Not their fault, but I had a much-loved car that I took in twice for repair -- but it was still a very old car, and with particular issues that cost more than $6,000 for each repair, I'd have had a newer car if I'd accepted that the old car was dead. Totally my fault, but after the second repair, the car had new issues so I immediately after the diagnosis I drove down the road to get a newer car. At Bryan's, they worked quickly, clean, took me to and from work, and I believe them to have been quite honest. I just loved the old car too much to accept that it was dead. My new(er) car seems to have problems now, after two or three years, and I'll be going back to Bryan's with no qualms. read more

The only problem with your theory is that the items in my car went missing directly after I got my car back from you guys.....and when we spoke about it, I wasn't ok with the outcome but what else was I to do afterwards? I reported items clearly missing directly after getting my car back, you denied your company having anything to do with it...fine. Whatever, it was more about the point of it than the actual items stolen. I'm not one to dwell on things , but I definitely stand by what happened, and I am 100% positive your employee was wearing the exact same thing that was stolen from my vehicle. Great experience so far! My spouse has taken both our cars here and they've been able to diagnose and fix the issues we were each having the same day. Prices were reasonable and at or under quote. I personally love their complementary shuttle service. It makes having only one working car so much easier and there's just so much less to coordinate. My husband was one of the best mechanics in town, and after he retired, and either didn't have the equipment or the energy to fix his own vehicles, we'd take them to Bryan's. I know cars. Bryan said I needed my head rebuilt, but my Toyota Landcruiser had only 100,00 miles on it. I agreed. Less than a year later the near-newly replaced cooling system failed and I had another mechanic tell me it was a head gasket failure. I told them to tear it apart and replace it and my goodness, Bryan put the head back on without a gasket. I had never heard of such a thing. He just used goop. Didn't want to go to Toyota and get a gasket it seems. Costly error going to Bryan. read more

Went in for a problem with the transmission and was told it needed a new one and had to take it to the dealership as it is a special transmission, well they charged a diagnosis of $120 and when I go to the dealership it was just low on fluid so another $180 for that. Went back to Bryans to ask for money back and they flatly refused. I have been going there for 20 years, after Bryan sold it to Chris it has never been the same, not going back ever. read more

STAY AWAY! THIS PLACE IS RAN BY DISHONEST, DECEITFUL, MANIPULATIVE MECHANICS. I SAVED $900 BECAUSE I WAS SMART ENOUGH TO GET A SECOND OPINION. I had a battery replaced at Bryan's, my first experience was okay but received slow service. Months later the battery went out. I called and asked if they would look at the battery because it was still under warranty. They agreed and I had my car evaluated. The next day I received a call and was quoted $1600 to fix my vehicle. I was informed the warranty on the battery wouldn't be honored and I would have to pay $129 for the diagnosis if I decided to not to move forward with the repair. This information was not communicated beforehand, as it was supposed to be covered under the warranty. I told the mechanic I wasn't going to allow them to work on my vehicle and asked why they weren't honoring the warranty. He then offers to replace the battery at no cost, if I decide to get the vehicle repaired. At this point his dishonesty and deception was apparent, I smiled paid the ridiculous fee and had my vehicle evaluated by a respected mechanic at another shop a couple miles away. They Provided a free quote and informed me that multiple diagnoses made by Bryan's Automotive were false. The new quote received was $900 less than what Bryans Automotive was attempting to collect. read more

This place and it's owner is a joke. My husband took his truck here after sustaining damage when helping a friend. We were called the next day,, after dropping the new tires and wheels off, and were told 2 of them were stolen the previous night. Bryan had the audacity to accuse my husband of stealing them and when he asked if they were going to replace them, that because he was in the Army, he felt "entitled" to things and NO they were not going to replace them. My vehicle recently broke down and I had it towed to Bryan's Automotive as I have been happy with their past services on my other vehicles. They were able to diagnose the problem and told me which part was broken. The part they stated had been replaced three years ago and the part was still under warranty from the auto parts store I had purchased it from. I told them I would go get the replacement part under warranty and have them install it. I was told they would not accept it from me and I had to purchase their part. I asked if they could purchase the part from the same auto parts store, that way I could get a refund from the auto parts store for the warranted part. Again I was told no that I had to purchase the part from them. When asked why, I was told if they did that, they wouldn't be making money off the part. I now see they are only out for the money and not for customer service. I had the vehicle towed to another garage who happily installed the part I brought them. They are no longer a business I will support. Their true colors showed. Profit over customer service!! I have three other vehicles needing service, but will take them somewhere else. I have told family and friends about this experience. One co-worker was bringing his car there based on my earlier recommendation, but has changed his mind and is taking it elsewhere. I recommend to anyone in need of vehicle service to look elsewhere as Bryan's Automotive doesn't care about you, only profit. read more

I've been watching as a close friend has paid dearly for entrusting her car and business to this place. With so many mechanic shops to choose from - trust and customer service become important factors when deciding where to go. After watching how they screwed up her car and now she has no choice but to pay them $1,100 more than she should just so she can get her car back - all while being treated rudely because they know she has to pay up or else - my advice is steer clear of this place! Their technical skills and integrity are questionable; but their disregard for customers is undeniable. I had rear end differential work done on my Chevy Van in September of 2016 which amounted to over $600.00. The warranty on the work was 12000 miles or 1 year. From the repair date to today, July 25, I drove the van a total of 10416 miles. I had the van in to Bryan's for other reasons during the warranty period but there was no mention of the oil on the differential, a job that could been done under warranty. The van has sat unused for the last 7 months other than taking a 250 mile highway drive last weekend. Today July 25, 2018 they tel me the work from 2016 must all be redone. When I asked if I would get some consideration on the price since they did the original work I was told that it was out of warranty and I would have to pay the full repair bill. Plus, since I asked them to check out the issues with the oil leak I found (originating from the differential), they charged me $60 to tell me the items they had previously repaired had failed. read more

Do not go to Bryans. You're definitely running a risk if you do. You might get the great service that some of the other reviewers got or you might end up like us. We had a vehicle towed there because it wouldn't turn over. We were told it was a fuel pump and a battery. They were going to charge 200.00 to put a new battery in so we told them we would do that ourselves. We were called and told our vehicle was all fixed and ready to go. It wasnt. It would start but would't do anything other than idle without dying. We asked if was test driven and were assured it was. My guy was given a ride home and we were called the next day...informed there would be an additional 400.00 in charges...before they could tell us anymore. An additional 115.00 for a second diagnostic, 200.00 for the battery and a 100.00 rodent cleaning fee. It was quite surprising to hear we had to pay another 400.00 on top of the over 600.00 ( diagnostic and fuel pump) we paid to pick up our"fixed" vehicle and that was before they could even tell us what was wrong. We were also told our car had not in fact been test driven. I questioned them why we had not recieved a complete diagnostic with our initial fee and was basically told they only diagnos one thing at a time. Funny thing is in their explanations (read excuses) as to why our car wasn't fixed when we were told it was they mentioned things like throttle body and pulling a lean fuel code....so they clearly have an idea of what is going on but want to get as much money out of us as possible before just being upfront about the costs of fixing the vehicle. They were EXTREMELY unconcerned with the fact that they told us the car was fixed and it in fact was not...saying things like "sometimes you fix one thing and its something else" acceptable for backyard mechanics but not expected from professionals. Needless to say we are out the 600.00 plus and we have towed the car somewhere else. I will update this review with what the other shop says is actually wrong with it. read more

I called Bryan's Automotive after a friend recommended his work. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the shop and the friendly staff. My '66 Mustang Fastback had a transmission leak that I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. After months of leaking in the garage, I decided it was time to take it to a shop. Bryan got it in right away and fixed it the same day and I picked it up that afternoon. Not only did he fix it quickly, but he didn't charge me for the service. My husband took his truck in to get a head gasket replaced they found a cylinder head warped. Called him quoted him a price to get it fixed as well.
