They gave me a fair quote. They showed up when they said they would and the did a great job. Thank you!

I received a quote the day after I messaged RF Tree Service which was more affordable than some competitors. We scheduled tree trimming service the same week through text. The entire process was seamless and convenient. 4 employees showed up and completed the job quickly. Very impressed with their work and clean up. Would use RF Tree Service again and recommend to all! read more

Tony is excellent in customer service. From the time we meet for his quote to after the job was complete We live in the heights with lot of tree around our house I was super comfortable that the job would be performed properly and without issue. Job was done as promised and I am very pleased with RF tree service. Will 100% use in the future. read more

Quick response. Great service. They did a great job on three trees for me. Will hire again next time. They cleaned up the yard really well also. read more

Would recommend RF Tree service to anyone that needs tree removal work done. Tony and his crew did a fantastic job removing my trees and grinding the stumps. Clean up was fantastic, could not tell the trees were removed by how clean the street and drive way were. True professionals doing professional work at a competitive price. 10/10. read more

I have used this company four times over the past 5 years. They are safe and very consistent with the productivity and quality of their work. Maintaining large oak trees is an investment in your property. I will not use another company. Tony responds when I call or text, is easy to work with, reschedules in advance to avoid rain outs. His equipment is always reliable and last but not least, he treats his employees with respect. Here is the latest tree that Tony and his crew removed. These guys have earned their 5 star rating. Thanks for your service, Tony! read more

Highly recommend this company! They did an excellent job with our trees, were extremely efficient and responsive, and have great prices! Fabulous family owned company that we will be supporting for any tree trimming needs in the future! read more

Wonderful service! They showed up as promised and went above and beyond in their work. I highly recommend!

Came out right away. Was very honest in their assessment of what to do with the trees. Would completely trust them in their opinion

They were professional and quick. My tree was removed 3 days after talking with them.

Yelp really came through with my search for a tree trimming company. I found RF Tree Service with a lot of reviews and a 5 star rating, so I gave them a call. They responded in a reasonable amount of time and I set up an appointment for an estimate. Tony came out and was great to work with. He listened to my wants, explained what would be best for my trees and we agreed on what to do. He then wrote me out an estimate with a great price. On the day of the service Tony was here along with the crew to get them started. Before he left he introduced me to the person in charge (brother-in-law) who was also excellent to work with as he had no problems hitting a couple of areas that I wanted a little bit more trimming done when they had finished. They did a fantastic job and it was obvious when they finished that they knew what they were doing. Several friends/neighbors have commented on the great job. I'll definitely be giving them a call when it's time to trim again. read more

I've used RF Tree Service several times and have been really happy with the ways the trees look each time. They maintain as much of the tree canopy as they can to provide shade yet lighten up the tree by removing dead branches and such. I would recommend them to any of my neighbors. read more

We were very pleased with Tony and his teams work and quick responsiveness! They removed two trees and trimmed two large oaks. His men worked very quickly and made a significant impact on the curb appeal. Price was very reasonable considering the amount of work completed. Would recommend to others. read more

They were easy to contact and schedule our tree trimming. They were efficient and kind. They were helpful in helping us decide what needed to be done for safety reasons. I would definitely hire them again if/when I need more trees trimmed! So easy to work with and provided before and after pictures when I asked! read more

Used RF Tree Services to remove a stump. Response to my request for quote was almost instantaneous, agreed on price and schedule time all through yelp with in a matter of minutes. Work was done a day ahead of schedule. Excellent service!!! Excellent price!!! read more

We had RF Tree come out today to trim a huge oak tree we had in our neighborhood that had never been trimmed. We couldn't be happier with the work they did! We received the quote quickly and they came out very the same week to do the work. The tree looks incredible! Will definitely be using them again. read more

Tony and his team do amazing work! Tony came out quickly and provided me with an extremely fair and reasonable bid. I had two very large trees to remove, one in a bad location, and one very dangerous as it had partially fallen and was leaning on a power pole. Additionally, it was in a precarious location which necessitated a multi-property cleanup. The work was performed quickly--even managing to come a day sooner, which was very nice! They nicely trimmed some smaller trees and worked around an active nest. The team works hard, is very efficient and professional. I would recommend RF Tree and Tony again and again! read more

RF Tree gave me a fair quote, they showed up on time, cut a dying tree down which extended over our neighbor's property, hauled everything away, ground the stump and even ground a nearby stump for free.....I will call them again when I need more tree service! read more

Tony was great to work with. Responded immediately and met me the same day to give me a quote which was very competitive. His crew was extremely professional and cut down 2 mature dying trees, ground the stump and roots and left it where you wouldn't have even known a tree had been there. High recommend this folks!! read more

RF Tree Service did a beautiful job trimming our large live oak tree which is in our front yard. A few weeks afterwards we changed insurance companies and they wanted the tree trimmed back in a manner that would have made the tree not only look awful but would have unbalanced it. I call Tony. He and another member of their team came to look at the tree. They really didn't want to cut it again but said they would if the insurance company insisted. They agreed to write a letter to the insurance company explaining their concerns about the tree. The insurance company accepted the letter and agreed that they would continue to insure our home. I was so impressed with their professionalism. I will definitely use them again. read more

Came out on a Sunday to provide a quote. Came back on Tuesday to trim trees throughout the property. They did a great job with the trees, and the crew was fast, professional, and tidy. Will definitely call them again next year. read more

We had our tree removed today, a very large Pecan tree. Tony the owner came on Saturday to quote and he was prompt and professional. We found the price very reasonable considering the work to be done. He said his crew would do the work on Monday and true to his word we came home to find the tree removed and all the wood and shavings completely gone. Sad to see the tree gone but happy that we chose RF. read more

I had great experience working with RF Tree Service. The price is fair and the service was excellent from start to finish. It's my pleasure working with Tony who's very straight forward and friendly. I would definitely use RF Tree Service again in the future. read more

Excellent customer service. Tony and his crew did a great job on a very big pecan tree in-between our house and the neighbors. They were very precise and took their time to make sure nothing was damaged. Cleanup was thorough. I got 3 quotes and RF Tree service came in the middle. I mentioned this to Tony and he was able to help in decreasing the quote to meet my needs and my neighbors. Would recommend. read more

I had two big palm trees die suddenly before Thanksgiving. One about 30ft, the other 10ft. Response time to set an appointment was very quick, Tony came out and was very professional and pleasant to converse with. He and his crew were at my house first thing Saturday after the holiday and had both trees removed within a couple of hours. Including stump grinding. I was most impressed with their clean up, from rebuilding the retaining wall they needed to dismantle to grind the stumps, to even cleaning all the tree debris from the pool. Tony and his crew are efficient, meticulous and courteous. I will definitely call them in again if I need another tree service. read more

I have lived in Spring Shadows for 30 years. This is a wonderful small company started by Lorenzo Romero. I met Lorenzo back in the early 1990's and he started taking care of my trees back then. I completely trusted Lorenzo and his work. Lorenzo's nephew, Tony Sanchez, now runs the company. I cannot say enough nice things about Tony. I trust him as I trusted his uncle. They do excellent work at a fair price. They have good equipment and proper manpower to do the work quickly and clean-up after all the cutting is done. Today, they trimmed two of my trees and one of my neighbors trees. As I have come to expect, they did a great job! read more

Came for a quote within a day, did the work cleanly and as expected. Left the site clean and made sure I was happy with everything. 5 stars all the way. read more

I needed several trees trimmed way back and a few trees removed completely! RF came out very promptly, gave me a fair quote and did an awesome job! I would highly recommend. read more

I have been using RF Tree Service for several years. They are always prompt and very professional. I had a large oak tree die suddenly over the winter. Tony and his people have worked on this tree before - trimming it down over the years. They were able to fit me in to remove this tree and gave me a great price (several hundred less then the other bid). Highly recommended. read more

Contacted RF Tree Service for an estimate and they were very friendly and prompt with scheduling a convenient time to come by. We ultimately went with a different company so can't review the actual service, but can offer a rating based on my interaction with them during the estimate process. They have hundreds of five star reviews on a different home service website and after meeting the owner, I am confident they would do a great job. read more

Great service! They came through with exactly as was discussed. Loved the finished work. I was left impressed at how all of the workers knew exactly what to do and how well they worked together to finish the job. Thank you guys so much! read more

I called RF Tree Service yesterday 1-8-2019 and was given a $250 quote for an 11" tree stump removal. I was told that was the going rate. I called and hired Gabby's Tree Service. They did a great job for less than 1/3rd the price. It's not rocket science. read more

After reading the reviews on several tree services in Houston, I was wondering if there were any good ones. I found positive reviews on RF Tree Service and gave them a call. I left a message on Saturday afternoon and Mary followed up with me by text shortly thereafter. I set up an appointment for Monday afternoon for an estimate. On Monday, Tony got stuck in 290 traffic, but he let me know he was running late, which was appreciated. He wound up only about 10 minutes late. He reviewed with me what I wanted - lift the canopy on 2 oak trees, thin out a pear tree and take down a cedar tree that was being crowded out by one of the oaks, including grinding the stump. He gave me the estimate and we agreed on the day of the work. I was gone when the guys came out to do the work, but they did exactly what they were asked to do. The oak trees and the pear tree looked great, no trash was left behind (even a couple of dead branches I had cut down and left on my driveway) and the stump was ground down on the cedar tree as promised. I was happy with the price, but I can't compare it to any other services, because the other 2 services I called for estimates (I won't name names, but they have a number of poor reviews) never bothered to return my messages. I would use RF Tree Service again as they were prompt and did exactly what they were asked to do when they said they would do it for the agreed upon price. read more

I initially contacted RF Tree Service to quote on trimming trees as well as remove a couple overgrown oleander's. Although the initial quotation was a bit higher than I had expected, and I was surprised that a written estimate had not been provided until I requested it, I was generally pleased with the focus on detail and professionalism of the initial visit. I delayed several weeks to ponder the plan, and when I then requested that they send me a written quote, they had to come out again to review the scope of work because so much time had passed that it was no longer fresh in the estimators mind. After I received this written quote - which was the same price as before - I again requested they come out (for a 3rd time) because I wanted to expand the scope to remove all of the trees entirely which had originally been quoted to be trimmed. While many companies may be less than happy that I seemed so indecisive, RF Tree Service was very responsive and promptly scheduled a time convenient for me to come out for the 3rd time to quote again. They arrived exactly on time, but somehow did not hear the arrival at the door and about 15 minutes later I discovered Lorenzo had dropped his card on my door to indicate he had been there at our agreed time. I called him to confirm that I was in fact home but had not heard his knock at the door, and rather than suggest another appointment would have to be made as I expected, he immediately drove all the way back and was very pleasant and happy to do so. I was impressed with his attitude, and upon providing the revised quote I decided to proceed with their service. The date originally proposed to begin the work was sooner than I had expected, and on a day inconvenient for me. I requested another day, and they were very happy to accommodate. Lorenzo and his crew arrived at exactly the time they said they would, and worked very hard throughout the entire day. I was impressed not only with the quality of their work, but also at how attentive they were to protection of my property, and their diligence in cleaning up the resulting debris. I really got the feeling that they cared about delivering a top-notch result and clearly focused more on ensuring I was very satisfied rather than the "get in - get out as quickly as possible" approach of many contractors. Any request I made was accommodated with eagerness and a smile, and I feel they did at least as much work as we had agreed if not more. At the end of the day I asked that they cut one more tree down which had not been part of the plan, and there wasn't even the slightest hesitation on their part even though the crew was otherwise finished and about to pack up to leave. The following day one member of the crew came back and spent the entire day grinding all the stumps. It was very tricky as he had to get the machine in some incredibly tight areas, and avoid a plethora of sprinkler water lines and control wiring. He did an amazing job navigating, and it was obvious the amount of attention he put into avoiding any damage. His diligence and efforts in this regard were beyond what I expected, and even when I told him it was ok if he accidently damaged the sprinkler system since it looked all but impossible not to, he worked very hard by hand digging all around to locate all the lines and successfully avoided cutting anything. At the end of the 2nd day when all the work was complete and Lorenzo came to check and be sure I was happy with the results, I noticed one more area which I had forgotten to mention I would like to have trimmed, but wasn't sure how far to go with it since it overhung my neighbors yard. I suggested to Lorenzo that I needed to speak with the neighbor before deciding how to proceed. Even though it was not part of the scope of the job as quoted, Lorenzo said once I decided how much I wanted to trim, just to give him a call and he would make another trip back and trim it at no charge. Impressive! Overall I am very pleased with this company and their professionalism, and would highly recommend their service. read more

Showed up on time. Did a great job for a fair price. I would highly recommend these guys.

I was referred to RF tree service by a neighbor and I'm so glad I gave them a call. Tony came out to give me a free estimate immediately and we were extremely pleased with the work. Prompt, knowledgeable and reasonable! I will definitely use them the next time we need our trees trimmed and have recommended RF to other neighbors! read more

I found RF Tree Services on Angie's List. They were rated very highly. So I invited them along with two other companies to give me a bid on cutting down some trees and cutting back some other ones. RF came in with the lowest bid several hundred dollars less than the next lowest bidder. The person that came out was very nice and the person I talked to at the office was extremely friendly and personable. So I went with this company. They did an excellent job going above and beyond what I had asked for. Before I paid the bill, they wanted to make sure that I was perfectly happy with the work they had done. I was very happy as they did a wonderful job. If you need any trees cut, do yourself a favor and call RF tree services. read more

Tony and Mary are terrific. First class. I have used RF Tree Service for many years and have always been thrilled with the service and very fair prices. Besides trimming, I also had them remove a giant oak tree right next to my house (no easy task). They made it look easy. Don't hesitate, You won't find a better, more reliable, more fair or friendly tree service company then RF! read more

I could not be happier with the service and tree trimming I received from RF Tree service. They were not only on time, but also did a beautiful job trimming our trees. I had an encounter with a different tree service that that took my money without grinding stumps because they had to outsource this service. Not RF Tree service! They had everything needed for the entire job. The also cleaned up all of the debris. Nothing was left behind. They were quick and were willing to work around our schedule. With 3 kids, 2 of which still nap, they had no issue with accommodating our needs. Not only would and do I recommend RF Tree service, but I will be using them from here on out! read more
