This Million Restaurant is the one at Kapiolani and Ward, not the one on Sheridan. The restaurant is spacious and got plenty of parking outside. The food was good especially the meat. You could tell they don't serve cheap meat. I have dined here 3 times in the last 2 years and the quality has been very consistent. Service was also good. The only complaint is food was quite pricey but it is worth it for the quality of the food.

Great Korean restaurant that opens late and provides good service. Food is ono and banchans were yummy. Perfect place to go to for a quick bite with the family

Food is always served fresh. Love the taste and the different types of condiments. The new owners, kristy and Frances are very warm and welcoming. The other workers are friendly as well. Kristy also makes tasty dishes as well. I go there at least twice a week.

Million Korean Restaurant - Delicious Food & Thoughtful Service We had a great experience at Million Korean Restaurant on Kapiolani. The food was flavorful, the meat quality was solid, and the service was especially thoughtful--especially for families with young kids. What We Ordered: - Japchae Noodles - Kimchi Jun - Rice with Vegetables & Beef in a Hot Stone Bowl - Million Set S1 - includes beef outside skirt, wagyu brisket, beef tongue, and shrimp (all raw, cooked at the table grill) Everything was very good. The meat from the Million Set was fresh and grilled up beautifully at our table. The hot stone bowl was a standout--the rice crisps up nicely if you let it sit, and you can even request the bowl extra hot if you love that crispy texture. Kid-Friendly Touches: They were incredibly accommodating to our 3-year-old daughter. They had a high chair ready, and even brought out a seaweed tofu soup special just for her, along with her own bowl, spoon, and fork. She loved it! It made the whole dining experience so much easier and more enjoyable. Extras: White rice came included with our dishes, which was a nice touch. Final Thoughts: We'll definitely be coming back. The food was delicious, and the staff went out of their way to make our daughter feel welcome. That kind of care makes a big difference when dining out as a family.

Met some family friends here for lunch on a Sunday. They had a Lunch Special Menu. Our waitress was friendly. There was lots of tables available. The place was clean and quiet. I had the Meat Jun and Kalbi Special. You can also cook your own food. I think I would try that next time or recommend that.

Parking: there's a front and back parking lot. The back lot is tandem parking. Limited amount of stalls. Service: The restaurant was fairly empty when we arrived and was seating quickly. Our food came out quickly. Mid way through our lunch the restaurant got crowded and we had to wait a long time for the check. Food: The food was delicious! I've been here several times and it never disappoints. The tofu soup was order as a "regular" spicy level and wasn't too spicy. You can order it spicy if you want to. The restaurant is clean, can get smoky if you are cooking on the grill.

I've been seeing posts for their lunch specials so wanted to try it out since it's close to home. The multigrain lunch sets are about $30 but it's a complete meal with entree, soup and the multigrain rice pot so it makes sense. I got the Spicy Pork with Soft Tofu. Spicy Pork and Multigrain rice was good! The spicy pork was cooked perfectly and surprisingly not as oily. Rice was good and was easy scape off with the tea afterwards. The soft tofu was good, but it was really spicy. Like I can handle the spice, but the spice was overpowering for me to actually enjoy it but if you're into that then this soup is for you. I was a little disappointed with the banchan options but I noticed form other photos that it varies on the day - I'd still eat it regardless though. Note on the top of the menu said limit set to one person, but I think if you're not heavy eaters, it would be enough to share plus an extra side. I was only able to eat half. But if you have a big appetite, I would get your own. Service was fast and nice - def recommend and would come back.

My Fiance and I ate here the other day after always just getting take out and wanted to actually eat inside. The food was amazing, the restaurant was clean and the staff were great. Overall our experience was fantastic and we will definitely be going back! We ordered the spicy pork and the Meatjun and BBQ Kalbi plate , the spicy pork was sizzling hot when it came out and it was perfectly caramelized with the onions it was served with, the kalbi was nice and juicy and super flavorful which paired well with the MeatJun. Usually you can tell how great a Korean bbq place is by their banchan and Million did not disappoint, it was amazing and the server was always checking to make sure we had enough. The staff were great and attentive to everything we needed! They kept our waters filled and our banchan coming, and would always check on us to see if we needed anything else. From the few times we ordered take out from here the front worker was always very polite and nice too. You can tell they really take pride in the restaurant by how clean and presentable it is as well. We will definitely be coming back again, especially since we live so close. It's great having a KBBQ place so close to us, next time we are gonna have to try the actual grill. If i were to change anything I'd say maybe the pricing, we did get a lot of food but it was still a little expensive. But that won't keep us away! Thank you million!! (Also there is plenty parking so it's great if you need to drive!!!)

FOOD/PRICE -- This place serves both Korean BBQ that you grill on your table and food that is cooked for you. KBBQ menu is pricier than other KBBQ spots in the area. You either order ala carte by the meats or order a set that is $74.99+. We ordered the Million Set S4 ($79.99), which includes non-marinated kalbi, outside skirt, wagyu brisket. The meats have superior quality, compared to other Korean BBQ spots, but they are EXPENSIVE and that the portions are small for a party of two. We were satisfied with the portions by the end of the meal, but we were not full. SERVICE -- Workers are friendly and efficient. Attended to our needs every time we search for them. AMBIANCE -- This place is SIGNIFICANTLY less smoky than other Korean BBQ places. It is also brightly lit inside. Decent place to have meals for special occasions. PARKING -- Many parking spots in the location.

We recently dined at Million Restaurant on Kapiolani Blvd, overall, it was a decent experience and it's these restaurants that I wish I could give a 3.5 star rating since it was just short of a 4 star for us. We ordered the Million Set 2 ($74.99), which is designed to feed two people. The set included four different cuts of meat, including Wagyu Brisket, and came with six delicious banchan side dishes. The banchan were definitely a highlight--fresh, flavorful, and a nice complement to the meats. The restaurant itself is large, well-lit, and can easily accommodate both large and small groups, which is great for gatherings. Service was a standout aspect of our visit. The staff was very attentive, frequently checking in and making sure that we had everything we needed. Their friendliness and promptness really elevated the experience. However, the main drawback for us was the quality of the meat. While the selection was decent, the cuts themselves were average and didn't stand out as anything particularly special. It was the the lowest price point so far in our K BBQ adventure but from a flavor and tenderness perspective I felt we've gotten better at other locations. In summary, Million Restaurant has a lot going for it--excellent service, a spacious and comfortable atmosphere, and tasty banchan. But for us, the star of a Korean BBQ meal should be the meat, and unfortunately, it fell just short in comparison. For the price though I think it's well worth the visit! Side note, each grill had a vent above it but I don't think any of them were on..at least it didn't appear to be. We did leave with a distinct aroma of K BBQ on our clothes and hair but that's not a bad thing sometimes.

Friend and I decided to try out this new location . It's a lot spacious than the original place, and the same quality and menu. Plus side is that there is ample parking right in front of the restaurant. The workers here are very friendly and welcoming when you enter, and we were seating almost immediately! However, I do believe that this place gets pretty packed on Friday nights and the weekends! But every other week day seems pretty slow. The sets they offer can serve 2 people! The meat quality is amazing compared to other KBBQ places. Also, we got the meat jun and it was so good!! But the workers attentiveness can we improved.. It took me raising my hand to getting up from my table to get a workers attention. Overall, I would come back. Side note - this place isn't AYCE so it's a good place if you want to limit you meat consumption!

We came here for lunch and we were seated right away. My husband got the kalbi plate and it was pretty good. I ordered the tendon soup out of curiosity but it was not for me. The soup was completely bland and the tendon was not tasty to me. So I would suggest to stick to the Korean food that you know. And not to be too adventurous in the future. Ample parking in a parking lot facing Kapiolani.

I love coming here after a long day. They're located on Kapiolani nearby the blaisdell, and they have their own parkling lot. Menu- there is a lot of options, I personally get a meat set and share it between 2 people, and thats pretty filling. All the meal is flavorful, and they have a lot of banchan that they bring. Service is quick, and they're attentive if your grill needs changing or any help. I would recommend to a friend.

Just gotta be patient for ban chan refills or if you need anything else, I don't expect much just happy that I get to have my Korean food. During this recent Saturday visit, I decided to go here for our late lunch, after hiking Koko Head Trail & Makapuu. It was about 4:30 pm, we were the only ones there, but it filled up pretty quick an and they do have many take out and Uber/Door Dash orders. My favorites here are the combo set, choice of soondubu (combination, kim chee, spam, beef, sausage, clam,) & either meat jun, fried mandoo, bulgogi, yellow corvina, seafood jun, or BBQ chicken. The combo use to be $20.55 my first time but now went up to $23.55, hence the increase, it is still a great deal, this meal comes with rice and 5 different ban chan. This combo was more than enough for the both of us. My favorite is the spam soondubu ( yes. who picks Spam right?! hehe) & the seafood Jun. Although it so hard to decide since all the choices are good, I will have to visit again for the other selection. The other half and I cannot eat an entire combo set by ourselves. I love the ban chan, especially the daikon & kim chee, so fresh and crispy! When I first dined here, I was surprise to see they give you a fresh egg to crack in your soondubu soup, I am use to the egg already in there. For the meats, the beef brisket and beef toro were the stars, but the beef chuck was slightly tough and dry. They were also out of bulgogi, which was disappointing. The pork had a really strong boar taint smell/taste, which completely turned me off from ordering any of the pork. We had to ask for more meat and banchan refills multiple times. There was usually a pretty noticeable lag before anything came out, which was frustrating for an AYCE spot. They also seemed to be selective about which banchans they would refill. They would bring more of the dishes like kimchi and cucumber, but when we asked for more tuna mac, they wouldn't give us any. It also looked like there were only two people working while there were probably around 10 tables during the Tuesday lunch rush, so I do think they were understaffed. If you're offering AYCE, the refills and service should flow a lot more smoothly. It felt like they were paying more attention the tables that selected a higher tier of AYCE. Not a terrible experience, but definitely not as seamless or enjoyable as I was hoping for.
