I drive a 100k Lexus and smashed it into my friends car while parking doing $3000 worth of damage. It wasn't the best week. I was eager to get it fixed and back on the road but also somewhat hesitant to trust anyone with my new car. I met with Kylie of Capital Collision Center. She was very responsive fielding SEVERAL of my questions and concerns. She communicated with me when my car was transferred to the paint shop and when it was then completed. We've had our minor fender benders repaired here for 20 or so years. The quality of their repairs are first rate. Our recent experience involved my daughter's fender. A minor ding that was worth fixing now, than later. The car was fixed with no evidence of repair. The job was completed on time, as promised. Filing a claim through them with our insurance carrier was effortless. The service is also top shelf! Questions about repairs are answered simply, not in mechanic-ese. My 2014 Toyota PriusC was rear ended. I took it to Capitol Collision for repairs because they said that my satisfaction was guaranteed. The work was a new rear bumper, repaired hatchback door and repairing the right rear taillight. I asked them to check the electrical when they repaired the taillight. I took my vehicle in on Jan. 15. They said they'd be done on Friday Jan. 18th. Friday they called me and said they weren't done and it would be the middle of the following week. On Thursday Jan. 24th they called and said it was done. They brought the car and I saw right away that the bumper and hatchback door didn't match the color of the rest of the car. They didn't even paint the hatchback latch piece so the wrong color really stood out. The guy who brought the car tried to convince me that it was the same color by asking me if I thought other parts of my car (that they hadn't painted) matched each other. After a while he relented that the parts they painted did not match the rest of the car. He said they couldn't fix it til the next week and asked us to bring it back Monday Jan. 28th. I had to go down to Oregon where I found out that we had no rear taillights. It was unsafe to drive my car at night with no rear lights. On Monday Jan. 28th I returned the car to Capitol Collision and told them about the lights. They had the nerve to tell me that they felt the lights were working fine when I left and maybe I just didn't know how to turn the lights on. I explained that they are obviously not working now and they said they would look into it. On Tuesday Jan. 29th I got the car back. The paint was somewhat better but still not the same as the rest of the car. The lights were working now. I explained to them that I had missed more than two weeks of income because they had my car so long when they had quoted me just four days. I explained I was unsatisfied with their work and that I'd like a portion of my money back since my car color was still not right and because they gave me my car back with no working rear lights which was extremely unsafe. I said I planned to write a negative review. They said I was extorting and slandering them because they refused to refund a potion of the repair cost back if I wrote a review about my experience. They said they had never returned any money back to unsatisfied customers and they weren't starting now. I am highly dissatisfied with the way they treated me and am unhappy with their lack of attention to detailed. There are many favorable reviews on yelp for this company and that is in part why we trusted them with our vehicle. I'm writing this as a warning not a deterrent from going to them for repairs. This is just what happened to us. It's not slander to tell the truth. read more

This business is charging unreasonable "Covid sanitation fees". Other places are not doing this. Using COVID as a means to charge extra fees, especially $25, seems ridiculous. This place is joke! If I could give it no stars, I would. I moved across country and shipped my wife's car. The movers pulled the car off the transport trailer and ripped up the undercarriage (nothing major). My insurance company recommended Capital Collision so I went with it. Big Mistake! I called them on Monday and I was told they couldn't inspect my car until Wednesday at 1:00. No problem. Wednesday came and went and I heard nothing. Thursday at about noon, I called and spoke to the incompetent front desk female. She told me that she never told me that (my wife was witness to the conversation) and they wouldn't be able to inspect my vehicle until the end of the week or early the next week. I have to wait a week just for them to inspect it? Then she got rude and placed me on hold because I insisted on them honoring my appointment for at least an inspection. We have rental car coverage through our insurance so it's no big deal but at least inspect the vehicle! I asked to speak to the manager so they put "Kyle" on the phone. It's amazing how any incompetent "BIG OAF" who can change a tire gets a manger job at at an auto body or mechanic shop. Kyle was just as rude and incompetent as the female he supervises at the front desk. Kyle told me that he had a car on the lift waiting on parts and he would not be able to inspect my car until he got the parts and fixed that car. You mean to tell me that you only have one lift? You can't lower that car and put it somewhere else so you can at least inspect other vehicles? What an incompetent and lying, OAF! I drove to the business and told them the only thing they could do for me is give me my keys! I took my car right down the street and had an inspection, a quote, and an expected repair date within 2 or 3 hours! I would not recommend using this place to fix a bicycle, let alone your car! They will fix your car but they refuse to take responsibility for damage they caused. I left my car without a crack in my windshield and when I received it there was a noticeable crack in my windshield along the edge. The rep tried to blame it on the change in weather and even printed out a hazy picture of a supposed crack on my windshield saying it was there before. It wasn't. And it isn't my responsibility. Now I'll have to deal with it through my insurance but everyday it's delayed in getting fixed I'm watching the crack expand to a size larger than a dollar bill. Do not get your quote here. Save yourself the headache and go to another center where they are not dishonest. read more

Already not impressed my car was towed yesterday and I was told that in its condition I would be authorized a rental vehicle. And this was supposed to be looked at the day it was towed there. I called this morning at 9:30am to follow up But TJ changed his mind and decided that he might give it a quick look over align it and try to get me back in my broken car before they have a chance to really look at it. That was at 9:30 and I received no call back so I went in at about noon and still he hasn't looked at it or done anything and is leaving me with no transportation with kids to pick up. I only decided to go through this place because of the reviews and customer service I received over the phone from 3 different ladies I spoke to This guy is totally disregarding that I have to pick my 3 children up in less than an hour and yet he's just gonna do a quick look at it and put my kids and me in a possibly unsafe vehicle. My front grill is hanging and hits any dips and is damaging other parts. My door doesn't open with making a bending metal sound, the inside hub is rubbing up against the inside of the tire. I've already contacted my insurance I hope it's not to late to find a company that would empathize with my situation and understand the urgency of having transportation so that I can pick up my children. And the worst part is that they aren't paying for the rental car my insurance is covering it. The injury was bad enough to leave me with bad X-ray results with injuries to my neck and back. Well my insurance called me back and was pretty upset that I would be treated like this with no transportation for my 3 small kids. So they called the rental company and I barely got into a car on time to pick up my kids. It now about 3:30 which is an hour and 15 minutes pass the time my son was supposed to be picked up and I just now get a call from TJ on what they are going to do. And when I explained my frustration of the constant reminder he told me that he had other cars to take care of first before he looks at mine and gets me into a rental that's right next door to them. Well I guess we'll see what type of work they do I'm sure their collision experts are better than this guy. read more

I hesitate giving a 5-star rating, because someone reading this might think I'm a plant. I assure you, I am not. This IS A 5 STAR shop. I was with my buddy at Capital Collision Center when he got the repair estimate for repairing the body damage to his Nissan Leaf. Jeff prepared the estimate, which was accepted by my friend's insurance company. I was impressed by Jeff's professional, yet friendly attitude. I was also with my friend when he picked up his Leaf after the repair was completed. It was impossible to tell there had been any damage. Jeff took the time to go over almost every detail of the repair process. Not that it has to do with the quality of their work, but I make note that the business office at Capital Collision Center is professional, clean, nicely decorated and has an accommodating waiting room. The receptionist has a very pleasant, helpful and cheerful attitude. When my GMC Safari van suffered hit-and-run damage to the rear quarter panel in a parking lot, I went to both Capital Collision Center and another well known local body shop to get repair estimates. Both of these facilities were approved by my automobile insurance company, so it was entirely up to me to decide where to take my van for repair. I decided to use Capital Collision Center under the watchful care of Jeff. During the entire repair process, I was given play-by-play text updates. While CCC needed a few extra days to get parts, there were no unpleasant surprises. When I picked up my Safari not only had they repaired the damage to 'as new' condition, they had also repaired a scratch an no additional cost. In fact, there were no hidden or additional costs for anything. FAR ABOVE AND BEYOND: When I looked over the inside of my van, I almost didn't recognize it. I had dropped it off for repair with interior covered in 3 or 4 years of accumulated dirt, grime and man-stuff, not a pretty scene. Capital Collision Center had completely detailed my interior into near-new condition. I was both pleasantly surprised and quite impressed that they would spend the extra time and effort to assure their customer's complete satisfaction. While I hope I never have a need for their services again, I can assure you if that time does come, I won't waste my time going any place else for auto body repair. If I could give six stars I would. I was referred here by a family member after my brand new Saturn Astra was hit by a woman who ran a red light. I'd fought with the other parties insurance company for over a week. I called Capital Collision and spoke with the manager Rick. He was so wonderful to work with. My car was towed to his business the same day. I explained how frustrated I was with the other insurance company and he said he'd take good care of my car. Man was he right. I picked up my car today. Less than a week of repair work (the whole front and passenger side panels were damaged) and it LOOKS BEAUTIFUL! My car looks brand new, smells great, is so clean and no one would know the damage that my poor little car had endured such hell from the accident. I'm not sure what happened to my beautiful BMW, Natasha. But she needed some body work. Called Capital Collison and spoke with Noemi Munoz. Without an appointment, she didn't hesitate to get me in. She gave me an estimate that very same afternoon. She called shortly after to set up the appointment. Noemi kept me informed the entire time Natasha was at the shop. My car was finished before the estimated time and she looks GORGEOUS AGAIN! If I could give 100 stars I would! The staff and especially Noemi were awesome, professional and personable. Noemi told me that everyone there knew about "Natasha". I loved that!!! Needing body work sucks and is expensive. However, Noemi personally worked with my insurance. Watch out if you are getting any work done at Capital Collision! My mom had a tree hit her car and knock out a head light during the last wind storm we had. Her car insurance insisted she take the car to Capital Collision to get it fixed. The repair to the head light was covered by my mothers car insurance and while the car was in she asked them fix some old scratches and dents on the passenger side door and wheel well that she would pay for out of pocket. She was told everything was to only take 5 days but since they never called my mom back to up date her on the progress of her car, on the 5th day we called to check to see if the car was ready for pick-up. We were told that Capital Collision "found" something else wrong with the car and tacked on another $400 to the bill. This bumped the repair costs up past what the insurance company would pay and they canceled the payment for all of the work with out telling my mom (a problem in of itself). Since my mom needs her car, she agreed to pay for all the work out of pocket but was then told it would take at least another 10 business days to finish the work when they had already spent 4 days on it. My mom was given one excuses after another as to why the work would take so long and when the work was finally done and she was told she could pick her car up at 4:45pm on Friday. We pick-up her key and as we look over the car, it is clear that none of the repairs to the scratches and dents she asked them to do had been but by then they were closed for the weekend. Looking over her bill she was billed for repair and replacement of the side molding, paneling and wheel cover but when we went back to Capital Collision when they opened on Monday to complain that some of the work my mom paid for was not done, they told my mom that what is covered on her bill was the replacement of this small bit of detailing on the side of the car, that my mom said had nothing wrong with it. Then Capital Collision tried to claim that my mother had never asked them to fix the scratches and dents on that side of the car which was bullshit because I sat in on the phone conservation my mom had with them originally. They then offered to work some kind of "deal" with my mom to do the "additional" work she "now" wants done but it would most likely be at least another $1,000 of work and another couple of weeks to get done. We walked out at that time, they treated my mother with such disrespect we will never use Capital Collision again. read more

Friendly staff, terrible work. Picked up vehicle and it had the wrong headlight installed and fender as about 1/4" out. ... Three weeks later I go back to pick it up and they put a used, fogged up headlight, from a junkyard in my car. Not only was it used, it was melting on the inside. Capital and two other shops were recommended by my insurance company State Farm ... I should have gone somewhere else as this company has no real security protecting your already damaged car. Additionally, they don't give you the facts until you finally let them know how you feel about the way they hide what has happened. I initially called and was told I would have at least a one to two week wait until I could get my car in. I said to their receptionist that I thought I would try one of the other shops ... she said all of them were busy ... so as Capital was nearest to my office I told her to call when they could take the car ... the car was drivable and they called a week later - I brought the car in on a Wed the estimator said it should be done by that Friday. When i did not here from them on Fri I called and was told my window had been smashed ... at that time they said the drivers side but they were not going to report this to my insurance - even though they could...they were going to take care off it but it would be all completed by the following Thursday - another 6 days paying for a rental car. I called them on Thursday to check and the estimator now said to me he was going to have to keep the car until the next Monday but was pushing it back to Friday just for me - but it was suppose to be fixed by that Friday! It was at this point he informed me not only the window was broken but it was broken in the back and my glove compartment had been stripped of registration, insurance card and all service records including my manual ... oh and they had seen the person break the window twice on film in a two hour period ... it appears they saw my old burnt out iPad in the bottom of the floor in my back seat - at the time of my accident I had it in the car to take to disposal but forgot about afterwards due to being upset. Here's the thing - there security cameras aren't attached to any security warning system, they kept it from me for a week regarding letting me know that anything was stolen, that a police report had been filed, never gave me the information on the report with the Olympia police and when I picked up my car it looked like there was far more cost and damage than I believe actually occurred .... I spoke to the manager who was very courteous and assured me he was looking into things but had had previous problem with this one employee ... however it was only then that I was told that it was the right side window that had been smashed twice ... now this Ian 2009 Yaris ... hope none of you have a really expensive car because you have no protection or care at Capital Collision... we are required to keep registration and insurance info inn the car and now due to no security at Capital and a bevy of misinformation someone out there has information on my ID and where I live. I have informed State Farm and they said they were moving investigation of this situation up as it did not seem that this company performed the level of care they expect. Avoid this company like the plague. read more

I highly recommend that you AVOID this business. They were paid by an insurance company to fix my Acura Legend after I had been rear-ended. The insurance company paid them over $7k for the job. Capital Collision made it a very unpleasant experience for a couple of reasons. First, it took them a long time to get around to doing the work. Second, one of the replacement parts, a retractable antenna, was backordered. It finally came in months after I had moved from Washington to California. They had already been compensated by my insurance company for the labor related to installing the antenna. I asked them to forward the part to me in CA. They refused to do so unless I sent them a check to cover the shipping. I thought that this was outrageous because the package weighed less than a pound, and I was going to save them time by installing the antenna myself. These guys charged 8 grand for the repairs. They were flippant and rude throughout all our communications. Also the work that they did was was not very good. After they made the "repairs" to the rear end of my car, the trunk has leaked water whenever it rains. Good thing I now live in California or my trunk would probably now be rotten. read more
