We originally had a problem with our kitchen drywall sagging and slowly breaking away from the stone wall. As I contacted Roy I found out not only could they fix that no problem, but they also had interior painters on hand. I originally was not going to use Roy's company for interior paint, but with Roy's excellent communication and eagerness to get to work ASAP, I was not going to wait for the original companies that bid on the interior paint. After all, if your going to leave us out of the loop and leave us wondering if and when our house is ever get painted, why would I bother when Roy has a definitive date on hand when they could start and on extremely short notice. Everything turned out amazing. There was a miscommunication about some cracks that were supposed to be filled in and accounted for during the original walk through that were going to be additional costs, but as soon as I explained to Roy what happened and that I was under the impression they were included in the original bid, he quickly absorbed the cost with no additional money added on our end. Roy is very professional and has what I believe to be a vast arsenal of skilled contractors for whatever you would need done to your house. If In the event they do not work directly for him, he definitely knows skilled people that can complete any job needed and is willing to put his own company's name and license on their work. Roy prefers to communicate over text message since he himself works with his hands in loud environments everyday. As this may seem different to some, I use technology any chance I get. I feel that I have much better record keeping skills when I can go back to look at dates, times, financials etc. In short, I was very pleased with text and email only. I'm sure if this is not comfortable for you, he will make time to call you. Thanks again to Roy, Tonio, and Carlos! Contacted Roy because RG Drywall has great reviews here. Asked if could repair wallpaper, sent him some photos, wallpaper is old (1984). He had to ask one of his guys if they could do this, but he said they would have to remove all wallpaper which was what I was told from other people. While they could not help me with this, it was a please to communicate with Roy, he is prompt, courteous and all around really nice guy. Going to call him back about a larger job because my "handyman" is good, but is not really that good at drywall repairs. read more

Working with Roy and RG Drywall and Repair was a great and easy experience. Probably the best communication with a contractor I have ever experienced. Five stars! My husband and I purchased our first home recently and were extremely reluctant to hire anyone to work on our house. The previous owner let his cats pee everywhere, so after removing almost all of the flooring, we realized we needed to replace the bottom 2 feet of drywall from most of the house as well. We called a few people we found through Yelp and are so glad we came across Roy. He gave us recommendations on how to save money like removing the drywall ourselves (he even told my husband HOW to do it). He is honest and doesn't try to upsell. If he doesn't know the answer, he will recommend someone else. Like a previous reviewer said, texting is his preferred method of communication and he is very responsive. What a standout agreeable business! We put in our inquiry and Roy responded quickly. Within a few days his great team lead by Carlos showed up and carefully handled and protected our stuff and got all the drywall work finished in the timeframe they told us. Roy sent out Carlos the next day who looked over the project and I had an estimate a few hours later. We agreed on a price and Carlos was back to do the work.
