Good service, and a solid final product. I took a motorcycle engine to Resurrection to be cleaned up and painted, and it came out great. Will be returning with future projects. They asked me my budget before the work was done and seemed confident. Update: Moving the motorcycle engine out of the back of the car and putting it on a cart with a rubber mat sloughed off paint on the bottom and fins of the engine. Nothing insanely bad, touched it up myself, but I'm disappointed. If I had the money, I would have it repainted completely. The engine paint that Resurrection did needed serious touch-up's before it made it in my shop, and there's a pretty noticeable imperfection in a very noticeable place on the crank case. Not pointing a finger at the shop, but I imagine more prep time might have made the critical difference. I guess this is one more reason why I normally have things powder coated... read more

This company painted my Monte Carlo a couple years ago and it's the worst paint job. The paint has been peeling and they were supposed to fix all the dents and they didnt. The paint has peeled all the way down to metal. I would NEVER take a vehicle to this company. The owner has known about the horrible paint job and has done nothing to make it right. read more

Worst mistake of my life. Took my '77 Celica in for a "restoration". Painted engine wrong color. Even though I brought them the color I wanted, Shawn (The owner) decides he doesn't like the color I chose so he paints it orange. Then they paint the engine compartment the wrong color as well as the car itself. I asked him to paint my car the color it was when I bought it to him. He decides to take the paint code off the engine compartment and paint it the original color. Obviously he doesn't be have a color scanner like most professional paint shops have. While doing body work in wheel well they ground down the top of a tire. Shawn said he'd pay for, (didn't pay for mounting and balancing of that tire) but because they don't make that tread design I have to buy three more, that I didn't need. Side moldings don't line up to each other. Had sanding scratches all over top of car and and all down the front of the hood on passenger side. Deep scratches on rear trunk. So many paint runs I can't count them all. Replaced front windshield, leaks like a river. Today is the fist day it's rained since I've got my car back. Still leaks. Told me they fixed it but obviously didn't do shit. Three oil leaks weren't addressed. Shawn suggested they take out heater core to have recored. Broke it taking it out so had to be welded to fix damage. They couldn't find anyone to recore it so they just reinstalled it. That bit of waste cost me over $600.00. Destroyed my glove box when they removed it. When they removed front glass they took my antenna from my alarm that was glued to the window. Now alarm doesn't work and had to replace entire unit. My $1500.00 sound system isn't re wired properly and is now not working. When I told them my car THUMPED when starting they didn't fix. It was loose motor mounts they failed to tighten down. I took my car back to them after I picked it up and gave them a list of things, including those mentioned here. They had it over six months. I had to go to a local mechanic in Tacoma and get engine wiring diagram because they didn't know how to wire it back up. It's a simple 20R four cylinder engine that they had rebuilt! Broke the control arm off my side mirror. This is the fourth time I've had my car painted over the 40 years I've had it. Without a doubt the worst paint job. More paint runs than I can count. When I point these runs out to Shawn ( the owner and painter) he shrugged it off and said "you just have extra protection there"! Striping on hood doesn't even come close to lining up with continuation on body in front of window. Rubber molding on front bumper is supposed to fit under car frame. It's all bent and doesn't fit correctly. Oh yeah, the day they told me to come pick up my car, when I went to dive it home the headlights didn't work. The windshild wipres didn't work. Car wouldn't run. I got there at ten in the morning and they close at five. He kept me and his crew there till nine at night trying to get me outa there. Like I said, took my car back a week later with a list of twenty things that need to be fixed. They fixed front bumper that was all bent up, and put in some rubber under front wheel well because they removed the cowling and rainwater was spraying into my front door on driver's side. I could go on but you get the point. I gave him at time frame and an upper dollar figure I was willing to pay. Took twice as long and twice as much money. Kinda hard to stop when they have you car completely disassembled. My car sat for three months over the summer while they worked on more importan t jobs. When I told Shawn I need my car in six more weeks he actually stood there with some co workers and laughed at me, like that's not gonna happen. And it didn't. Over $60,000 and still counting! Couldn't even get an itemized bill to know exactly what I was paying for. Still has my Chilton's car manual he still has yet to returned. RUN! DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. Amateurs all! I sent them email 3 times asking for a quote on a Honda 2009 Ridgeline, and they haven't responded to my email. Also commented on their website and no response. Not very proactive Business. I guess they don't want my business. Have to look somewhere else. read more

Worst mistake I have ever made in choice of an auto body shop! Shawn is a great con man. Sent my classic car in for an all over paint job. I stripped the car down to a metal box on wheels, removed the engine, all of the wiring etc, etc. only left the glass in place. The agreement a few weeks earlier was that Mr. Patrick would pick up the car at my house in an enclosed trailer, repair the rotten roof panel and was to include re-installing all of the glass using all new rubber which I provided, was supposed to take 6-8 weeks and to quote him I was going to get a paint job that would "stand up and win ANY show -n-shine you want to enter it in". The roof was repaired with a roof panel that I had to procure and deliver to him because he was not able to find one in the week he spent looking for it. I found one, had to go buy a battery powered sawzall then go back to the wrecking yard to get the roof panel, deliver it to him, took me 5 hours, including travel time (I live in Tacoma). The car did get painted. Runs and sags and orange peel like you can't believe. Then all work stopped. That was week 6. I asked him countless times along about week 12, 14, 15, 18 and so on "since I have paid for the job why are you NOT working on my car?" The list of pure bold face lies and excuses was endless. Then the numerous vacations that had to be taken. Another car would show up in his shop, "That one was promised 6 months ago, I have to work on it now". Finally at week 18 he said "you can come on down and pick up your car Saturday, we are staying late on Friday to get the last few things done". I don't know how late they stayed but after renting a trailer in Tacoma and going to Olympia only to find no glass installed, parts missing, car not even put together, still covered in the "run and sag" paint job I turned around and left. The following week, again Mr. Patrick was gone on another vacation, I rented a trailer, went back to Olympia, loaded the car and took it to the professional body and paint shop I should have started with. They are known for their quality repairs and excellent customer service. It took 2 weeks for the new shop to re-paint the whole car, cost me half of what Resurrection wanted. I can't drive that car anywhere without someone taking the time to ask about the great paint job. I gladly tell them who painted it and which shop to avoid at all costs. read more

I took my 2011 GMC Sierra Denali HD to fix my front left fender and he did a horrible job. I( bought the fender, headlight assembly and a passenger side door hinge that also needed replacing. I purchased all the parts at the dealership so they were factory parts. I dropped off the parts to the shop and brought my truck back a couple of days later and he said that he already painted the fender guessing what the color would be. The color didn't match and there was a lot of orange peel. The gaps between the fender and the hood and the fender and the door were all messed up and the hinge wasn't installed not to mention the LED lights that were in the original lights he didn't put back in. I took it back to show him and he said he would fix it so I dropped it off again. came back to pick it up and the door would barely close, the gaps were worse so I took it to another shop to adjust the door and he didn't even put the right bolts back in. Now I'm taking it back to the second shop to spend another 1000.00 dollars to get it fixed perfect. They are also going to check if it's the same fender I purchased at the dealership. First of all, let's talk about this business owners business practices... I brought my Z06 to him for a quote and he quoted me 4K. The car had a 5 foot paint job and just need a little paint correction. After he had the car for a week and had blown it completely apart, he wanted to "talk price". He dropped a quote on me for 7K! We agreed on 6k, but agreed that he would fix anything I wanted fixed. The car looked great when I went to the shop and paid the final bill. However, when I got the car off the flatbed at my house the next day, it was pouring rain. I got the car in the garage and started drying it off and it had wet sanding scratches all over it. I also found numerous spots where somebody had burned through the clear coat with a buffer. When I called Sean to see when he could fix it, he was always "too busy" or the shop had "too many projects" in it. So, we agreed that he would call me when he had time. Well, that was three months ago. A couple of weeks ago I got fed up after trying to call him and getting a fax machine and voice mailbox full and just resprayed the car myself, which is what I should have done in the first place.
