(With a household of 6 the daily use of the washing machine, bathtubs, and dishwasher had to be carefully timed and even then we sometimes had to use water that wasn't the appropriate temperature; having hot water on demand has been a lifesaver during this season of raising young children). Dirty Plumber was quick to respond to my husband's quote request and the company was transparent with pricing. I really feel we got a good value and quality work. After the work was completed, I later saw the business owner volunteering at AWANAS (apparently he's a regular who volunteers every week with the kids); this gave me further confidence that the owner must be genuine guy who's speal about how he was able to offer the best price really could be trusted. I *WILL* say that had I been the one looking at quotes (rather than my husband) the name "Dirty Plumber" would not have necessarily deterred me but the ugly cartoon mascot painting on their company truck certainly may have! I would imagine oftentimes women are the ones who arrange their schedule to let the employee in to do the work and the "plumber's crack", actively smoking while working, disheveled grumpy looking mascot painted on their van didn't exactly paint a picture of professionalism, reliability, or safety. THANKFULLY, I felt the owner and employee who arrived to do the work were professional in their interactions, overall appearance, time on task, and attention to detail (the tankless water heater is installed evenly on my garage wall and the insulation on it looks neat and tidy). If you are considering switching to a tankless water heater I highly recommend Dirty Plumber. Their price is great, they are thorough, and the quality work is evident.

No one enjoys dealing with plumbing emergencies or issues, but if you're looking for someone fair, honest and true to their word, you need to hire the services of The Dirty Plumber. Excellent overall and they are locally owned as well. Recommended.

The company sent out a young but very knowledgeable and adept plumber out the next day, who made quick work of removing the old tank, helping me rebuild the platform that was now ruined, and installed a new tank with new piping. I was very impressed with the speed and expertise of the job! While maybe not the cheapest company I received a quote from, it was certainly not as expensive as many of the lower-rated companies, and had the quickest turnaround to my family's hot water back on. Today (six months after the new install), the release valve popped on the water heater and we lost hot water. I shut it down and turned off the water and gas, and immediately called for help. It was 4pm (and I live in Fernley). I had taken a photo, as well, and texted it to them showing exactly what to expect. By 5:15pm, there was a plumber at my door (they made record time all the way from Reno in heavy traffic on I-80!) and they repaired the faulty valve and also repaired an exhaust pipe (from original home construction) that had started bending. All under warranty from the work they had done previously for me. Again, I was very impressed, and I am 100% completely satisfied by having chosen such a reputable plumbing company!

(permits & inspections costs included!)

I bought the replacement spigot parts at Home Depot, and he did the labor. He educated me on a tankless water heater to replace my old 50 gallon water heater while explaining the benefits of going tankless. I also have the option of purchasing a water filtration system too. I'm probably moving forward on both systems in the next few months, and will rely on his services for parts and installation. I've included some before and after photos of the outside water spigot. As you can see from the after photo, the water leakage issue is completely resolved. Not a single drop of water is coming out of the spigot now!

I spent most of yesterday trying to release a clog in my kitchen sink drain. After failing all DIY remedies, I called at 7 a.m. this morning. I left my details with (I think) an answering service, and I got a call back from Mark in TWO MINUTES to schedule an appointment for 2p-4p same day. I'm pretty sure he's the owner. He and Kai called when on their way, arrived right around 2 p.m., and triaged the situation efficiently and quickly. I got an immediate quote which seemed very fair to me, and they completed the cleaning of ~25' of my drain in 30 minutes. Mark was very friendly and easygoing, and ALSO very knowledgeable and professional. I have my plumber for life. I wish I could give them 6 stars!

Joey is a Professional and Knowledgeable with a Kind Personality who is a True Asset to this Company ! We experienced a nightmare scenario just before Xmas…read more.. We had a water line burst in the wall behind our water heater, leaking into our downstairs closet and crawl space. My first call was to Michael's but they were booked solid that Friday afternoon. 1st Plumbing company (Hoffman Plumbing) that was available on a Friday came out and took 1 look at the pipes in the crawlspace, identifying the pipes as Kitech Pex. (Massive recall, fail rate, and class action lawsuit). They stated they wouldn't work on Kitech due to the liability and just left. 2nd plumbing company (RotoRooter) came out soon after on Friday, also identified the Kitech Pex Piping, explained the fail rate and the shortcomings of the design of Kitech that lead to the recall, originating not only with the fail rate but incompatibility with standardized repair methods requiring a full repipe of the home. They left without making any repairs with the hot water off "until they could quote the repipe". I called Michaels back, and got on their schedule for 1st thing on that Monday morning, informing them of the Kitech and "work" by the previous plumbers. They confirmed they could provide a temp solution to get the hot water back on for the holiday but a repipe would be needed. Andy came out on Monday, with temp fittings and a pipe to replace the impacted line. He explained it was merely a patch until the repipe is completed. Andy identified the water damage from the line to the closet, flooring, and crawl.... Recommending Rainbow International Restoration. (A++ crew that worked on mitigation for insurance.). Kent was out the next day the estimate. Luckily we had a crawlspace and not slab but 2 a two story house. Michael's Plumbing provided a fair quote for the work (unlike Roto who was predatory in their estimate by 250%). Their crew worked over 5 days, opening up the walls for access on 12/30-12/31. Returning the next week to install the new pipes. Unlike other companies which said we'd have to vacate while repairs are completed.... Michael's not only installed the new piping, installed new fixtures (might as well update in the process), but they did in a manner that we had running water and working bathroom so we didn't have to vacate. Their team came out after finishing the installation for a little finishing work while their recommended Dry Wall guy worked magic to close and texture the walls good as new. (Kent recommended Don at The Wall Doctor and it was another home run). It was a Griswold Christmas, with expensive repairs, remodel and construction... But Michael's delivered, working over the holidays and keeping us at home (and not displaced) for Christmas. A couple dings on the floor... but considering the size of the work/remodel... almost expected. 100000000% recommend Michael's Plumbing as they are honest, provide great referrals, and know that their worksite is your home.. not a bottom line.
