We also needed a new cushion and for another cushion to be extended. They were more than happy to talk us through the process, give us plenty of time to find the PERFECT fabric, and work within our budget. It was a wait for the finished product, but it was well worth it. Finally, (this was pre-COVID, keep in mind) when I went to pick up the cushions, they saw how difficult it was going to be to fit them in my car. They spontaneously decided to deliver the cushions for me, walk them down to my boat with me, and help me put them in place. Because they went above and beyond like this, they noticed that one of the cushions didn't fit in the space perfectly. I probably would have just let it be, but they wanted to take it back and make it better, so I let them. The finished product is gorgeous and exactly what I wanted! Check for the vertical seems in the picture (don't mind the cat). Bet you can't find 'em, but they're there. Trust me. They're just really well matched. My only regret is that I tried to save money by splicing new and old foam together. I think I should have just bought an all new cushion on the settee. Old foam and new foam are just never quite the same. But that was my fault, and it's something I can easily change in the future. Honestly, they did a marvelous job! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

We put in wood floors -- coinky-dinky the style/type is called Cannon Beach. We bought a set of beachy-looking white-distressed bedroom furniture from Oly Furniture, and then went on to have the antique wing-back chair redone. We also had them do some matching bed pillows of a different fabric. It all goes together perfectly. By the way, they have a ginormous selection of fabrics. It's nice to know that you can get this quality of work in Olympia. Now the last thing is to get Olympic Blinds to put in new blinds and then we're done.

It was over 90 degrees and I was not about to let it spread, so the husband started calling to places around Olympia as we were nearing the city. The first quote was for a place in Chehalis that had no website and 0 reviews. $80. The second place had good reviews. They couldn't fit us in. We called Jesse and he said come on in. $40. Sold! It's a nice little shop just off the freeway (101 or 5, I can't remember). Jesse was helping another customer but got to us as quick as he could. Came out to check out the chip and immediately had his co-worker bring my car to the back to cool down. Jesse explained the process and what we could do to maintain the repair. He said it would take at least 25 minutes because the glass was hot and had to cool down. We were offered cold bottled water. We chilled out on the big sofa. It was a crappy situation to be there, but it turned out to just be a nice detour. The crack was fixed and you can hardly tell it's there. No sun shade for this window's future! Great service and really friendly folks there...a winning combo. Thank you, Jesse!!

We left around 7:30 p.m. to avoid traffic, but not long into the drive the high oil level warning light came on. Luckily, we were near Lacey, WA, and had to decide whether to spend the night in the van and limp to a local mechanic or have it towed home to our trusted mobile mechanic. Andrew arrived around 11:30 p.m. and was professional and courteous from the start. What could have been a stressful late-night tow turned into a much more pleasant experience, and he and my husband chatted the whole way, making the long trip feel much shorter. We really appreciated Andrew getting us home safely in the middle of the night. His kindness, professionalism, and positive attitude made all the difference. Nisqually Towing is lucky to have him--give Andrew a nice bonus and a birthday cake since we cut his birthday short. He truly deserves it!
