or a minimum time limit which I'm not sure of the reason we had three hours use as the we had some language barrier with the staff but we still had a fun! This super tiny place had the cutest and certainly Instagrammable decor with a "hello" neon sign right at the door, Groot and the art they made with Soju caps along side of some Princess Pig...super cute but the best group of friends made it a night to remember! Thank you!

Great food, great service, and great parking in town! Cafe Princess Pig is known for karaoke ($2 for a song) but also for their excellent menu. People actually come here just to eat a lot of the times! I've tried most of their food on their menu and not a single dish disappointed me. I would say their price is pretty reasonable compared to other Korean bars and they also have great FREE parking right in front. They also provide excellent service. I 100% recommend this place for a dinner or a night out.

The ambiance in this place is amazing, the food is amazing, and the servers are amazing. My favorite hole in the wall 10/10. I wish I found this place sooner! One thing I wish they had was delivery... I crave the rose tteokbokki so much all the time Cafe Princess Pig please change that!!!! I would love to get delivery every night if I could.

My friends and I were hungry after a late night event. We yelped around and found this place. It stays open really late which is pretty nice for those late nighters. Inside was pretty small with a few tables and 2 karaoke room. Very interesting and cute decor. Parking in the lot but gets full during peak hours. We parked on the street. We ordered a few stuff to share. - Army stew is a must. A spicy soup base with hot dog sausages, tofu, cheese, ramen, and beans boiled in a thin pan. The portion is good enough for two people. - Jokbal is pig trotter that's braised and cooked with soy sauce I believe. Meat was very soft and and fatty. Very tasty. - seasoned tripe was sliced very thin and seasoned well. - Apple mango soju - not really a drinker, but I did take a sip. Flavor on the sweeter side. My friends liked it. Perfect with the food. Although the food seemed simple, it tasted really good. It is a bit expensive for the food and drinks. Next time you need a late night outing, this is the spot.

Cafe Princess Pig is a small place with about 4 or 5 tables and 2 karaoke rooms. It's nothing fancy, but it's definitely all you need to enjoy a few drinks and yummy Korean food. We got their at exactly 6pm (our reservation time) so we could chose our table. There were a lot of items on the menu that looked good and some were different then what I've seen at other places. We ordered the army stew (my favorite, even though I couldn't eat the noodles) and the mandoo. And we got the lychee bottled soju to share. The army stew was very tasty with green & round onions, tofu, sausage, spam, beans, and noodles. And the mandoo was good too. And it went well with our lychee soju which now might be my new favorite flavor. The workers were nice and were working hard doing all the cooking too. This place doesn't look like much from the outside and can be hard to miss when you're trying to find the place so be sure to keep your eyes open or you may miss it!

A cozy hole in the wall Korean restaurant/bar with tasty food. We were able to make a same day reservation which was fantastic because it is a small restaurant with a 5-6 tables. Started with soju and soju cocktails, and they didn't have as many options as other Korean bars but they did have my fav yogurt soju. As for food we got the buddae jiggae (army stew), seafood pancake, cheese corn, tteokbokki, and lunch box. My fav was the cheese corn and buddae jiggae, which was big enough to share with the four of us. A lowkey place with great vibes that I would definitely visit again!

Unlike the Chinatown location, this place is smaller but very intimate. Since it just opened when I got there I cant tell you what kind of people relax here. I liked it as its quiet and calm. Located in a hotel called The Romer on Nāhua Street in Waikiki off of Kuhio (closer to Ala Wai Canal) it is a smallish unpretentious looking building on Diamond Head side of Nahua. They have valet stand in front and validate parking for up to 3 hours. The valet wasn't very friendly when we walked towards him and usually they hold the door open but this one did not. We realize he's probably not part of Lei Stand staff but it doesn't make a good first impression. Walk into the lobby and directly to your left is the Lei Stand. It is brightly neon but dark if that makes sense, and very small. If you're a fan of when it used to be on Bethel St downtown then you'll be disappointed with this venue. No view to be had, dark drapes cover the windows (we were there at 6:00 pm) and no cute little lanai or garden. Tiny tables either high tops or rounds - maybe 10 total and a small bar. There was one tiny corner booth. The lost star was for this set up but also another lost star for NO MUSIC. Music is such an important part of a place especially a bar so we were disappointed and appalled there was only silence. Bartender said the music was "broken" so we turned on our phones to get something on our table. Then two girls brought in something to light the place up with some tunes so that helped. The final lost star was it is called The Lei Stand yet there wasn't a lei stand inside the place. When we asked the bartender where it was he didn't even know what a lei was. Then we explained to him and he said it is in the hotel lobby but you have to go to front desk to let them know you wish to purchase one. Another disappointment. Thank goodness I bought her a lei from downtown in case they didn't have any. The good stars ... Star 1 goes to the drink menu and how delicious they tasted. "Rub up on my belly" was beautifully prepared and so delicious I had to have another one lol I mean how could I refuse a second guava jam infused Tito's vodka??? Bartender prepared with cute little garnish and an ice stick to keep it cold! He was very nice and took good care of us. My friend opted for the "Clifton's Curse" - yes there's a back story to this drink- and enjoyed the cognac, absinthe, bitters and sherry concoction! Ono! Star 2 goes to the food or "nibbles" as they call it. Taro chips and crack dip were yum and a nice handful of chips not too much and not too little. Hurricane fries - to die for! Plenty of furikake, parmigiano reggiano and spicy aioli. The girls who brought our food were very nice and made sure we had what we needed to enjoy, bringing us waters too. They also had a smash burger for $25 but we had dinner rez later so didn't want to indulge but it looked good. It might be cute if you wanted to do a private party here and I noticed a room across with a beautiful large table set up for a private dinner - not sure if part of hotel or bar.

He has been a fan of Johnny Valentine and said he was playing at the Mai Tai Bar in the Royal Hawaiian. The Bar is located in the back patio area that faces the beach. Arriving at 6:30pm, there was a line to be seated and when we were seated, we were at a nice table facing the beach, but we were on the opposite side where the stage Johnny was performing. Also, we were next to the bar and it was quite noisy. After ordering our drinks, which I got the Royal Sunset Ale, we spotted a table near the stage and asked our waitress if we could move there. She checked and said we could move there. It was a nice center table about 20ft from the stage and we could hear Johnny perform without the bar noise. Johnny is Hawaii's premier entertainer, who is Bruno Mars' uncle, is known for his vocal range and guitar skills.
