The fact that the food was delicious was great too! They really are state of the art. I have vertigo and can't do much exercise, that did not prove to be a problem either! I have been off the program for several months and I'm thrilled! Thank you so much SOTA for helping me!

I found that the breakfast cereal and pancakes were great and still eat those. I also liked the milkshakes and pudding and the protein bars. I added cauliflower rice to all of the lunch soups. I also purchased salmon and grilled chicken patties to add to meal prep. I also have green beans etc. I ate eggs and bacon a few days a week. I also felt that the cost of the program forced me to stay very diligent and nearly completely adherent. I refused to waste my money. The staff was very, very supportive. I would send a screen shot of my weight.

Wow! I'm shocked everyone hasn't given Nicholson Clinic 5 stars…read more My experience throughout the whole process has been amazing. I was truly skeptical, my PCP had been really serious with me the last three years about having weight loss surgery, I refused due to all the horror stories I had heard / witnessed. When asked, "Did they do exactly as the doctor told them?", my answer was no, they hadn't. I agreed to research the process and make a decision. I visited Dr. Long at the Nicholson Clinic, he told me I was a good candidate for the surgery, but there was no hard sales press, no pressure, it would be up to me. I explored it, did all the required steps and determined if I really wanted to live a healthier life, this would be the tool for me. I started my pre-op diet at 294, and in less than 4 months I'm down 66 pounds and feeling better than I have since probably my 20's - I'm 53. I've done exactly what they've said, and it's the best decision I've ever made for my health. No more blood pressure medicine, knees don't hurt all the time anymore, I can buckle my airline seat belt, slide into a booth, sit in any chair, don't snore anymore and am enjoying going from a size 26 jeans to a size 18. I'm about half way or so to my goal, which is to be healthy. Dr. Long is great, Lindsey the Medical Assistant makes you feel like you're with your friend and confidant as she takes all your measurements - kind and not judgy. Adam and Rick are two of the PA's I've seen - so kind and informative!! Candace is there for all your questions via email or facebook, no matter how gross or personal or embarrassing - she also has some amazing videos to help coach you through. Rachel is my patient advocate and has helped with all the pre- and post details I needed with insurance and anything else I've needed. And the office staff is always so friendly and helpful. The waiting room has chairs for bigger folks like I was, so I could sit comfortably, but frankly, my wait wasn't long. My surgery and hospital people were fantastic, and I've followed the steps, and you'll still see me on the Facebook group - and you will see me there for a long time to come. Thanks Nicholson Clinic. You saved and improved my life. I'm eternally grateful.
