I found that the breakfast cereal and pancakes were great and still eat those. I also liked the milkshakes and pudding and the protein bars. I added cauliflower rice to all of the lunch soups. I also purchased salmon and grilled chicken patties to add to meal prep. I also have green beans etc. I ate eggs and bacon a few days a week. I also felt that the cost of the program forced me to stay very diligent and nearly completely adherent. I refused to waste my money. The staff was very, very supportive. I would send a screen shot of my weight.

I spent over $2500 for first 20 pounds over about three months and was then told I needed to pay another $1500 for reach my goal of 200 pounds. I nerver did reach the goal. Overall I did go from 250 lbs. to 213 lbs. in about 6 months. I lost on average about 1.5 poinds per week, not the 4 pounds per week they advertise. As soon as I stopped the program I gained all the weight back within the following six months. The weekly counselling was pretty worthless after a few weeks and became just a weekly check the box where the advisor seemed like she just wanted to get me off the phone as soon as possible. There was absolutely no follow-up provided after my paid period was up. My userid and password would no longer work for their menu website and I never receive any follow-up call and they never returned any of my follow-up calls.

Today, during the preliminary consultation, I told the technician that I wanted to use my personal compounding pharmacy for the semaglutide prescription. The tech said they typically use a handful of pharmacies, but to talk to the doctor. Then, the tech took my payment and I thought we were good. Once I met with the doctor and she prescribed the medication, I was told that they were unable to send the medication to my pharmacy. Prior to the visit, I never read on their website, received an email in regards to, or signed any paperwork that I had to specifically use one of their compounding pharmacies. It was at that time, while speaking with the doctor that I asked for a full refund. She told me a refund would be issued, however, a partial refund was given instead. I have now had to waste even more of my time by disputing the initial deposit through my credit card (they also charge a 4% fee for credit or debit cards), when in fact a reputable business would have graciously issued the full refund immediately, and not make it difficult for the patient. This is a racket and I believe there must be some kind of kickback from the pharmacy or maybe they have a vested interest in these particular pharmacies. Regardless, it shouldn't be an issue to send the prescription to the compounding pharmacy of my choice. If this was not an option, I should I have been told that well in advance. Also, just know the initial cost of visit is $225 ($234 after the $9 credit card fee), plus $180 for a 3 month starter dose of semaglutide. There is a $75/monthly fee from the doctor's office, but on the 4th and 5th month, the cost triples to $180/month for the prescription!!! Ridiculous. Look elsewhere. There are better options available.
