From the moment I walked in, the dark-haired woman at the front desk was rude and unwelcoming. I drove 40 minutes for this appointment and paid a $50 consultation fee, so I expected at minimum for my appointment time to be respected. The nurse who brought me back was actually very sweet and professional, and she was the only positive part of the experience. I was taken into a room and then sat there waiting for 40 minutes past my scheduled appointment time, and the doctor still never came in. No one gave me an update or explained why I was waiting so long. At that point, I decided to leave. What made the situation even more frustrating was that the manager came outside after me once I had already walked out and said the doctor was available and asked, "They didn't get you?" That honestly made the situation worse. If the doctor was available, why was I sitting alone in a room for 40 minutes with no communication? I understand doctors can run behind, but this wasn't simply about waiting. it was the lack of communication, organization, and professionalism, especially after paying for the consultation and driving 40 minutes to be there. I came here because I was seriously considering trusting this practice with my surgery. Unfortunately, my experience before I could even meet the doctor made me uncomfortable moving forward.

I have been so extraordinary impressed! In December 2019, I went for an evaluation of my breast implants (placed @ 13 years ago) because I had a concern of the shape. Upon Dr. Giraldo's evaluation, he explained that the 'Tear Drop' shape implants turned causing my shape and size to change. It made perfect sense! Dr. Giraldo further explained all of the types of breast implants and the implants he would recommend for me. I mentioned to Dr. Giraldo that I work out and he advised me on some movements to customize and sport bras to consider. Talk about a plethora of information?!? I left his office with more information than I had questions! Needless to say, I couldn't wait to schedule my surgery! I'm about 3 weeks out now and really haven't missed a beat! While I am being super careful with my upper body movements, I'm back at the gym. Actually, I went back on the 15th day after surgery and back to work on day 7! My recovery has been unbelievably quick and my follow up appointments have all been good. Scaring? No worries here because, Dr. Giraldo has some good ointments to help! Yes. So no I wouldn't dare get surgery done here and would rather go elsewhere. Other than the lying about the consult fee my biggest issue is below. On March 15 and again on March 21, I made requests for my medical records. My interaction with Jennifer Castro regarding this matter was unsatisfactory. Transcarent, a company utilized by my employer, sought access to my medical records, prompting Jennifer to inquire whether I had granted permission for them to receive the records. Despite confirming my consent, Jennifer expressed her belief that it was unethical for Transcarent to make such requests, citing negative reviews of the company. Despite my insistence, Jennifer refused to release the records to Transcarent, insisting that they could only be sent to me. She requested a signed letter matching the signature on file before releasing them. After waiting for days without receiving the records, I followed up with Jennifer, only to discover that she had sent them to the wrong email address, displaying incompetence on her part. Additionally, her unprofessionalism, including criticism of my choice of surgeon and the quality of her company's services, was unwarranted. Despite her tenure, Jennifer's rude behavior warrants attention and resolution.
