We have been coming here for over twenty-five years. The food and service have always been exceptional!

Entrees were excellent for my wife and I and friends, Flan and Tres Leches were exceptionally good with cinnamon flavored coffee.

Everything tasted fresh and super flavorful, and the portions were solid. We tried a couple different plates (chilaquiles, eggs/beans, steak) and it all hit, nothing greasy, just really tasty. Even the French toast was a win. We'll 100% be back. read more

We ate here on Saturday August 16, 2025. We have been here a few times, and I need to put in a more frequent rotation for dinner! Food is outstanding as always. We ate on the back patio for the first--had great ambiance for an early Saturday evening dinner. The enchiladas and bisteces encebollados were prepared perfectly and served promptly. I only went for the happy hour so I cannot talk about anything else beyond that. There is ample parking and although the outside looks a little suspect the inside is fairly welcoming and bright. The happy hour is only served at the bar and the prices are pretty reasonable. I had two house margaritas which had a pretty distinct flavor - they were each $7 and then they have discounted small bites. I got the empanada which was really good as well as a carnitas taco - also fairly good. I believe they were $3 each rounding my total out to $20. The waiter / bartender was nice and we received a lot of attention when we first got there as it got busier that definitely dissipated and we ordered things that were forgotten about. Overall I think the happy hour is the way to go based off other reviews and their regular menu prices. read more

Isn't it interesting that the service can either make or break an experience? Well, this is a happy story and was a pleasant experience from the moment we walked through the door of the restaurant. We were greeted by the floor manager who was friendly and asked if we had a table preference. I had made a reservation earlier over the phone as the online system wasn't working. We sat at our preferred booth and were soon greeted by our server, Imanol. He was so friendly, helpful and courteous throughout our meal. I even commented to my wife how nice he was. We asked a few questions and ordered our drinks and the tuna tar tar appetizer. The atmosphere is warm and the tables spread out enough to not feel crowded. My wife said her La Luna margarita was on point and definitely a repeat. The tuna tar tar had a nice spicy sauce on the plate and was a great starter. It was served with fresh tortilla chips. I rode the Carne Regia and she had the Flautas. Both of our dishes were flavorful and large servings. The steak had a tasty marinade and it was a great option to avoid rice. Towards the end of our meal I believe the manager or owner stopped by to ask if everything was okay. I said no (his face changing as he quickly moved closer to hear my concern) as I said it was fabulous. His smile immediately returned to his face as he wished us a good evening. I am so impressed with my first visit, cant understand why this was my first visit? This place is first class and my lunch was fantastic! They have great lunch specials that include a soup or salad. I had a grouper lunch special and it was fabulous, the veggies were delicious as was the grouper. The spices the grouper was cooked in were unique and delicious, loved it! The chicken tortilla soup was definitely not what I was expecting but very good. It was basically chicken in a bowl with tortilla strips , I would not recommend this and get the other soup option or the salad. Some chopped up vegetables would have made this soup better. The chips and salsa are top notch as was the side of hot sauce I ordered, delicious and super hot! I cannot believe I have been here until today! Absolutely delicious meal this evening. 4 of us (including a kid) ate at Los Sarapes and we all absolutely loved our food. We started with the guacamole, which was fantastic. Our friend had a berry margarita and loved it. I had the ensalada Los Sarapes with beef - it was amazing. The carrots, Brussels sprouts, and broccoli were absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. My husband had enchiladas with grouper and our friend had the ahi tuna. My daughter had the kids bean and cheese burritos and devoured it lol. Unique and delicious food. We had dinner at Los Sarapes. It was a beautiful fall evening and we were seated outside. The patio was spacious and we really enjoyed the ambiance Excellent service. Family has been going to Los Sarapes for over a decade. Candidly, I miss the old location in the horsham strip mall, as the atmosphere was more cozy, intimate, and classy--like you were eating in somebody's home. When Los Sarapes moved across the street, they lost a bit of their charm as now the restaurant is huge and always bustling. Still, the food has stayed the consistent and delicious. The Mexican dishes feel authentic (the mole is the best I've had in all of Philly!) and everything is always well-executed. Prices are a bit high for the suburbs and service can be slow sometimes (especially if you come on a weekend), but there truly is no better Mexican food in horsham. 4/5 stars. read more

Had dinner here tonight after my granddaughter's soccer tournament. Growing up in Texas, I'm used to tortilla chips and salsa brought to the table before the order is placed, so not having that was a disappointment. Mixed feelings about the kids' meals being brought out so quickly. It kept them from getting cranky while waiting, but then they were bored and looking for trouble while the adults ate. The food was very good, and plated nicely, and the portions were large. It was loud, which was probably just as well because younger grandson did a fair amount of shouting but I don't think it bothered anyone outside our table. read more

This restaurant has become a favorite for our friends- and after a few months of trying to coordinate our calendars- we finally met up here for dinner. Service was quick, everyone was friendly. We started with the guacamole and house made chips which were great. I was watching carbs and went with a salad with grilled protein. Everyone was happy with their food. mmmm....this dining experience for our group most definitely did not match other reviews! Our 10-person family group was there very recently for a late-afternoon Sunday dinner, and only the tacos received a passing grade. Generally speaking, food was dry, unflavored, and ill-presented. And pricey, to boot. Waitstaff seemed hurried, with one waitress unprofessionally responding to a simple request for water. All in all, I'm hoping that Sunday was a one-off, and this restaurant finds its Sunday footing. read more

We got taken here for my wife's birthday dinner. You know the saying if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all? Well, I won't say nothing but there are definitely a lot of other "Mexican" eateries in the area that taste better and are a lot more affordable.
