I had one of those stereotypical old cars with far too many miles, too many modifications and no real after market support based on its age. with that said, the header developed a crack right against the flange that bolts to the head. based on age and overall condition, he really wanted to rebuild that header. I simply couldn't afford the full rebuild that was really needed. he patched the crack with no guarantee on longevity. I can't say I blame him for that... if I were in his position I'd have done exactly what he did. I had planned on bringing that car back to him at a later date. that later date never arrived as the car finally gave up the ghost. in any case, they care about what they do, they enjoy creating good quality work and the price as I recall was more than reasonable. read more

I'll start with the fact that they no longer do breaks so keep that in mind. However, they fixed our muffler quickly and for super cheap! Our muffler was hanging off due to a mild accident we were in upon moving to Washington. It caused shaking of our vehicle and loud noises. We were quoted at other mechanics for much steeper prices. Luckily our wonderful mechanic gave us a great quote we couldn't pass up! It took about 45 minutes and our car was working as it did before! read more

I called in the head and asked for a quote on a full custom exhaust job. I ended up paying less than what they quoted me originally. When I showed up they were super helpful and already had an exhaust ready for me. They estimated it would take two hours, but got it done in 45 minutes all the questions I had were answered in full detail. Used them twice. First time, I bought a 3 inch muffler from them and found later that they had welded 3 inch exhaust pipe over a 2.5 inch muffler. 2nd time I had them install their X pipe and a cat back exhaust on my Mustang and they welded one side to the frame. Bolted the other side. When I called them on it, they claimed it was easier that way. Easier for them- Not for the customer. read more

First of all I have no complaint about the work preformed. It was good work and the experience shows. It was a small job (with sharp bends) using 4" Exhaust pipe and One Flex Pipe. It was custom. WARNING: If you get a Quote, get it in writing!!! I was told between $250 & $350 which I thought was kind of high but, the other muffler business' in town have closed. Next time I'll go out of town. I was charged $479.00. I won't be going back. read more

Viktor is a stand out guy and I don't think a business can get any better than this. My exhaust pipes had holes in them and he fixed my 2013 Honda Civic up to perfection with a new exhaust pipe, connect pipe, and muffler without even charging me for the labor. My catalytic converter was stolen and I was referred to Quality muffler to get it fixed. They did the work and the car sounded terrible. I took it back to them and they said that was just how after market converters sounded. I then took the car to the dealer and they said that was not true. Because the insurance had paid for the repair they made me go back to Quality to have it fixed. Quality grudgingly did the work a second time and it still did not sound good. And got worse over a few months. I took it to another mechanic and they said the work that had been done at Quality was poor. They had not used the right gaskets and there were bolts missing. This shop did work to fix it up and it now sounds better. Not a good experience. read more

I, like you, did a search then read reviews. Victor gave me a quote over the phone with a couple (understandable) caveats. I did no check so he could verify whether or not my vehicle had cat converters as required by CA and some other states - which is TWO - instead of our state required one for my year vehicle (2001). I knew my 02 sensors needed R&R (a scan told me that) and he verified requires two ahead of the cat(s). He would need to check whether or not the single 02 sensor after the primary cat would need R&R. Also IF the 02's were so rusted in place requiring a lot more time may cost more. We discussed muffler but that would be reviewed after he had my pickup on the lift. So, I went to his shop fully informed, no surprises. He's a small shop with one employee besides himself so he has to take calls but he's very efficient while under the vehicle and gets the work done quickly with time available and I was out of there in 2 hours. My bill was per the quoted price because no major issues or surprises presented themselves. I am very pleased with the work, my vehicle runs AWESUM now and when I need brakes or other exhaust work done Quality Muffler & Brake is where I will go. You can trust this shop. He won't overbook, he knows what he can accomplish and will not make promises he cannot keep. Support our local business when you can, everybody WINS. read more

Pricey but worth it. My Toyota truck was gutless, and sounded horrible before Victor got his hands on it.

My daughters car had a rattling sound coming from under her car and another mechanic shop diagnosed the catalytic converter broke apart and parts were in the resonator causing the rattling. They wanted $700 to repair. Brought over to Quality Muffler & Brake and found a rock caught in the hangar area which was causing the noise. Cat Converter was good. This honest business just saved me $600 and did great work. Now I'm going to be taking my truck down there soon. read more
