Jerry at Jimmy's Auto helped out this single mom in a pinch! After barely making it to my son's doctor appt that afternoon, the car barely chug-chugged to Jimmy's. (Yelp led me to the closest mechanics and I'm glad to have found the many positive reviews at Jimmy's because it was close!) It was a short wait and simple fix to get us back on the road (water in the ignition coil; missing a seal) and as a single mother, I AM SO GRATEFUL that Earth Angels like Jerry exist and don't take us for a ride Also, Jimmy's has a very cool and clean lobby; hip velvet sofas instead of plastic chairs. PLUS, this is the cutest bathroom sign I've ever seen! Thanks Jerry and Jimmy! read more

Jimmy's Auto Services - Auto Repair Near Me - Lacey, Washington

I recently dropped off my car for services and let me tell you, I was impressed. The mechanics are thorough and professional, with fair prices. I dropped my car off at noon and picked it up within 2 hours! I suggest you call ahead to schedule, great guys! read more

Every single time I use them I get outstanding service. The best part is they are reasonably priced! I would recommend 10/10

I went in for troubleshooting on an issue and they ended up taking 3 hrs on it and charging me for labor and a new part I didnt even ask for. $600 gone and they had the nerve to tell me that there was a new issue after they worked on it but it was small and I'd be good. Do not come here, very shady place. read more

Two words...catalytic converter. If you are like me and went to start your car in the parking lot only to find it now sounds like a motorcycle starting up you too have found yourself to be a victim of a stolen catalytic converter. Jerry was fantastic and was able to get me scheduled for the fix within two days of calling. My repair was done faster than expected and they made it easy on me by working with my insurance adjuster. Having a part stolen or vehicle out of commission can be frustrating but Jimmy's took the burden off with their excellent service. read more

They take the time to diagnosis, quote a price & do the work in a timely manner! I've used them for muffler repair or replacement several times over the last 20 years. read more

Jimmy's is extremely honest and trustworthy. I came in with a coolant leak and they said it was only a loose hose clamp and not the water pump I was afraid it might be. They topped off my fluids and I was on my way in 20 minutes! Highly recommend! read more

Spent over 5 grand and almost all of the work has been redone by other automotive shops because the work done at jimmys was half assed. Brand new crankshaft fubar after 1 week because of loose bolts on the harmonic balancer and since i had to provide the crankshaft myself the work to replace is not covered so another 2 grand for another crankshaft removal and install don't waste your money here they aren't what they used to be. read more

Jimmy's was able to get my wife's vehicle in quick, and the final price was right around the quoted estimate. I had to schedule the visit, but Jerry was able to get the work done same day! Quick, quality work! Highly suggested! read more

I had a lot of problems with my car and Jimmy Auto Service was able to fix the problem. Jerry was very understanding and I would refer anyone in the local are to go choose them. Thank you soo much for taking care of my car. read more

I brought my car in for a problem with my exhaust. The problem was identified and fixed within three hours and at a much better price than what I'm used to for vehicle repairs. I was very happy with my service here. read more

I have been brought my car here a few time now to have work done, they have done awesome work and have gone out of their way to make sure it was within my budget. I totally give this business a five star review. read more

Back in 2009, Jimmy built me a custom, duel exhaust set up and headers for my 2006 GMC Sierra. Added a ton of performance, gas mileage, and awesome sound. In 2016, one of the performance cats he installed was acting up, and I needed to smog my truck. Dropped in without an appointment, Jimmy remembered my set up, and swap'd out the cat at no charge, and while I waited. I recommend this shop 100%. Technical expertise and customer service is second to none. read more

I needed a new exhaust and Jimmy was very easy to work with around the cost and my ability to bring in my own parts. He was easy to book time with and it was ready on time. I will definitely go back! read more

What speaks better than 5 stars? Jimmy personally worked on my truck. Customer service was outstanding. I was involved in the whole process, unlike other shops where they won't let you anywhere near the garage. He talked to me while he was working, and explained what he was doing, and never got irritated with my questions. I have gotten work done at many shops, and I felt welcome I this one. The price was great, and this has become my new shop. The best way I can sum this up: I would send my grandmother here alone, and I know they would give her the same treatment. 'Nuff said. read more

Jimmy is the best in town. They are good in the servicing and major repairs. I replaced my air condition in Toyota Sienna and I am doing monthly service with them. Best in the business... read more

Complete waste of time. Went in for a quote to modify my exhaust. The mechanic told me the job would be about $120 if I took it off and brought them in. I did just that and when I returned another mechanic in the shop said that it would be over $160 and that I should have the work done somewhere else since this would be too difficult. Not sure what their deal is, I ended up going to another muffler shop down the street and having the modification done for $100 bucks. In the end I am glad this happened because I found a much better shop for exhaust work. read more

I came in and they saw my car right away. I needed a muffler and exhaust. He was able to custom weld and design it for my crummy old 1997 Land Rover. Amazing price, great on time. He was honest, and upfront. If there was a service he didn't provide, he recommended a place for it. Outstanding. read more

My tailpipe rusted through and fell off while driving cross country to my new home in Lacey. Jimmy's was able to replace my rusted out muffler and installed a new tailpipe on very short notice for a fair price. The staff was friendly and completed the job in no time. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

I got the stretch hummer limo for my bachelorette party, it was totally last minute after I was scammed by a company trying to outsource. I was so pleased with the service, I talked with jimmy directly and he scrambled to get a driver for us because it was so last minute but he made it happen. The price was very fair and the hummer limo was amazing and very clean! The driver was awesome! I've already booked my next trip with them read more

I have used them twice so far and have had outstanding customer service on both occasions. Very prompt service as well. With any service company it is almost guaranteed that things will pop up that are unexpected whether it be plumbing or mechanical work or what have you. Nice guys and very up front. Would highly recommend them! read more

I have called and talked with them twice to see about getting work done on two different cars. The individual I spoke with both times was unpleasant and rude. Not sure if they do good work because I couldn't find myself setting up an appointment just because of the rude manner in which I was treated. This last time I had called and stated I had already purchased the muffler on line specifically for my car, the price he quoted me to install it seemed high, when I asked why it was so high he said, "well your not installing it yourself are you" so I guess that means your not suppose to ask questions. Anyway, hope they work out better for others who go there, they seem to have a lot of good comments, just maybe this guy was having a bad day or something the days I called. read more

They did okay service for basic things at a good price but I've brought my vehicle in twice to get a quote and both times they couldn't figure out the problem. I was charged an outrageous diagnostic fee. I tried to use the online coupon and the owner said he had no idea about any coupons... which are on his site. When I got home I was upset when I went to their website and saw the coupon for $10 off of any work done over $50. The diagnosis was exactly verbatim what I told the owner going into the shop. The solution wasn't given other than replace the engine. Which wasn't the problem. The approach of get a new engine because it requires less thinking is not an customer driven business mindset. That leads me to not use this shop for future work. I do have to say I noticed the welder guy is very talented. I wanted to use them even if I had to pay more because I support local business... but now I know not to support bad business. They were very hospitable and kind but the work and bill speak for the business itself. I do have a family member who had some work done there and that is the reason I went with them initially. I wanted so badly for them to work out. I was let down both times. So fair warning if you have serious issues look for a better shop that has the knowledge base. Every issue that arose with my vehicle was looked up in their repair manual service that they pay for. So basically that showed me they have no idea and had to see on online manual for instructions on diagnosis. Also this happened months ago. So it's not like I just left their upset jumped on my computer and started to bash them. read more
