Very disappointed. I do not recommend. They didn't do everything that was quoted to the insurance company but it appears the insurance company paid for what they quoted. The rim was supposed to be replaced, an alignment was not completed. Paint is peeling where they took the tape off, and worst of all the Trunk Leaks when it rains!!! They blamed Teslas paint adherence quality. Regardless if it's Teslas paint defect or not the car was given back to me and the trunk is Worse condition then when I dropped it off. The original black badging on the trunk was replaced with a chrome piece. Yes they offered to fix that. But I dont have time to drive all the way to Lacey and have it fixed. The first thing I noticed about this place was their very nice reception area. Coffee and tea was available, nice touch. Every employee I had contact with was very friendly and polite. I was kept apprised of the work on my car. After eight days I got the call that my car was ready. They washed my car and cleaned the inside front seats. What a nice surprise! I came in late in the day asking for a favor which I had little expectation to be accomplished. My door didn't lock from the outside using the key, and after I called so many different auto shops and locksmiths, I was given exorbitant numbers or unrealistic timelines. I called Lacey Collision, asked if they could take a look near the end of the day, and they fixed my problem COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE. I don't remember the staff that helped but the technician and two front desk associates were extremely kind and considerate in helping me during a stressful time. My truck was supposed to be in for one week, it has been over a month. Feb 13 2023, After I make contact: I am bringing my truck in tomorrow, it has been scheduled for 2 months now, you have everything to get this done inside the one week time table correct. "Let me double check, yup we have it all." Week One: After I make contact: Well, you see there is going to be an extra $3000 in labor and parts so we need get approval to do the work, so we have not started yet. Week Two: After I make contact: So uh yeah well we have not heard back from the dealer so we have not started so ya." Me. "Who did you contact at the dealer?" "uh well that information is uh well not uh ya, its not in the notes, so Ya, uh-- when we hear from them we will give ya a call so ya" Week Two: After I make contact: So uh, ya, umm well we got the approval so ya the guys are going to get started on it. we are going to get the parts ordered so uh ya, should be done next week.... Week Three: After I make contact requesting a manager "So uh yeah, looks like the wrong parts were ordered, but hey we verified they were on hand and the right parts. We took your truck apart and got started.. so yeah, looks like the parts will be here next week because we didn't have the right parts. Week Four: After I make contact: So we are still waiting on parts, and so ya, the bed is off your truck, and everything so ya, we are just kinda waiting for the parts." Week Five: After I make contact requesting the General Manager. So ya, I was going to call you in an hour but ya your ready to go, all is good. if you want to pick up your truck, because it will be another week or two before the last parts get here for your door sills. they are washing your truck and it will be good to go tomorrow if ya wanna pick it up, So uh yeah, March 17, 2023. I picked up my truck. THE WRONG PARTS are installed, but hey "They matched everything." Now I have to go back, have them remove the wrong parts, install the correct parts, take time out of my week, my day because of the absolute incompetence of this shop. Here is the catch-- This was a warranty paint correction job. No accident. no insurance, Ford Certified warranty work. The only thing I can do now is QUESTION all the work, all the body pins, molding, pins, gaskets, that were installed, and if they were installed correctly. Because they could not match part for part removed. They could not clean up their adhesive mess from the exterior. There is buffing compound in the bumper, buffer pad burns in the plastic of the bumper and now swirls in the paint from incorrectly washing. Until my truck went to Lacey Collision, it had only ever been ran through a touchless carwash. To be clear: I was very vocal of my dissatisfaction and lack of professionalism, and service from this worker Directly as well as the reception people when calling in. Unfortunately, as sometimes happens, my vehicle was rear-ended on I five. I ended up taking my car to Lacey collision center for the repairs involved. There was way too many things done incorrectly for me to be able to give them any kind of a good review. Bad color match , They broke my tail light lens when reinstalling it and then left it. They didn't EVEN paint a rear valance at all, however they charged the insurance for that! WHEN I tried to talk to the shop about this when reviewing the bill, I was told that it was painted, when clearly it was not! The list goes on. I ended up taking one of my male friends with me, as well as the car back to the shop. Luckily I talked to an older gentleman who must've been the owner- and he did tell me to bring it back and they fixed some of the problems. However, the horrible color match is still with it and bothers me to this day. I would not take my car here unless it wasn't that important to me that I get quality work, respect, and customer service. D grade. read more

The staff who work at this shop are liars. Do not trust them! Their "accountant", Junell Villines, purchased an item from me on eBay motors and made up some lies so they could return it. They said the item was not as described which is completely not true. They received the brand new item exactly as it was described and looks in the ad photos. I realize this is a minor thing but when a business goes out of their way to lie just to receive a very small amount of money back, imagine what they would do for a larger amount of money. Great experience from estimate to fix. My estimator, Jon Brantley, secured my GMC running board as soon as I said let's do it. It was while GMC was on strike but he got the last one his supplier had in stock. They were less than a local competitor and the work was timely and well done. read more

The staff is not friendly. I tried to explain that scratches were not there before the accident, I baby my car...and the woman just tried talking over me, and she had a huge attitude. She said that the hose must have made those marks, I quickly took a picture, she came over, wiped it down, and there were scratches where the mark was on my passenger side rear door. Also- the bumper was not on correctly. So they had to have it for another day. If I ever get into another accident, my car will absolutely NOT be going here. I also noticed some white stuff that looks like paint on the lower part of my car, it's not hard to miss, I don't know what it is. I didn't notice it until I got home because I only checked out my bumper and scratches. But I'm sure if I call and tell them, they won't have a clue what I'm talking about. Lacey Collision did a great job on my vehicle. However, when they gave me the repair estimate, they never told me the work would take two days. I haven't had auto-body work in years, so I arrived for the repair thinking it would take a few hours. When they said it would be two days, I expressed surprise (not anger, just surprise). The receptionist's response was, "Your car is not the only car in the shop." I never thought mine was the only car in the shop. I'm not stupid. Lacey Collision failed to tell me how long the repairs would take, and then they insulted me when I was surprised by the length of time. I didn't have to worry about a thing as far as my insurance stuff. Three weeks ago today I took my Volkswagen convertible to get a door hinge repaired. The original estimate was $662 when they laid eyes on my car and reassessed it. The second estimate was given to me $2113.15 after a $500 deductible $1613.15. Perfect they inspected the hinge. They inspected the door. Everything was inspected. Now I understand things can happen. Things can get missed, but three weeks later my car is in pieces nothing is repaired and now they're telling me over $5000 to repair it and things were broke in the process of removing the side panels and the bumper and of course the reasoning is it's a manufacture defect . why the car got disassembled before the car door arrived I have no idea I repeatedly told, two people involved in my car don't do anything past the initial estimate without calling medo not add anything or do any extra work that may take the total cost higher than what the insurance will consider over the value... it's a percentage, but it's still over that NOW!! and now my car is being delivered back to me in pieces unrepaired AND no communication. I did receive two separate emails. All they said was I ordered a door. It's on the way. The first email stated that the door... the first one was in not good condition. The second door was on the way that's it . Nobody told me they took my car off in pieces, lights, side, panel front bumper the door the electrical system I'm sure is shot. It's a hot mess!! so I just want to say to anybody going to Lacey Collision I should've got it in writing not to do anything past the initial assessment without calling me because I would've said I'm going somewhere else or stop !! I did not expect my car to become a total loss over a door. My car is in mint condition, (or was) so consumer beware!! I am a person that gets things in writing and I didn't think telling them to call me would have to be put in writing but now I've learned. totally disappointing oh and then when I went over there to look at my car and video it and talk to the person who did all this it just as horrible!! read more

Can't say enough great things about Lacey Collision. I have used them at least four times. They have done an excellent job every time. Including when I was rear ended by someone. I didn't notice any damage and was with the guy who rear ended me and decided to call them just to see if I should still have it checked. They suggested to have it checked just in case. The estimator pointed out several points of damage I never would have noticed with my initial check. It was helpful and I was able to pursue the insurance to get it fixed. The repair was very fast and they kept me well informed. They also offer mechanic service so when the dealership I take my car to overlooked several issues I asked them to check when I got my tune up, I decided the next time I would take my business to Lacey Collisions mechanic shop. They were able to identify and resolve the issue I was experiencing right away. They also do oil changes and general maintenance so now I won't take my car anywhere else. Admittedly I have also rear ended someone, it was literally a minor bump rolling forward at a stop light. I recommend we take the car here for an estimate on repairs. They wanted to take it to the dealership. I agreed, funny thing is the dealership said the minor damage wasn't worth the time it would take and gave them the card for Lacey Collision as a recommendation. They are great from the front desk staff to the estimators and their auto body/mechanics. read more

******UPDATE*on my car. I received my car a week after the "expected date" but they claim that was an early release... I got two other people who heard otherwise.. anyways, when I got My car, everything looked fine. I followed the "rules" the gave me on washing and waxing. I never waxed my car since I got it back and I've hand washed it very softly since I've had it ... over a month passes, my car has been babied more than a brand new car, but I now have 3 good sized paint spots missing on my hood. It looks like the paint was super cheap and not even done right.. I now also have a bunch of paint missing on my left side of my bumper!!!!!! it looks like they just threw paint over it and called it a day.. you can still see scratches. I don't know what they did to that part... My fender is fixed and no paint seems to be missing from that, but my hood and bumper just look ridiculous. I've had many people point it out too so I'm not just over exaggerating.. ************ 9-22-18this is the worst place ever!!!!! don't come here even if this is the last place on earth!!!!! this is the most unprofessional "business" ever!!!!! i have a cadillac ats that was hit in the front about a month ago. my car has been here for 2and a half weeks. it was only cosmetic damage. one light, one fender, one hood, and a wheel/tire. for some reason it takes that long to get body parts at this shop.. anyways, when i brought in my car i did a full walk aroud with jd, she took pictures in front of me, we discussed the damage everything was good. yeah right.. 30 minutes after i get home i get a phone call from this place saying supposedly "there is damage to my back wheel and tire" how is this possible if we just did a full walk around of my car and noted the only damage was what i stated above. supposedly i dropped my car off with a 3 inch chunk missing from my wheel and my tire ! yeah right!! it would have popped how low my car is. i am in a car club. this is a show car iwas just at a car show the previous day and there was no damage in any picture that anyone took of my car!!! how is that possible???! so they call insurance and of course it wasnt from the accident so they wont cover it... now im stuck with a back wheel and tire missing a huge huge chunk from it. it can very easily pop on me while driving on a rough road but this company doesnt care about that... i turned my car in with my back wheels in perfect and i mean perfect condition. they were even shined and polished from the car show i was just at!!!!!! then they say my vehicle was supposed to be done on the 27th (today) a week ago!!!!!! all of a sudden 2 days ago jd calls me and says "my car should be ready on the expected date next week"??????? i have voicemails stating it will be done on the 27th. well today is the 27th and my vehicle is still disassembled!!!! that is why i would never ever ever recommend this place to anyone!!! not even my worse enemy!!! im getting my car back past the day they "claimed" and im getting it back with damage that wasn't on there when i turned it in!!!!!!!! this is the most unprofessional place ever.. dont ever come here! read more

The work was great. I dealt with an on site insurance rep who was very friendly, timely and committed to getting my work done the right way and quickly. All of those things made the repair part quick and painless. The office staff on the other hand could use a crash course in friendly customer service. Lets not forget that people with auto body repair needs, have often been in car accidents. And not every person has a partner at the ready. I arrived to get my car with the worst backache and wasn't sure where to park so I wouldn't have to walk too far. One female employee must have the loudest volume voice I've come across in a while. Yikes! Lower the volume it conveys that you are shouting. I go outside to my car and the kid driving it damn near snapped the key off in the ignition and I yelped let me do that so we don't break it. I got it out. As life would have it I needed to get my kids' car seats out of the rental car and back into my car. I got the light weight one out asked if the man could just lift the other one to the other car. Nothing else. It's an incredibly heavy Britax. Wow! just as the male employee was going to help this loud volume female employee came hauling out of the building shouting "he can't touch your car seat!!! We can't touch or move your car seat!!!!" Right in my face with a terrific lack of customer service and a terrific volume of pissed off at me the customer. The male backs off and says sorry. So with all my strength and a horrible backache I muster that thing into my car. They couldn't even bother to open or hold my car door open. I guess they can't do that either. While my backache was temporary what do they do if someone is disabled? I went back in to get my keys and you can be sure I was pretty ticked off that that moment. What a lack of customer service and compassion. I was the customer and I demanded to know what the hell kind of place this was? She was clearly hanging around the back office and comes out to yell some more about this policy I was some how supposed to know. The policy makes sense to me but the way it was conveyed was so awful. Watching a woman struggle to get a heavy car seat into her car and not even bothering to open a car door that is really cold. If I could give negative stars I would!! My husband had to have his truck in for body repairs due to an incident he had. He informed them from the beginning I work out of state and they let us know when he could get an estimate and then when it could be scheduled to be brought in. Okay fine and great. Again informed them okay but I need to be kept informed because I work out of state and we need to know with our car and rental situation so it would not be a hassle. So get told 19 business days until done then started to be told September 2nd and kept on being told that. He comes home or I go see him on the weekends. So last week he gets the message again on Thursday on track for completion September 2nd. Okay so we figured that weekend switch cars, no biggie! I went to go see him and I came home on 8/23 that next day he gets a call your truck is done! Small problem it's a Tuesday he's out of town with the rental and they did not tell us it would be done early. So I had to go down in the evening pick up the rental and bring it back early the next day because of insurance knowing the work was done. We were livid!!! And talking to the manager he kept saying what's the problem/ what do you want me to do about it/your mad cause we are done early? I told him no we are mad cause you just said next week and now all of a sudden it's done it's a huge inconvenience for us and you knew this. Again "your mad cause we are done early, what do you want me to do about it?" We do 400 cars a month and no complaints like this. I needed up telling him it's bad communication and you could of let us know hey we think we will be done next week. If they weren't it would of been a disappointment but nothing like how we feel now and the uncaring attitude and could careless attitude. We had gone through thousands of dollars at other shops trying to figure out the shake in our truck and we had explained to them everything we had already had done to it and finally only $500 later the shake is gone and we've been dealing with this death wobble/ shake for months even after thousands of dollars. I think it was a mixture of a few things however they went above and beyond to fit us into their schedule and even called to follow up after we picked it up to make sure we were happy with it and feel like the truck is back to normal and said that if it's not bring it back and they will make sure to get it figured out! I do not recommend this repair shop to anyone, ever. I've been going back and forth with my insurance company and finally got my van in to be repaired. I was supposed to have dropped it off on a Thursday but forgot. My bad. So I dropped it off on a Friday. When I dropped it off the front desk dude insisted that I take a seat and speak to Ashley about the estimate. I told him I didn't have to because it didn't matter what other damages there were I was only paying them was Geico had paid me for the claim, which was $697. He made me wait. Finally after waiting for a half hour or so, Ashley came out and said "Did you want to talk to me",? I looked at her blankly. I told her no I didn't want to talk, the front desk guy told me to wait there. She said there was no need to, and that front guy didn't know what he was talking about because he was new, and so I left. Over a week went by, the weekend, a whole other week, and then 4 more days, so about two weeks later, and I finally was told the repairs were done today. When I got there I previously had talked to someone (I believe Ashley) multiple times. Geico had written a check to me a month ago and we'd been busy so had no time to drop off. I asked if I could write a check to them so I could pick up my van. She told me multiple times "Yes, that's perfectly fine", and "No problem". I was told Geico wouldn't cover a part of the car that I know broke at the time we were rear ended. So I told her I'd pay for that, and asked the total. She told me about $800, which was more then what u had been paid. I said I could come by Thursday to get it and write a check. Like most Americans we live paycheck to paycheck.We get paid on Fridays, but of course the check would clear with no issues by the time they ran it. Today I finally got there to pick it up. I dropped my rental off at Enterprise, lugged my stuff into a seat, and was greeted. I said I have a check for you. There began the complete rudeness. One woman very rudely & bluntly told me that I supposedly signed a paper saying "No personal checks over $500". I thought that was strange since the repair cost was NEVER at or below $500, but always $697. In fact I had gone over these numbers with Ashley over the phone not once or twice but probably three times. They dug their heels in and said it was "company policy."I told them I had already returned my rental vehicle. Might I add before I even picked my car up they notified my insurance, who notified Enterprise that my rental was up, before I had even got my van back, so I had no choice but to pick up my van today. I offered to write them two different checks one for $500, one for $300. I told them where I banked at a local Chase. They said no. They would only authorize one check for $697, which left a balance of $103 to be paid. I then offered to leave them my debit card number or credit card number to run. But they again said no. I then offered for them to take a copy of my license, and they said that I could easily just not pay them, and then they'd have to go to court. I told them what it came down to is that they didn't trust me. They offered for me to get my rental van back but by that time the keys were returned, and I'm sure the paper work was done, and I was livid. They would not compromise on their ridiculous policy, one that had NEVER ONCE been mentioned to me, if I had signed something, it was probably in tiny print, and after all I had already asked multiple times to write a check with a "yes". The manager then offered to give me a ride home, which I refused. I think it's funny that he wanted me to trust him (when as a rule I don't ride with strangers and defiantly not men I don't know), and I again asked them to please just take a check for the full $800. But no. So I asked if I could at least put my stuff in my car and they said it was unlocked. So I threw my stuff in the car and walked a couple of miles of home, with my rental car canceled, and no van. The customer article was completely rude and uncaring. If you can't trust customers why should they trust you? I'm extremely disappointed in my experience. I would never recommend this place, I'm afraid to see what kind of repair job they did once I do look over it. Super upset. read more

Great Place! Nick is the best he will update you on every corner with what is going on. They have a text message system in place to let you know the progress of the vehicle! Everything is Grade A service. The shop and staff are true to everything they say! The only issue is I couldn't get Nick to replace his Seattle Seahawks cap with a fresh Arizona Cardinals otherwise everything was fantastic! Went back made an appointment called a few days to confirm the appointment the appointment had been cancelled they said it was State Farm cancelled the appointment called my agent he made a few calls guess what? State Farm did not cancel the appointment they give a cock and bull story since I had pre-exisiting damage that had nothing to do with the repair they weren't going to do the covered repair. read more

Then the lady up front seemed to wake up in a great mood as she was extra rude that day giving me sarcasm and a little attitude making me feel like I'm the dumb one making the mistake. Then I tell her what about the car rental, she says it shouldn't be today because it's not the day of your scheduling, so I resume to show her my scheduled date of rental for a car which showed 7-18-17. I cannot write a review regarding their workmanship but the level of customer service is horrible. My car went in to their shop on Feb 16th with expected completion of March 1st. It's now March 11th and I just got off the phone with their estimator (shocked that she actually called me, normally I'm the one who has to call) letting me know that the mechanic assigned to my car called out sick and they have other cars ahead of me. I'm just sick of this place and just want my car back. One thing is for sure, I will be looking over the work they did on my car real closely and will be taking my car (whenever I get it back) to another shop to have the suspension work that they're doing verified. read more

I just wanted to share my terrible experience this afternoon... I needed help figuring out how to replace my license plate light, so I stopped into Lacey Collision... The front desk girls were sweet and told me it was no problem and Bob would be out to help me.... In enters Bob... Takes a look at it and says the liner has to be removed and he has to charge me an hour minimum, which is $52... It caught me a little off guard, as from what I know, the pieces snap in and out and especially if you know what you are doing, it would be a quick job... I was dumfounded... So I drove across the street to GERBER and asked them... They were so nice! "Have a seat, grab some coffee and we'll take care of you..." It LITERALLY took them 5 minutes... I asked to please pay them at least $10... They insisted it was on them!!! Customer Service is so important to me and GERBER has earned my business for life... And Lacey (which I have used for everything ever I needed) has lost a customer... ***Update: was contacted by a few employees of LCC with apologies and had explained that Bob was new and this wasn't their normal business practice. It was appreciated. In this day and age unfortunately it just takes once though to lose a customer, may not be in this case, but in general*** read more

Great customer service and communication from everyone I spoke to whether it was over the phone or in person. Always greeted promptly and with a smile. The text updates were very convenient and kept me informed so I didn't have to worry. Nick did my estimate and did what he could so my car wouldn't be totaled. Horrible customer service, they took weeks longer than quoted to have my car fixed and after I got it back it was in worst condition then when I brought it in! Warning go elsewhere. read more

Someone hit my wife's Prius in a parking lot a few weeks ago and scratched the front bumper. I took the car in to have it looked at. Nick took one look at the damage, and said I can fix that right now, can you wait a few minutes?5-10 minutes later...voila, the bumper was repaired. Nick was super friendly, fast and efficient, and didn't even charge me!!! I will definitely take my car there in the future for any repair needs! read more

Oct. 4th. This is the first time I've dealt with this company. I brought my van in for an insurance repair on Oct. 4th., which should have taken about five days. I had taken that Friday off to pick up the finished work at the time promised. They called me that Friday, to tell me that it wouldn't be done until the following Friday. Telling me that they had to get the insurance company to o.k. the additional repair. (That took a week). Nov. 20th. So, again, I took another Friday off to get my car. Third week -- Luckily, Thanksgiving was approaching, so they promised it on Weds., (the day before Thanksgiving) no earlier than 5:00 p.m.. This time, they presented me with the van. The work had not been completed, and the inner splashguard on the passenger's side was missing. Apparently, the parts had been ordered, received, and sent back, as the "techs" didn't feel they needed them. So, they scheduled me for this Tuesday to have the incomplete repair completed. Now, I get a call on Monday, at 5:30, telling me that the one employee who does the striping won't be there. No mention about the splashguard. So I took off Tuesday for nothing. Although the work they did was fair, I'd say they need a lot of attention to customer service. Two months is a bit much. Stay tuned for the next exciting episode. . . . . . . Dec. 13th Spoke with Lacey Collision, and they wanted to set up another appointment for next week. Evidently, I was rude and unreasonable asking if their only striping employee would be back by that time. Collision repair 2.0! These folks are straight up MAGIC! OMG, repairing collisions is second nature to them. Everything is soo streamlined and sophisticated I felt like I was stepping into the future! Joel put together an estimate with what seemed to be over 50 items. They took care of working out the payment with the other insurer. Everything was so hassle free. All I had to do was hand them my keys and when I got back it was as if they had put my car back through a time machine. WOW, I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I've had to use Lacey collision on 2 separate accounts. Both times I spoke with Joel there, in a time that should be frustrating and troublesome (dealing with repair to a vehicle and more importantly dealing with insurance) Joel went above and beyond to make it inviting, easy and safe. He is confident and very knowledgeable about his work. Then the quality of their work is a league above. I gathered multiple estimates for the repair to my truck from my insurance companies "preferred" vendors and Lacey Collision was better priced by a decent margin. All in all I will continue to use Lacey collision if the need ever arises in future and would not hesitate to refer them to anyone in the future. read more
