I was sideswiped by a plumbing truck and had damage to my driver's side rear quarter panel, running board, and wheel. My insurance company wanted me to take the truck to one of their shops in Olympia, but I wanted to keep it closer to home and support a local business. I chose Perfect Reflections and am glad I did. Jason was easy to work with, kept me well informed, and fought with the insurance company to get my repair as close to fully covered as possible. Because his labor rates are a little higher than those of their contracted shops, I had a small out-of-pocket cost in addition to my deductible, but he did a beautiful job on the repair. Run away fast! Jason is a jerk, rude and condescending. Long insurance delays because they do not submit correctly because they do not agree with the online terms and conditions. Whatever that means. And then Jason blamed me! They put the SAME original broken headlight and scratched parts back on my car and charged my insurance for them! What at scam. I was told the owner, Robert, "retired" immediately after I dropped my car off, leaving only the manager Jason to deal with. Very unprofessional. read more

I had what I thought was a small accident, as I could only see some paint damage, windshield & tire. As it turned out it was much more extensive than what could be seen. I worked with this company 20 years ago and this is where I felt comfortable going back. As usual, the insurance company didn't like the final bill and refused to pay. Bob insisted that the work he provided was necessary and the complete bill was paid, less my $ 250 deductible. The car outside was beautiful and it was also cleaed on the inside. I was brand new to Shelton and asked a long time resident where to get my car fixed. He said Perfect Reflections, by the Gillis Auto Center, so that's where I went. Bob greeted me cordially and wasted no time taking pictures of my damage, while simultaneously listening to my concerns about costs. He was very understanding of my budget and did not try to sell me some expensive artistic vision of perfection. He quoted me exactly what I asked for, mismatched door and all. The parts arrived quicker than expected. The work was done quicker than I expected, in a morning while I waited. And finally, most importantly, the quality of the work exceeded my expectations. This is the most unprofessional auto body shop I've ever been to. I drove up and parked and was the only car in the parking lot. I entered the business and a man with a mustache leaned out an open office and stated to me he'd be right with me. As I stood at the counter, another customer drove up and two men came inside and sat in the waiting area. Then another couple drove up and came in and sat down. At no time did the man with the mustache greet the other two customers. He just sat in the room and continued to have a discussion with what sounded like another man. As I continued to stand at the counter, the couple left the shop and got into their car and drove away. I could hear the other two customers complaining about the lack of customer service. After waiting approximately ten minutes, I left the shop and drove away. This shop has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I would think twice about having my car repaired by them when they treat their customers like crap, I can only imagine the horrible job they would do on their customers vehicles. BEWARE! read more

Recently, I used this business to repair my new Toyota 4 runner. They took about 3 weeks to repair 2 windows and small dent. That would've been OK except the fact that Bob kept telling me my truck is ready and to come pick it up over and over and then sent me away for another couple hours which then turned into another few days and another two weeks. He said his vendor brought the wrong part, and one excuse after another. So, the work was ok but I'll never recommend them. He took zero responsibility for the misinformation, wasting my time on the timeline, which had adverse affects on my job And transportation. read more

I had some paint bubbling on the underside of my lift gate on my suburban. Apparently this is common for these gates. I got some quotes from around town ($600-$700 was the average) and Perfect Reflections was my last stop for a quote. I met with Bob the owner and he explained to me that I could have the work done but it would most likely come back because it's a design flaw issue. He asked how mechanically inclined we were and upon our assurance that we tackle most mechanical tasks ourselves he suggested a DIY method using POR-15 since my black suburban was a great match for the black POR-15 color and the damage is completely out of sight. With the location of the damage a DIY repair is much more practical financially and after researching the product Bob suggested I feel confident this is the right route to take. I appreciate the fact that Bob was more interested in a practical solution than making a dollar!! I'll be back in the future if I have any auto body needs. read more

Great customer service and fixed my car to my liking after another shop messed it up more. Would most def recommend

I visited their shop last week to obtain an estimate to repair some loose panels on the rear of our car created by slowly sliding on an icy street into a drainage ditch. The facility was clean and the people very friendly. They looked at the loose panels and were able to make the repairs on the spot. Luckily for us the panels were plastic and not dented. it was only the anchor pieces and some minor straightening of attaching brackets. Job was completed quickly and with a smile. I could not have asked for better service or a fairer price. I recommend they be strongly considered if you need auto body service. read more
