I'm sorry, I don't know why some of the folks were beating these guys up. Sure it's a little pricy but everything's fresh, the burgers are fantastic, well seasoned, great buns. I didn't have the fries which seem to be a point of contention for some but the burgers and chicken salad were absolutely fantastic. Comparisons to McDonalds? Are you kidding??? It's not like a McDonald's meal is all that cheap these days anyway, it's over $8 bucks with tax. I'd rather pay a little more for quality than slightly less for processed garbage that's artificially flavored and fossilized like a dinosaur bone. On the universally recognized scale of burger goodness, McDonalds and a frozen patty being at the very bottom, a Diner somewhere in the middle, and a specialty joint somewhere up top....this place is much closer to the top then bottom. I love their brisket, pulled beef egg rolls, and rice krispy chicken. The sauces are amazing. I love the garlic mayo and occasionally the chimichurri. The brisket has a very beefy flavor, and is amazing. The burgers have a unique Middle Eastern taste, and are mixed with spices and bread crumbs, so these may not be for everyone's taste. I still avoid the fries, but I love the brisket, egg rolls, and chicken. read more

They have delicious food, don't get me wrong. When they deliver their burgers are close to charred 99% of the time. Also, it almost always takes over an hour to deliver a burger less than 5 miles away. I would only recommend this place if you do not order to go. Ordered for delivery like I had a million times before. This time, I never got the order, and when I called, the staff was so ridiculously rude to me. When asked to speak to the manager, he was just as rude to me and told me he wasn't going to give me a refund or give me my food. After much yelling (mind you, I'm a professional working in an office environment, so everyone could hear), he said he would send the driver back. The driver magically finds the location now even though they said they couldn't find it earlier (though we've ordered from them plenty of times before...) and was delivered cold food that had been sitting for 2 hours and to top it off, had been made incorrectly. It was honestly humiliating to be treated like this in front of coworkers. My office and I are never ordering from this place again. Ordered food for pickup 3:01pm a lamb wrap Receptionist told me to come in 10 min to pick it up. 3:11 I walk in and ask for my order, it was not even on the grill yet. Waited another 15 min inside while my food was being prepared. Total ticket time 25-30min Price: 13$ and change I had to say thank you 3 times to the receptionist before she can pick her head up and say "Your Welcome" Overall the food was ok for its price and not anything over the top. I could tell you first hand this place is amazing I pretty much lived on this stuff in the summer and it never got old on me. Anything you order it's gonna be great no matter what. What I really enjoy and recommend to all is the rice crispy chicken. the cool thing about it is that they get the chicken straight from the butcher cause they own both so it's extremely fresh and amazing. Just ordered for the first time. I ordered the Jalapeño Burger and fries. While everything was packaged and wrapped very neatly it arrived a bit cold and I was hesitant about the taste. I did use my oven to heat it up about 10 minutes then all was fine. The burger was really delicious and tasted exactly like what I was craving for today. Will order again from here. I've ordered from Retro many times and I absolutely love their chicken sandwiches, fries and different sauces and options they give you. They deliver quickly and the food is always on point! The ONLY reason they didn't get 5 stars is because the last few times I've ordered I've requested one or two different dipping sauces and they didn't put them in the bag. If I want Kosher Meat I generally order from here. Except, it's starting to get rather frustrating ! Seems like when you place an order they choose not to hear you. " fried onions" means regular onions. " Can I have sauces for the burger, fries and. Sandwhich, " sure I'm told. This never happens. This place is KOSHER, when you benchmark please use the other kosher restaurants in the area. That being said, this place is just overall what I would expect from the BEST IN CLASS. Great burger joint. Foods always good. Burgers are always juicy and tasty. They will put any kind of sauce in the universe on any sandwich, but my favorite is the sweet chilli sauce. I put that **** on everything. That is the good. The bad is.... and when I say bad, its not really bad. This place is another one that jams up at night really bad. I ordered from Retro Grill for the first time through Seamless.com. I ordered the crispy chicken strips, pulled beef sandwich and the spicy chicken baguette. Food arrived 70 minutes from when I placed the order. The food was very good and well worth the price they charge. The chicken strips were still crispy when we got our order and the sauces really complimented the food. I would definitely give this establishment more business only next time i might pick up the food myself. read more
