Wow kind of a let down. DON'T LET ALL THE PRETTY PICTURES FOOL YOU (notice how they are all from the owner...?) The beautiful deviled egg platter? Don't have it. Smoked salmon platter? Nope. What do they have... we'll, pretty mundane. French toast, eggs, pancakes, avocado toast, some sandwiches, oatmeal. Very mundane. The restaurant itself is attached to a little hotel, downstairs. It is NOT on the water (the view is off a street and a brick building). Any suggestion you read of being on the waterfront is misleading. Restaurant is mostly empty on Mother's Day for breakfast. Obviously not that popular. The owner is a master of social media manipulation. I ordered an almond milk cappuccino, my wife some tea. Both where very good - although my second cappuccino was less creamy. Not as good and pretty inconsistent. The mushroom toast was tasty - but it was just mushrooms on toast with some French cream cheese. No protein so I ordered a side of egg whites. Nothing special. My wife ordered eggs and sausage and toast. Again nothing special - plain eggs, kind of bland pork sausage, and run-of-the-mill whole grain toast. Overall very disappointing. Tempted to give one star but, service was good and the atmosphere not bad, and the tea was nice so - begrudging two stars. Not coming back. read more

Food was good not great. Service was terrible and it wasn't even all that busy. Waiter forgot cream for coffee, hot sauce when asked, etc etc. Much better options in that amazing brunch city. read more

Cool place. But ordered the prix fix menu tonight. Deviled eggs amazing. The pork dish was a joke. Some kinda potato broth with 4 very small pieces of pork. Tasted good, but now I have to go get dinner somewhere. Literally the size of your thumb. The entree was like an appetizer. I'll come back. But this message is more for them. That entree was a waste of money. read more

This review is for the bar only and not the restaurant as we did not try the food. The bar has a nice, cool vibe but to be honest the service was terrible. The bartenders work very slow, look somewhat lost, and it's impossible to get their attention. We waited 15 minutes and eventually gave up. Not worth the wait and bad service when there are so many other options around! read more

We ate brunch here and everything was great. The decor for both the restaurant and bar has an industrial vibe and both areas are very comfortable and laI'd back. The food and service were excellent. We ordered from the breakfast/brunch menu and everything came out timely and tasted delicious! read more

The restaurant is nicely decorated. We went on a Tuesday night and it wasn't busy at all, but it's not really tourist season. We started with the Hushpuppies appetizer, I had Mushroom Risotto and my husband had Rhett's Fried Chicken. We appreciated the interesting variety of menu items. Although the Hushpuppies were good, there was a lot of salt on the outside. It tasted good at first. Then came the main courses and you could tell the basic recipe was good, but everything was very salty. My husband loves salt but it was too much for him, too. Cut back on the salt and/or use spices instead. read more

Wow.... The hotel Alida was absolutely amazing. From the refillable water stations that had my favorite sparkling water , to the complimentary bikes and the well equipped fitness center, this was a 5 start experience. We visited the hotel Restaurant Rhett two nights in a row . We had the hush puppies with the sarachi honey butter , the Caesar salad, salmon smash burger all very delicious and fresh. We were licky to have Chandra as our server for both nights and she was absolutely stellar. Great service and great food. I'm definitely returning. read more

It exceeded my expectations. We both looked at the menu online and just knew what we wanted. Our server told us about the catch of the day and I changed my mind. The hubby did too when he saw the smash burger. read more

Outstanding experience all the way around. The service was the best we had in Savannah & their food was delicious. Avoid some of the tourist trap restaurants & go to Rhett for fine dining the way it's supposed to be. read more

Our first time at Rhett and we'll be back! The location, vibe and staff - shout out to Thur and Permana, who were excellent! Let me get to the food - the best mushroom tartine we've ever had - I could easily have ordered another one - that good. We shared the crab risotto with pumpkin - the combo really worked as every bite was delicious. We also had the side of carrots and side baby broccoli - this is a farm to table restaurant they know how to do veggies. Di started with a cocktail and then joined me for a glass of red. The wine list is excellent and especially nice there's a separate list that rotates each month. From the front to back of house - this restaurant really provides a great dinning experience - check it out. read more

Loved loved loved. Such cozy vibes and great service. We loved our mushroom risotto and burger with truffle fries. We got the red velvet cake for dessert which was a lovely sweet treat to end the meal. It was the perfect spot for us in terms of what we were looking for! read more

Visited Savannah with my wife to celebrate my 40th birthday and our meal at Rhett was hands down the best dining experience had in the city. Upon entering the stylish-yet-comfortable establishment the hostess greeted us by name and we were promptly seated. After taking our spot at the table, our server Paola greeted us and let us know that she would be taking good care of us, which she absolutely did! From menu recommendations (which included helpful and interesting details about food sourcing) and complimentary birthday champagne to attentive-but-not-overbearing service throughout our meal, Paola and the rest of the team of runners and waitstaff were absolutely on point. The food itself was VERY on point as well. We ordered several courses of starters and opted for a "lighter" main soup course, but everything was delicious and we were blown away by the quality, freshness, and flavor. After the market oysters (briny and sumptuous with excellent pairings of house cocktail sauce and apple cucumber mignonette), Rhett Caesar (grits croutons???? C'mon!), cheddar drop biscuits (moist, flaky, savory), she crab soup (creamy goodness), and gumbo (deep rich flavor that begged for dunks with the cheddar drop biscuits), it was time for dessert. Being that it was my birthday, I did not hold back and ordered both the cardamom cinnamon beignets and the sweet Georgia brown sundae. The freshly fried beignets competed handily with the best NOLA has to offer and the sundae was stacked with praline turtles, hot fudge, whipped cream, toasted almonds, and, of course, a cherry on top. By the end of the meal filled with laughter, delicious food, great vibes, and fun conversation we were fully satisfied and left only with a hunger to revisit Rhett the next time we find ourselves in Savannah. read more

The Bloody Mary menu caught my eye, and it did not disappoint. Six kinds of bloody's, perfect brunch. We split the grits bowl, and it was definitely big enough to share. Highly recommended! read more

Never disappoints! We had brunch. Mimosas were perfect and good/service excellent. We sat outside because puppy could it come in. Enjoyed!

Located inside Alida- we came here for breakfast. You can enter via the hotel as well as from the river street entrance, which goes directly into the diner. I and my friends shared the loaded grits, mushroom and Boursin toast and Banana French toast. The loaded grits were great! If you like grits, it's a great choice! I love mushrooms so I liked the mushroom entree. However, I don't think it was the best thing I have had. The French toast was good as well but nothing extra ordinary. I am really disappointed in the cleanliness here- our table and plates were dirty including our forks. This is during the COVID times and you would think cleanliness would be number one priority (it should always be). Our server was friendly and changed it quickly but it made me super uncomfortable about the cleanliness. Don't think I would be going back. read more

this is a really cute, low-key brunch spot. I feel like when you think of a bottomless mimosas. Everybody wants to go to ordinary pub, but I find the food there kind of underwhelming. so I tried the rhett this time to go out to brunch and it was amazing and then some. we had a bottomless, mimosas and breakfast. Of course our server Kelsey was so nice. The mimosas were amazing and they kept them coming. I believe I had the shrimp and grits. So delicious! I love the interior of the restaurant. It's so clean and modern. I loved the bathroom because I took a lot of selfies in the mirror. I would definitely recommend this place if you want to see bottomless, mimosas, and go to somewhere different besides Broughton Street. read more

Taylor is amazing her service is by far the best in river street. highly recommend Rhett. will be back for sure

We went for the Christmas Day Brunch. We had a reservation and we were seated right away. The food was so good! My favorites were the make your own BLT station and the fried chicken & waffles station!! The staff were constantly replenishing buffet stations so the food was always fresh. We wished they had some sort of pastries like croissants or maybe even bagels but overall it was a great experience! read more

Great and aware service from my server Rodrick. A bartender misunderstanding caused a minor delay but the oysters made up for it. Well shucked and clean. Steak and fries and scallops. Scallops were done right read more

Decided to skip our usual breakfast spot in the city and try something new and I'm glad we did. Uber hip restaurant inside the Alida hotel. The decor matches the mid century modern look of the hotel w/ a nice shipping/diner feel. Food was just as delightful as the decor. Originally opted for the croissant breakfast sandwich but because they were out of the croissants I ended up going w/ my second choice the shiitake mushroom and Boursin cheese toast. So glad they were out of the sandwich because the mushroom toast was absolutely heavenly. Buttered focaccia w/ creamy cheese and sautéed mushrooms to top it off. Simple yet exquisite. Service and staff was friendly and adherent to the safety standards in place. read more

Just came in with a friend for brunch for two. No hostess in sight. We waited around the front entrance to be seen for 3 mins, then noticed a crowd by the elevator. We went over there. Waited 5 mins. The table for 8 were sat accordingly but then the new wave of people coming in from the entrance outside got another waitresses attention and they all were seated prior to anyone even noticing us. The family of three in front of us had for wave down a waitress to show her we were all waiting. Overall, very disorganized and disappointing. Wasn't able to dine in because they had no way of keeping track of who was coming in from what door. For such a cute establishment, a hostess and clear direction needs to be implemented for guests to enjoy. read more

I came to Rhett twice during my visit to Savannah. My first visit was part of a food tour where they served us the She Crab Soup. If you like lobster bisque you'll most likely like this dish. Our tour guide informed us that they use a sherry in the soup which adds a sweetness that isn't otherwise found in a lobster bisque. I like the soup and the decor of the restaurant so much that I came back the next day for dinner. For dinner I ordered the ceviche and the Rhett Caesar Salad. The ceviche is made with coconut milk but still has the same tang and kick of regular ceviche. The bartender recommended the Rhett Caesar which is made with grits croutons. This twist took the salad to a new level. The restaurant is located near the water in a hotel and is a great place to take a walk before or after your meal. read more

If I could give them 6 stars I would. The food was exceptional and the staff attentive and friendly. We loved they had the coffee bar in the restaurant and we both had vanilla lattes. Which were light, and flavorful. We each had the Avocado toast, which was the perfect quick brunch meal. They are very crowded on Saturday's but take reservations which I highly recommend making. read more

We ate here for brunch on New Year's Eve and it was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious and I really liked the decor and the tucked away yet central location. We have been wanting to try this place for dinner and after such a great brunch experience decided to come back the next day for dinner. Service was good but the food was not. Everything was very bland and no one from our party liked what they got and they were also out of one of their main meals right at opening of dinner service. Saying all that I would still go back here for brunch but never for dinner there plenty of other places that are way better for the price. read more

Walked right in. Nice place and food was good. I had the Low Country Cioppino which was really good and crab cakes.

I loved this place. First, the service - the server was so kind and helpful, but also shout out to the hostess who was so sweet. The place has super cool vibes, our whole party loved it. And the food (dinner) was top notch! A special shout out to the she-crab soup which was to die for, and the mushroom/garlic break app that I can't remember the name of. So so good. And the best part, don't sleep on the banana pudding for dessert! Best dessert I had during our vacation. Everyone in our party loved this place, highly recommend! read more
