*Indoor dining review* I used to go to their York rd location with my co-workers regularly, the service, the food + the fresh homemade salsa and chips are always a plus. I decided to come here and visit their new location with couple of friends, new location but same great food. Restaurant: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Food: 5/5 Parking: Free parking lot ~Restaurant~ This new restaurant is almost 3x the size compare to the one on York rd. The atmosphere is very similar to the York rd location, nicely decorated and everything's clean. ~Service~ Service was good, staff is friendly and helpful. No complains. ~Food~ What we ordered: -Huevos Rancheros (Very good) -El Ranchero (Very good) -Chicken Tacos (Very good) I've been to few Mexican restaurants where they drenched the protein in heavy amount of oily, makes my stomach very uncomfortable afterwards. It is comforting knowing that both of Rey Azteca's locations are on point with their food. In conclusion, I would definitely go again. I just wish they were closer. I had no problem visiting prior to the Pandemic because we were working hybrid Office/Home. Now we're full time remote and I hardly go to that area. Highly recommend anyone to stop by a give them a try.

Nice Monday night surprise! Impromptu dinner out and so glad we did! Everything was yummy and fresh, start to finish! Servers were attentive and the food came out fast. Atmosphere is fun and colorful....but the lights definitely need a little dimmer....sooo bright at the end of a long day.

Enjoyed our meal here. There are lots of Mexican restaurants around, this one is on par, not the best, not the worst. The lighting is very bright, a little too bright. Service was impeccable! We got flautas and carnitas, both tasty. Food came out very fast which was nice. Chips and salsa served to start which is always appreciated :) we'll definitely be back to this cute place.

From the salsa and guac to the burritos and tamales and more. Probably the most authentic food I have experienced since moving East.

Another rendition of this fast growing Mexican cucina on York Road, Hatboro. The space is small,…read morewith dining area in front window and another in back connected by a narrow hallway with room for a few hightops. Simple decor and straightforward street food menu (tacos, burritos, quesadillas, tortas, etc.). I was in the mood for a Torta Milanesa (steak). It arrived less than ten minutes later. The beef was breaded and fried, with melted white cheese, jalapeño, grilled onion, lettuce and tomato; packed into a basic kaiser roll. It was surprisingly heavy and a bit slick from the oil the steak was cooked in. I cut it in half and commenced to consume. The steak was an easy chew and all its participants contributed well to my enjoyment. Filled me for the rest of the day. The Tamarindo drink was housemade - very sweet, yet with a sour final note. Very good and refreshing. Service provided by a young gentleman who seemed to be running the house this Sunday afternoon. He was busy, but stopped by a couple of times to check on my satisfaction. I provided a solid report. El Limon (The Lemon) has a simple successful formula for their expanding empire. Make it basic and comfortable, both in decoration and cuisine. Avoid unnecessary glitter and tourista painted tables and chairs, and remain true to your roots. With 30 shops and counting in the Montco/Bucks region, they know what they are doing. 4 Estrellas d'Oro!

So, it's been awhile since I had an authentic taco. After living in the Bay Area tacos are more…read morecommon than grabbing pizza or a burger I'd say and I had a hankering. I had been in the hospital and after binging Anthony Bourdain's (R.I.P) shows while there I felt like something I dunno; to remind me of home or feel like I was on some kinda travel adventure. I researched some spots nearby and El límon caught my eyes as it had a similar name of a place I used to frequent back in Cali. As soon as I was discharged from the hospital I drove right over. There is pretty ample street parking in Hatboro and I believe you may be able to park in a lot nearby but don't quote me on that. I came with a big appetite or so I thought. I decided to get a bit of everything. I was greeted with a warm welcome and I told the gentleman it was to go and he gave me a menu and allowed me to take my time. The restaurant is cozy, a few tables and ok decor. As I perused the menu some people came in for takeout and two families sat in to eat. The are was very clean and it also has a stand up dining area/counter. I decided to get 3 tacos, beef, al pastor and Leng's or tongue. I also got a sopa, chicken as I recall, a pork tamale and a Milanese torta or veal. Oh, and also birria beef tacos(3) as they come. My eyes were bigger than my stomach The wait for the food was a bit long but I ordered quite a bit. The pricing I felt was a bit on the more expensive side but what isn't these days so I would say reasonable. Put it this way if you're bringing a date to eat here you could easily spend $50-$100. Not bad right? So, I went back to my place and I did have to reheat some of the food. I had the tacos right away. All were good except the lengua. Lengua is on of my favs and this one did not have that soft gelatinous texture I was looking for. It may have been a bit overcooked. The birria tacos were awesome! Great flavor with the sauce, slightly chewy but I expected that from the beef. Now the sopa I only had a bite and ate the rest the next day as so with the tamale. The sopa was a bit dry but the toppings were as expected including the cojita cheese. The tamale was pretty good again this is reheated food. It was also Slightly dry at the ends but the middle and filling (pork) was alright. The pork was not as tender as I expected but not bad. Now the torta was pretty good, I had everything on mine. It was hard to eat despite that but I couldn't recognize it as veal per se. It also had a sauce on it that I was not familiar with. Flavor-wise it was good and I wish I had started on it early on. The meals do come with sides of sauces salsa roja from peppers and verde from tomatillos. They were a great accompaniment to the dishes. I didn't get my feeling of homesickness or nostalgia fulfilled but I got a good meal. This place seams to be a local fav and I can see why. I've since been again and so the same. I hope they improve on those tacos de lengua. Also I steamed the tamale the next time I got one and the masa was a bit more tender but the pork not as much. I recommend this place if you have a Mexican food craving, a night out with friend or the family; also not a bad date spot. Oh, I forgot to mention they do have a great assortment of Mexican soda and I believe they make horchata and Jamaica too. Looks like a reason for me to go one more time. So, if you are in the Hatboro area and it's just about meal time drop into El límon for some good eats and a siesta afterwards!
