My earliest memories in life from what I recall revolved around appearance. Therefore, weight has always been a big part of my life since forever. She's been such a solid support-not just a dietitian, but like someone who gets it. It feels as if she's not only a dietitian, but also a friend/therapist sometimes because we talk about everything including food, habits, emotions, etc. She listens, doesn't sugarcoat things, and really helps me work through both food and life events because in the end, everything's connected. It's nice to have someone who's young and gets it, could relate to me, and someone give me a different perspective on other things, so it's all super helpful. I'm finally seeing progress, which took forever, but it's happening. **Baby steps matter too as long as you're moving forward** I still have a long way to go, but having someone like Remy on my team makes it all feel a little less overwhelming. This was absolutely the worst experience ever. I drove in from downtown Dallas for a 7am appointment. I arrive to find there is no appointment for me. If you don't like being forced to provide a credit card number to hold your spot because they have " a monthly average of 100+ people that no-show" this isn't the place for you. Though I was told this on my initial call, I hung up and a few moment later I received 2 emails confirming my date and time. I assumed that meant they had made an exception.... A month later (today) - I find out that wasn't the case. I suppose this money driven policy saved me from whatever debacle would've come up next with this company. The changes in my eating from low carb to balanced meals and the increase in frequency from 2x/day to 4-5x/day with no intermittent fasting has been a big adjustment for me and I am still getting used to it.
