Perfection. Paintless removal of door ding. I have a brand new Mazda 6 with the complicated three-stage "crystal metallic" (candy apple) "Soul Red" paint that is VERY hard to repaint, so i was VERY afraid. Cameron responded quickly to my email. I sent him a couple photos of ding, he said it was fixable. Scheduled for a few days later here in Seattle at my dealership. He was prompt, friendly. Mixed feelings. Our 2 week old car got a chip in the paint. Fortunately it was small. Being a new car, it bugged me just the same. I made an in person appointment and the guy said he could touch it up. It was so small, there probably would no, or minimal, charge. Well, there was no charge. But the chip had a minimal touch up...as in ...it is virtually as large as when I brought it in. There is no such thing as a free lunch, I guess. read more

I parked my 2020 50th Anniversary Dodge Challenger too close to a guardrail and got a dimple sized paint removal along the door with some paint transfer. Prior, a rock flew up and hit my hood causing a chip in the satin paint. At another place using Dodge specifications I was quoted 2733.07 for the paint scrape and 1080.30 for the hood. Morgan K. quoted me 975.00 for the paint and 550.00 for the hood -- all done in 1 day actually 4.5 hours vs. Two weeks of a car rental on top of my 3813.37, which would be what, 5000.00 ball park? As an author who writes murder mysteries I make a habit of choosing names of friends who want to be characters even when I murder them! It's all in fun so, I joke about people who piss me off to murder in my books, While I haven't had a character named "Morgan," yet, as I create my fourth novel, and since he did a fantastic job in doing exactly what was quoted to perfection, a fictional character named "Morgan" just might survive my fictional blood bath storytelling... Even with covid era, they were on time and to the minute. Was a bummer not to be able to get loaner car this time but that's the way it goes during a pandemic. They've done work for me before like when we hit a deer on the highway, and their work has been excellent once again. I took my car in this week to get two small rim rashes fixed and some very superficial scratches (courtesy of the BMW dealer putting my car through their car wash) repaired on the hood. The good: Very courteous and got rid of the rashes. Not so good: Left buffer trails on the hood, some residue on the back of the the wipers (polishing compound?), a scratch was still there, and there were some new scratches on the front end where somebody obviously had either leaned over and rubbed against it, or dragged cords over it . When I picked up the car I had to ask to see it before paying, and I was disappointed. For 500 clams I expected more. End result, I took it to a detail shop to get the scratch rubbed out. read more

Someone dinged and scratched the my driver side passenger door in an unusual spot ..not your ordinary car door ding but what seemed to be by something that could have been done by a swinging car seat, stroller or something else that was carelessly carried. My insurance wouldn't cover something like that because it was less than the deductible, so I was going to be out of pocket on this one. People have no idea of personal financial situations. I can't really afford car repair of this type yet some schmoe is careless of other my property to damage it. Really some freaking nerve. I know whoever did it had to know they hit my car because it had to make some kind of noise. I bet they got the heck out of dodge for fear of being seen. I have choice words for people like them. Anyway, soon as I came home I contacted my car dealership asking of they could suggest someone who does a good job for my kind of vehicle scar. I called these guys but they weren't available on a Sunday so on Monday Don Livingston called me back. I explained what happened, took pics and asked if I could text them over so he could quote me a price for repair. He reviewed the pics I texted him, messaged me back and said it was a peculiar spot near a bend in the door and not on the flat surface which would require special care with some special sized rollers. Apparently if you get a ding or dent just hope it's the flat part of the door and not where mine was located. It was going to cost me just over $200 plus tax. I couldn't stand looking at it every single day so I made the appointment for the following day. Lucky for me the scratched area was not as deep as we initially thought, and the blue paint was easily wiped away with a solution. You couldn't tell there was ever any ding and scratch when the repair was complete. I wasn't going to be able to wait for Don to do the repair, he was able to drive me home and pick me up, but that was only because I lived so close. Dons repair location was here in Fife WA next to the Nissan of Fife Dealership, so I was happy he was about 1 mile from me. Their main office is in Olympia and they have a different profile for that location. I had to create a profile specific for the here. Don was done with the fix in about 1.5-2 hours. Excellent care and service all the way around. Highly recommend them if you have rock chips, scratches, and dings. I know I would use them again. read more
