love love love this place. it's so fun and the drinks are good. there's live music sometimes which is always good and a dj outside. definitely a place to go for a fun night

It has been a while since I've been here! Met the owner, Bill, at a Friday night live music show. I didn't know he was thee Bill Comerford, because I always wanted to do his whiskey tasting at O'Tooles. What an amazing and interesting experience! Bill explains the history and origin of whiskey, and how each one we tasted was made and where it was from. We sampled six different whiskys, each one so unique. Apparently Bill has a whiskey club which is pretty cool. The tasting is $35, but as a member it's only $25. There was also food to snack on while tasting, and it was a fun group of people. Definitely worth checking out! Mahalo Bill and Anna!

I love Anna's! Walking distance from where I live, attend the bar multiple times a week. Shadow the manager is the best (make sure to always say hi to him if you see him)! Chad, Craig, and Sam are the best bartenders on the island of Oahu, so charismatic and personable! They make my night whenever I go out! The drinks are amazing and affordable. Small local bar but the music upstairs rocks and the games downstairs can be even better! Highly recommend coming here !

No one mentioned the $15 minimum charge for cards

Terrible, don't use credit cards, especially at clubs or bars, they really take advantage of people and overcharge them when using credit cards, luckily I checked my bank satatement and it said they charged me $25 dollars for one drink like wtf??? I assume it's the cost of the drink plus the $15 but whatever it is, it was a clear scam.

Brick fire tavern is good but European style and not the staple NY style. Much to my delight I finally tried this place - the hub had told me that it was opened by one of the original owners of JJ Dolan. Well he must've been the one who knew how to make real pizza. This Jersey tomato pie was so friggin delicious I coulda finished the whole thing myself except that I had also eaten some of their excellent and perfectly cooked fish and chips. First the pizza - it was almost like grandma style bc he drizzles more tomato sauce on top of the cheese. Not truly grandma style bc the toppings and cheese don't go all the way to the edges but honestly I'm a crust lover and their crust is super delicious and crisp. The sauce is amazing. It's not a huge slice like a real NY pizza but the flavors are all there. Fish and chips - I'm never big on this dish but these were cooked perfectly. Came out hot and crisp and light not oily. These fries were perfection - crispy, hot, seasoned but not too salty and potatoey on the inside but not too much. The fish was not oily and hot and perfect texture. The ambience is an Irish pub with character not a dive. There's a pay parking lot steps away. And for lunch it's practically empty on the weekday. They confirmed they do takeout and I will definitely be back to get pizzas from here.

The turkey was exceptionally tender, flavorful, and covered in a rich, savory gravy that soaked into the soft bread and paired perfectly with the creamy mashed potatoes. The sides were excellent too. The cranberry sauce was the perfect sweet-tart contrast and helped balance the richness of the gravy. It was a satisfying, well-rounded plate from start to finish.

We had a friend visiting from Scotland and wanted to give him an authentic pub experience, and Murphy's delivered in every way. Fridays after work are especially great here, the place fills up with energy, and for some reason the Guinness just tastes better. We grabbed seats at the bar, always the right move, and were taken care of by bartenders who were friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. My buddy and I stuck with pints of Guinness while my wife enjoyed a dirty martini. The food did not disappoint. Corned beef and cabbage, a breaded pork chop with mashed potatoes, and a salmon Caesar salad all hit the spot. The back bar is packed with memorabilia and old photos, so much history that you could grab a pint and wander for an hour just taking it all in. The shuffleboard was another highlight and quickly turned into a few competitive games. What really stood out was the crowd, so many regulars stopping in, greeting each other, and chatting with the staff, it truly felt like a Cheers-style place where everybody knows your name. Murphy's works just as well for lunch or dinner, and it is perfect for both locals and visitors. Thanks, Murphy's, for making it such a great night for our Scottish buddy.

Last…read moretime I could remember eating around there was at Murphy's...man does time fly quickly than usual. So my expectations were a bit curious with a place like J Dolan's. I've seen people say that they serve one of the best New York-style pizzas in Oahu. After today, they certainly delivered on that promise. So...as far as what I ordered there, with a friend, this was a good place to share a pizza and salad today. I got their mixed green salad alongside the Boardwalk pie. Wow...was it so good. Salad - Loved it...felt very fresh and unique, especially with the snow peas and broccoli, two ingredients I wouldn't have expected to be on a salad, but it works. Pizza - Dynamite. The crust was so crispy and definitely was beautiful to look at. Flavor was excellent...as it made me feel like I was experiencing a taste of New York right there. I can't say much more about this place, but man...they really brought the 'wow' factor for a pizza pub. Would I recommend this place? Totally. If you want to experience a good slice of NY style pizza, this is a good place to look at. Maybe sometime if I do come back, I would love to try their Giacomo pie. Thanks J Dolan, you really brightened up my day. 10/10

I made reservations for 5:45 PM however when I checked in at Pint and Jigger, I was notified that the reservations were for P&J and not the speakeasy which opens at 6 PM. Therefore I believe that there are still kinks to be made with their reservation system. We waited at the bar until it was sorted out. You walk through a whiskey wall and walk upstairs to the speakeasy. They used a lot of the decor from the former location known as Harry's Emporium. We were the only ones for about an hour so we were able to maximize the bartender's time. Max is an excellent bartender and informed us that they are only open on the weekends for now. He's the only bartender and they are still working out staffing issues. No food at the moment. The theme is New Orleans/French. The drinks and music all have that vibe.
