The test was not fair: detail the interior of my car. You know, the interior that merits a federal disaster declaration. Pet hair, spilled orange drink, crumbs galore. This business was up to the challenge. The owner is clearly a professional who takes tremendous pride in her service. I don't remember my car looking that good when I first bought it. Fair warning: you will never want to eat, drink, or take your dog for a ride in your newly detailed vehicle again. I was riddled with guilt the next morning getting my dirty chai from the coffee stand. You have to go far above and beyond to earn a 5 star rating from me. My wife surprised me with service by Wicked Detailing and it's like we've got a whole new vehicle! While our Elantra didn't look completely gross from the outside, years of grime were taking their toll inside. Cat and her team went into overdrive to deep clean every nook and cranny. Called for a detail on my brand new car, they told me come right over and then told me they couldn't do it for a month or more? After I left, they call me an tell me they can fit me in a week later for $250.00. Also attempted to sell me a ceramic coating done in his unkept unsealed unprepared garage and said he would charge me $100 an hour to pre-polish my brand new car, but when I saw the ceramic coating he did on his very own Dodge SUV parked out front, I knew I didn't want that highly spotty uneven coating on my brand new beautiful Supercar. Some poor sucker with a C8 pulled in behind me for a ceramic coating but oblivious to the poor example of this guy's work sitting on the street. His beautiful paint job is about to be covered in wavy blobs. Since his car was the same color as the Dodge SUV, I tried to warn him but he thought he was too good to acknowledge I was even speaking to him (his wife was very nice) so I left him to his fate. I'm updating this review because Wicked Detailing has gone above and beyond on ensuring my car is well taken care of. I called Wicked to schedule a full detail on my car because I moved to CA to take care of my nephew, but my nephew completely trashed my 2013 Escape with juice/milk stains and crumbs. Wicked cleaned up my car like it's brand new leaving me beyond impressed every single time. A few months passed and I unfortunately decided to start selling my Escape since I can no longer drive. Since my car's still clean from the the last detail, the only other task was to clean the engine. I was about to drop it off until I noticed my car won't start and needs to be jumped. John and I texted back and fourth until he came to my house to help. John popped the hood and quickly got my car running again. These guys literally just left my house not too long ago. I wish I took photos before they touched my SUV. The headlights were yellowed, there was stain all over my carpets, water spots everywhere, pet hair, crumbs from my kid, etc. I had just come to accept that this vehicle was going to kind of be my "dirty car", and so I had never had it detailed before but I figured I would treat myself and crossed my fingers that it would just be "acceptably clean" when they were done. I really wish I would have take. Before and after pictures ;( they did an amazing job! My car was so dirty because of my dogs hair and I got lazy over time and stopped cleaning. My keep looks like I just pulled it out of the dealership again. I love it. It smells amazing. I'm really happy with the results I got. Some reviews said they were rude and tried over pricing. They were really nice and respectful. It was supposed to be 200 but they finished a lot faster than they expected and only charged me 175 which is really good considering how dirty my car was. The only thing I didn't like is how long they took to get to my house. Other than that I would really recommend this place. Very unprofessional. I received a call the day of my appointment that they needed to reschedule for the weekend. Okay no problem. I show up on time to the listed location and even called leaving several messages. They didn't answer or even return my call until way later from another phone number. Didn't acknowledge my appointment or even apologize for the unprofessional situation. They could've still offered to do the job they said they would do. I still would've driven back there and paid them but they just didn't care. Waste of my time, gas, and energy. read more

I'm not sure why this business only has 4 stars. Wicked Detailing is AWESOME. My 2005 Toyota 4-Runner was in DIRE need of a cleaning. The last time I got it "professionally" (in quotes because I could have probably done a better job than they did) detailed was over 4 years ago. The outside of my car looked awful - more grey than white, headlights were completely opaque, just horrible. The inside - well, lets just say I have a 3-year-old who likes to snack constantly. Crumbs, juice spills, french fries, dust, you name it. Bottom line, it's an 11-year-old car that looks and smells its age. Not good. I did my homework before deciding to go with Wicked Detailing. I called around to a few places and John was by far the most knowledgeable - he knows his car stuff! Their prices were comparable to other detailing businesses in the Lacey/Olympia area (he quoted me $250 for my SUV). The best part? He offered to come to my house to do the detailing! As a parent with a child in a car seat, this is amazing - figuring out how to get home, pick up the car, and deal with car seat issues is such a hassle. John and two ladies arrived right on time. He went over every inch of my car with me to explain what he could do. He said there was a chance that I could pay an additional $25 depending on the work he had to do, which I was more than fine with. They got to work with all their own tools they brought. Three hours later - my car looks BRAND NEW. Seriously. It's amazing. The white is SHINING (you can actually see all the little scratches and dents now that were once covered in dirt!). The headlights are CRYSTAL CLEAR. I have no idea how they did it. It's incredible. And the inside? IMPECCABLE. It could seriously pass for new. And the SMELL! The old, musty smell is gone - it smells so incredibly fresh and clean. I told my husband it looked brand new and he didn't believe me. Well, his jaw dropped when he got home and he looked over every inch of it in disbelief. He can't wait to get his car detailed by them too! They are worth every single penny. Trust me, I'm not easily impressed and I'm pretty hard on businesses - I expect great work and great customer service. Wicked Detailing delivered. Bought the living social deal- called after the holidays (duh, who calls around Christmas and New Years and actually expects immediate service) got my date and they came and cleaned two cars. I had to wait a bit after purchasing, but hey- it got done today! Cars looked incredible. I mean every crevice was cleaned out and looked immaculate. They got some major pet stains, dog barf, pet hair and who knows what else out of my car. I paid exactly what I was quoted. Amazing deal. Especially since we're all on here checking this because we are TOO lazy to clean our own cars. The fact that yelp is filtering these reviews and making this company look shady really makes me doubt the validity and accuracy of yelp and all it's "devout" followers. I backed into a white-painted post with my red car and it left a horrible paint mark stretching from the tail light all the way to the bottom of my car. I feared that it was going to be a pricey fix. I did a little research with some detailing companies in the area but none were as positively revered as Wicked Detailing. I called them up and made an appointment. They quoted me at $125 for my small sedan and the quote stayed true. They will come to you if you have access to water/power. Living in an apartment, I did not. I travelled to them. We did have trouble finding it because it was in a housing development but we called up John and he was happy to help us find them. Dropped the car off for an exterior detail and in about two hours it was ready. I was absolutely AMAZED when I saw my car! I couldn't believe how awesome it looked! John was able to get all the paint off (thankfully) and had the rest of the car/tires just SHINING! Will definitely be returning for an interior detail soon and although the product he uses for the exterior detail can last an extremely long time, I almost hope it doesn't so I can go back and visit Wicked Detailing again soon! read more

Bought a living social coupon a few months back. Finally called for an appointment. They got me in 2 weeks from the time I called. They did a fantastic job on the two cars they worked on. Quick and professional. They tripped my breakers a few times until we figured out where to plug the vacuums in to. They only lost a star because they didn't bring the chemicals to remove the tree sap from my car. They did, however, tell me what I could get at an auto parts store to do it myself, or offered to have me come by their business to take care of it. I recommend them. read more

I had a great experience with Wicked. I'm NOT good at keeping my car clean and am getting it ready to sell. I took it in needing carpets shampooed, there was green algae or something growing on the rubber strips that the windows come up through, and it had sap spots in the roof. They cleaned all of this up, and more. The car was shiny as it could have been, they got in all the cracks and crevices. They were great to deal with. I called up on fairly short notice to reschedule my appointment and they happily accommodated me. I've gotten my cars detailed at a couple locations and this is the best! This is the second time I've used their services and the quality was consistent both times. They get into all the books and crannies of the car so it's not just a basic detail. For the complaints about customer service and timing: the first time I booked it was in the summer and I bought an Amazon local deal. It took two days for them to call me back and I had to wait almost three months to get an appointment. But that's what I get for trying to book a car detailing with a cupon in June in Washington. Everyone booked for the same time. They did honor my cupon after the expiration date. The second time I called it was in December and they called me back in less than 15 minutes and I had an appointment for the following week. They didn't answer right away but it's a small business and they work out of their home so I don't expect or need them to answer. For the complaints about them charging extra: I have a 7 seater SUV and a sedan. I paid an extra $25 plus tax for the SUV but it is still cheaper than any other place I've been to. I keep my cars fairly clean but I have two, soon to be three kids so they're not perfect. My advice is to be realistic on the quality. They don't work magic so if your car is filthy or has big stains they might not be able to get them all out but that's reality. They will however spend the time to address all areas of your car and get out more stains than the other more commercial businesses I've been to. Final point is on location. They work out of their home which could be less convenient since there's no waiting room. I scheduled my visits on a day I could drop both cars off and take off for a couple hours. If you plan it in advance, you'll be fine. It sounds like there are new owners as my review is different than the ones from years past. Bottom line is I think they do a good job and I would recommend them to anyone wanting a car detail in Thurston County. read more

Like the other reviewers, I also purchased a voucher in early 2013 for two complete auto details. It was obvious they were overwhelmed by the response. I had to book the service out several months. On the plus side, they came to my home and did both cars at the same time. The mobile service was very convenient as a mom to two small children. On the negative side, one of our cars still smelled of wet dog (from previous owner's dog) and there was some dog hair left after the detailing. I have shopped around and you cannot beat the price for the voucher deal. Most vendors charge $150-250 per car for the same kind of detailing package. So I decided to give them another chance. This time it was a shorter turn around time - about a month to schedule a weekend appointment. Instead of mobile service which could take 2-3 hours per car, you take your car to their home and you switch cars after about an hour. The owner said they hired 2 more people. The quality of the job was much better and the cars "felt" cleaner inside and out. The only drawback of taking the cars to a place of business is having to remove kiddos and carseats from one car and then the other. However, that would be an issue when you take a car to any detailing business. Overall, the experience the second time was much better. If you are in the Lacey/Olympia area, I would recommend Wicked Detailing. read more

Wicked Detailing did a phenomenal job on my new to me 2012 4 Runner. When I purchased this a few weeks ago I knew it needed some paint work done. Its Black, and the previous owners repeatedly ran it through the car was and had really dulled out the finish. The team at wicked spent countless hours refinishing the paint, perfecting it in ways I never expected. Then finished it off with a ceramic coating package, as well as a complete interior detail that restored the entire interior. My 2012 Runner looks like it was just purchased off a showroom floor. I have a 12 year old black civic I always have had trouble making look clean and they did a great job polishing up the paint and getting the inside immaculate. While the detail was average, the customer service and hassle of putting up with a condescending attitude was not worth it. I even asked them to give me my money back and we can just forget about the whole thing but they wouldn't do it.
