Spent the time to call and make an appt for a transmission flush. I talked to a guy FROM the services department and talked to him about what was going on. He said great come on in and we can help you. Made an appt for my day off and took the car there. Walked in and checked in and the guy asked what I needed. So I explained again and he said "I'm not doing that, it's going to make it worse". I can run a diagnostic to see if there's something else going on but it's going to take three and a half hours. They are part of the Cudle program so my bank sends $ by wire after down payment and Voila. We drove the desired car and looked at another. But I'm not a fan of silver or gray in the NW( too hard to see in fog and rain up here). So the little white car it is! It's a 2015 used ( lease return) Nissan Leaf S. Simple and efficient and it did have the fast charging system so we were outta there in like 3 hrs! Of course they try to upsell all the extra stuff. I said no, and asked about the shipping charges. They gave a blurb on shipping and asked if I want to cancel. I said no, pretty please. They canceled my order immediately. I can't imagine a place that spends as much time trying to convenience a customer to cancel their order as this shop. Unprofessionalism would be an understatement. As of 3/4/24, I have had to spend $5500 on auto repairs after receiving a buyer inspection from their service center.

I am really disappointed and discouraged by our experience. I spent over 4 hours of driving to visit Olympia Nissan based on information provided by Internet Manager about possible trade-in range and the ability to order a car. Instead of $5-6k range indicated for trade-in, we were offered $3k, which was lower than other dealerships and even with initial lower price on new car, was a worst deal. It wasn't even at the $3.8k KBB minimum even though car was in great shape and the owner of another dealership said it was the nicest he had seen of that model/year/mileage and was sold by them for over 3x that value. Even though Internet Manager indicated we could order a car, we were informed once there the dealership had reached its allocation for orders and couldn't order. We were then told even if we could order, instead of the 3-6 months indicated, would likely be a year out and that the rosewood color was on hold for what the salesperson suggested might be "paint issues." He then offered silver one that could be obtained from Oregon. Even though we worked with senior sales manager, we found challenges getting our questions answered on basic options, buying options/pricing and felt almost a lack of interest in selling a car. I was asking for honesty to help my mother-in-law due to drive/time factor and instead was lured in by lots of false information. This was a frustrating and negative experience and I recommend steering clear of this dealership. read more

Here I am again to tell you to avoid Olympia Nissan. Took my 2022 Nissan Kicks for a diagnostic to address loud road noise. My husband (a certified diesel mechanic for the past ten years) thought it was a door or window seal. Asked Nissan to take a look since I pay for their warranty. I told my husband I could not stand dealing with these people, so he graciously took the car in for me. Hailey (a service manager I think?) said she would call throughout the day and we kept getting different information and no calls. First, they said "it's your window seals and we'll replace them". Great! For once I'm happy here. Then we evolve to "Nissan is probably going to recall the window seals on the Kicks so you should wait til then".. well no. That's not what I want. It's an obvious issue so fix it, seems logical? Too much logic for these people. Also, my warranty ends next month so seems like they just want to rip me off here. Also, when THEY sold this car to me, they failed to mention the instrument cluster was still Canadian, which we've tried to address with them multiple times (but it's not covered under my warranty- of course). Hailey so kindly reminded us that the car is Canadian... like we didn't already know and pitch a damn fit about it to you guys? Then tries to imply that we tried to black out the "KM" on the dash... why would I do that and how does one do that? If anyone did that, it would be you Olympia Nissan. So, no window seals are being replaced because apparently "they're out of stock" since we spoke a couple hours ago and Nissan has absolutely zero idea when they will ever be available again, but they'll call me if it happens. YAY. Husband goes to pick up the car and Bruce gives him the wrong keys and paperwork and says "have a nice day". Guess we could have walked off with someone's Nissan Rogue. Sloppy work all around, all the time. They lie and tell you they'll fix something then tell you something else. Get a grip on your establishment, Olympia Nissan. Very disappointed. Our 2019 Frontier had broken down and Austin the service specialist - initially informed me that he would not be supplying me with a loaner car. We found out the issue was under warranty and would take over a week to repair. We were then offered a loaner car only after pressing for it again. The truck needed a window replaced ( it was broken into while waiting for the tow truck) When the Frontier was picked up there was still glass all over the interior. They charged my husband for the loaner car. The car continued to have issues the entire way home and the check engine light went on before we could even get the truck home. When I called to express my disappointment- I was informed that we weren't charged enough for the glass to be picked up and that it would take 7 days to refund the loaner car. I did briefly speak to someone named Bruce last week- who was the only person to have customer service that I had communication with. read more

When I arrived at my time I was told there were 4 cars ahead of me and it would be a couple hours. So... I have mixed feelings about this dealership. The sales team seems to know their products with the exception of the Leaf EV. I leased a Leaf from them in 2016. The sales person had little understanding of the product. At the same time, I got a pretty good deal on it. I learned later I could have done better in Seattle but this is likely due to incentives Nissan gives to dealers who sell a lot of Leafs and not due to this dealership trying to fleece me. On the other hand... The service department SELLS services that customers really don't need. I personally believe this is unethical but the buyer must have an understanding of the car they buy. I paid for a break fluid flush that I later learned wasn't due for another 20K miles. I hope they like the money because it's the last the service department will ever get from me. So... three stars. I had a horrible experience and will never go back to the dealership. When my wife and I purchased our nissan rogue we had a service agreement in place. I arrived for my appointment expecting this to be my last oil change under the service agreement. I was told that I was a few weeks early and I would need to come back for the oil change. Due to my work schedule that was not possible without me taking a day off. I tried to explain this to the service department but they didn't seem to care. Even if it was a little early it shouldn't matter since I only had 1 free oil change left. What's the different if I used it now or several weeks from now. Why not work with me? Consumer Beware!! I brought my 2000 Altima in to troubleshoot a knock sensor and had to replace the radiator and was told the head gasket was blown. I do all the maintenance on this car, which ran perfectly prior to leaving with Nissan of Olympia, and now will be towed home by AAA. I let my guard down once, and this is how they treat a 26 year military veteran while I'm out of state tending to my mother in hospice. I was towed to this facility when my car broke down near Olympia, because the reviews seemed fine. I paid $1900 to have my timing belt changed, and then had to coordinate a ride from Seattle to Olympia to pick up my car. A day or so later, I noticed my air conditioning didn't work. When I called the dealership back, they initially denied that this could be their fault. They said a timing belt has nothing to do with the air conditioner, which is completely false. When I challenged this, they eventually agreed to let me bring my car back to be examined again. They refilled my AC with freon, but again, the air conditioner stopped working after a day. I called the dealership back again and they said my car was almost 10 years old and I should've expected something additional to break in the process of repairing the timing belt. I have never heard a response like this from a dealership. I reported this to Jenna, the service manager, and she was noticeably frustrated with me as a customer. She said I could bring the car back but they couldn't provide any type of refund for my trouble despite rental cars I'd rented on behalf of this inconvenience, ubers to and from work, rides back and forth from Olympia, and the inconvenience of not having a car when I needed one. Olympia Nissan admitted fault multiple times but still told me I should expect additional repairs any time I try to fix my 9 year old car. I will never be returning to this dealership, and I will be sure to notify my friends & family living in Olympia. read more

if you trade in your car and they say that they have to pay for a cleaning and detail fee, don't believe it. They are stealing your money, they won't give it a real detail they will cut corners. We had a terrible experience buying our used highlander. We won't be back. We purchased a jeep, van, and 2 rouges through this dealership. That makes it our 5th buying experience here. We always had a great experience before this time. The car we bought was filthy (covered in dog hair and smelled like dog, mud and dirt on seat belts and door panel) and they promised it would be detailed especially since they told us that they had to spend $400 per vehicle that comes in to give it a full professional 3rd party detail, after getting this car we know it's not true. It's a couple guys in the back with armorall wipes. not to mention I caught the sales people, manager, and another service attendant talking about how we are unreasonable and knit picky. This was the most disappointing part. Just talk about us when we leave like normal people. We felt like they were intentionally dragging their feet because they didn't like how we weren't satisfied with our cars cleanliness. They wasted our time and took them an hour to do nothing. We were supposed to just drop our vehicle off and be on our way. When you are spending $42,000 you l'd think you'd get a matching level of service. read more

Love my new car. however...the dealership needs some fixing. my credit score was ruined by them...because they wouldn't wait for me to go to my bank and get a check..which is how my bank does it. They tried several diff banks to get me financed, they did this without my knowledge or request. They had to wait any ways because I had to go to the bank and get a new check for them. Then the guy doing my finalizing paperwork for the car lied....about some warranty I told him I didn't want. then he said the finance company was covering the cost...but the cost of the car went up $4000, which I refused to sign for. Very dissatisfied with the service here. Fiancé brought in our Nissan Altima for a hiccup issue it was having. It was actually due to a misfire on cylinder 4 and I only know that because I bought an OBD scanner to find that out. However before that it was brought to them and they did the whole diagnosis and ended up just replacing an engine air filter and looked at the spark plugs as well as other preventative maintenance and charged us over $1000 to not even fix the issue we came in for. We ended up getting the ignition coils needed for the repair and just did it ourselves. All of which costed less than 100. I don't understand why they could not diagnose the car, determine the check engine light was thrown off due to a misfire and fix the issue. I was told about this after she came back, otherwise I would have not gone through with the services here. I have worked for a big dealership as an ASM and would not recommend services done here people. read more

Save yourself a lot of time, money and stress by not going here! I brought my 2011 Nissan Rogue into this dealership because I was experiencing a loss of stopping power on my car accompanied by a crunching/grinding noise whenever I slammed on my brakes or even pushed down on them very hard. They told me that this problem was being caused by my brakes and recommended that I replace them as well as my rotors and pads, so I had them do that work that day for $400. After I left the dealership I continued to experience the problem and was almost in a serious accident when someone stopped abruptly in front of me and I slammed on my brakes and my car did NOT stop for several feet again accompanied by a loud crunching noise. I have had my car for 3 years (have never been in an accident), and have not experienced this problem of not being able to stop with my vehicle until a few months ago. I called to let them know that my brakes were not working as they should be and the manager, Jenna was extremely rude to me on the phone and acted as if it was my problem or as if I had done something wrong. She was not patient, positive, or goal-oriented and acted completely unbothered by the fact that my brakes didn't work correctly. As someone who has worked in customer service for over 10 years, I was shocked that she was the manager because she obviously has no idea how to communicate effectively or positively. I made an appointment and brought my car in and Jenna was then extremely rude to me in person. She and a technician drove my car to test it and while they were both able to replicate the problem Jenna tried to convince me that there was nothing wrong with the crunching noise and that it was just my ABS 'functioning correctly'. I told her that I had just begun experiencing this problem a few months prior and she acted like I was wrong... She then told me that I had an oil leak and should be concerned about my engine stopping, "not my brakes not working."... as if my brakes not working isn't a serious problem. I told her that was not why I had brought my car in. It was clear she was trying to defer attention from what I brought my car in for. She then told me that she "wasn't sorry," and "wasn't going to take any responsibility because they hadn't done anything wrong." Instead of trying to help me fix and diagnose whatever is actually wrong with my car. It gives a bad name to Nissan as well as a bad name to this dealership. Why would a newer Nissan car not be able to stop when you push on the brakes? Why would this problem that has suddenly started happening be "normal"? I will be taking my car to another mechanic for better customer service, better prices and a better diagnostic! And at this point would not be surprised if it was still my rotors and brake pads that they just installed incorrectly. Oh, and for those of us trying to be community-minded and stop spreading germs during this unprecedented time - having communal honey/creamer/sugar out to be touched and used by everyone is not a safe practice. I don't believe in leaving bad yelp reviews and never have before but this experience was so remarkably negative and I was so shocked at the lack of professionalism that I felt others should be warned not to go here. read more

8 months ago when the pandemic was at its height and things were shut down, my husband and I were in a predicament. With a blended family, we needed a larger vehicle that was safe for all of us and in our price range. We knew that a Tahoe was the best option for us. We began looking and planned to buy within a year because I had strict criteria. (specific color, model, seats, year, mileage, etc.) We stumbled upon one that met my exact needs...wants... same difference ;) We began an email chain with Heather and JB at Olympia Nissan. They knew that I was an essential worker and my husband, being military, couldn't stop work due to a pandemic. They made the Tahoe available the next day for us to test drive. They sanitized it, followed COVID guidelines and really made our test drive as normal as possible. We left the vehicle there but JB did an amazing job communicating just what they needed from us if we wanted to purchase. We never felt pressured or like we were dealing with sharks. He truly made us feel like family. After weeks of following the Government orders, applying for banks, dealing with hasty paperwork due to our life circumstances, and finally saying YES, Terry helped us seal the deal. You think the love story ends there? I'm just getting started. The service department took care of our due bill as soon as they were allowed and here we are 8 months later with a beautiful Tahoe. It gets better. My husband traded in his Mustang GT 5.0 for this Tahoe... yes, he loves me. He started mentioning a month ago that he missed having a muscle car and began browsing. Having always been a Mustang guy, I was sure that was what we'd end up with. Little did I know, he actually was leaning towards Dodge. After a few test drives of different models, we knew a Charger R/T was the right fit for us. I got ahold of Heather, Terry and JB and let them know we were in the market but not in a rush. Heather got ahold of me a few weeks later. A charger that met our EXACT criteria, that was $2k under our budget had just arrived at their sister store. She was willing to have it transferred out at the end of the week to meet our schedule. We drove it and BOY was it a beauty. We came back the next day to talk business. Heather was off, so James and the sales manager, Tony, assisted us. This was new, as JB was the only man in the place during the height of the pandemic, so it was nice to meet some new faces, but scary to build trust also! We were able to negotiate a price that worked for our finances for our trade, so we carried into financing. Terry then took great care of us, as he had before. He offered only what was relevant to our needs in our lives, answered all 613 of my questions, and made us feel at home once more. Getting financing with a bankruptcy and negative equity is no joke.. he exceeded our expectations! Our car is currently at Olympia Nissan having our "extras" taken care of off of our due bill and getting a detail. As I dropped it off for this, I thought to myself... how is amazing. I worked in the car business for 5 years myself, in service and rentals. I've purchased 9 cars in the last 8 years... NOTHING has topped my experience with JB and his team. I purchased a brand new rogue from Shawn who was amazing. I give him 4 stars. I also paid to have leather seats installed at $1300. Once the deal was over I was passed to the service department. The folks are very nice, however I have never experienced such a lack of communication in my life. I was promised the next day the leather would begin. I was fooled. I have reached out to them more than they reached it to me. They had my car twice and never completes the job. The second time they had my car for three days for me to finally call and see when it's done , to find out they never even started because the leather wasn't here.... ugh what? Why didn't you communicate with me? My frustration could have been avoided!I have been here for three different appointments to be told only by me calling to pick up my car that is is t done, the leather didn't arrive. Long story short I'm extremely disappointed with the service department, their lack of communication and willingness to fix this issue. James had made a huge impression on our daughter who is huge on doing detailed research on anything she does for Customer Satisfaction. She knew what makes and models she wanted. We decided to wait it out until we could go and drive cars. So last week we were finally able to test drive cars and found a really nice 2017 Subaru Outback Wagon. James didn't push us at all. We had actually found a few other cars online with Olympia Nissan, but with used flying out the door, we found several FRESH trades and drove them. James was great to work with. Because of this, I have bought all THREE of my Nissans over the last 10 years from them using the same sales team member (Steve Perovich). A couple of weeks ago when I decided to trade in my 2017 Rogue for a 2020 version, I knew exactly who to speak to. Steve used the latest and greatest technology and service to ensure we picked out the right car for me with all the amenities that I requested. Even though I was searching for and choosing cars remotely as I could not be at the office or test drive a variety of cars prior to purchase at the time due to COVID (me being a nurse in COVID units and wanting to keep others safe), I still felt as I was there in-person and was still confident of my purchasing decisions based on my prior experiences with Steve. When I went to pick up my vehicle, I drove off the lot knowing every single detail about my car and how to use it, which made me confident in being able to use all of my amenities without fail. He was patient as I asked questions and took the time out to make sure they were all answered. It was very nice that I did not feel rushed to figure everything out. He reached out to me the next day to make sure things were to my liking and if I had any questions. I never felt pressured throughout the sales process to get something I did not want or could not afford. Steve always explains to me and ensures my understanding of what I am signing during the buying process. I come back to Olympia Nissan and the particular sales members because it feels like I am with family every time I purchase a car. And it they always make it an exciting time for me, as well. Altogether, my family have bought about 8 cars from Olympia Nissan as well as family friends I have referred to Steve throughout the last several years. I will continue to buy from them in the future with Steve because I know I will not be haggled, pressured, and will have a friendly and warm experience. I also know I will be able to purchase the exact car I am looking for with all of the particulars I ask for. I'm about a month 1/2 behind on my review but better late than never :) And sorry it will be long but it's my story Lol! I came in to Olympia Nissan with a huge dilemma. Making payments on a car was not the problem I had other issues that I won't go into detail about but I will say with winter coming up and not having a car...lets just say I truly needed a new car to keep things going. A car was the key to solving the huge dilemma I had. I wanted to get a new car, one I could keep for at least 10 years and start off with no worries about repairs. Investing in a new car was key to my survival. I walked in to Olympia Nissan and was met by Jacob Abbott. He seemed like a very nice guy from the beginning. He's a salesman at Olympia Nissan. I explained to him my dilemma...I was so shocked that he went right into "I'll help you the best I can to make it happen" mode. He was super attentive, caring, kind and considerate. He went above and beyond to help me and the whole time I'm literally in shock at the patience, care and time he took with me. He IS a nice guy and a very hard working employee. He sincerely cares about the customer. Fast forward... I was speaking with Todd McCrumb in the finance department...(still in shock and almost disbelief at this point). I'm signing paperwork to purchase my knew car. I was so in shock that when I signed the papers Todd said to me something to the effect of "Most people I know are really excited to get a new car". I told him I was excited...I was screaming for JOY on the inside but I was in such shock that I was "actually" getting a NEW car that I honestly couldn't react. I was speechless and trying not to break down and cry I was so happy!! Todd is super nice, patient and was very helpful with any questions I had. I appreciate all his help. Jacob and Todd worked tirelessly with me...I have no words to express the gratitude and appreciation that I have for these two gentlemen at Olympia Nissan. Because of the help I received I drove off their lot withe brand new car!!!! I'm a spiritual person and I believe in miracles and this was a miracle for sure!! (I've been telling all my friends if they are in the market for a new car to go to Olympia Nissan!) **NEXT: About a few weeks later after I got the car I had an manufacturer issue. I know things happen and nothing is perfect. My rear window glass all of a sudden became wavy and blurry. It was the craziest thing and I had no idea what was going on. I just know I couldn't see out of my rear window and it wasn't safe. I took my car in to the service department and spoke with Jenna Myrfield the service manager...and it was verified the rear window needed to be replaced. I had concerns about the glass not being an OEM (original equipment) part. I had a million questions for Jenna she answered them all. Jenna was patient and assured me the part would be OEM. She ordered the part right then and it was delivered within a week! I came in to get the window replaced still concerned about the glass being OEM. I asked to see the glass before installation...I spoke with Russell Moore the parts manager (very cool and nice guy!) He allowed me to see the windshield before installation and it was an OEM part. "Everyone" in the service department was so cool with all the questions and concerns I had and it was amazing and a great experience! When you have a new car and something goes wrong that's a sinking feeling but they made sure I stayed afloat!! My window was replaced and installed by Genuine Auto Glass Oly/Lacey and the installer was Justin..Fantastic guy and great job!! Thanks again Olympia Nissan!! Sales Staff (Heather and one more guy) provides wrong information about condition of car. They take photos in angle to hide scratches, paint damage and dents. I looked at car online and called them to validate car condition and later, I drove for 3 hours to make purchase. When I checked, it had 4 places where paint was damaged up to 2 inch in size. They didnt inform or listed in TrueCar or took photo to show those. They just apologized for miscommunication about car condition and didnt want to even fix the car. Finance guy was not sure if it was rental car or one owner car and only interested to upsell more maintenance plan. Truecar says that they honor Home delivery and they said, sorry cant doi it. After making payment, they said OOps, there are no two keys. You need to make your own and sorry we can give you any money for it. Try buying it from more genuine dealer or private preview instead of these jokers who will make you upset at every small thing which you expect from them. read more

My husband and I were treated very well by Chris Woodruff and the staff at Olympia Nissan. We came to just look after work and I fell in love with a MINI Countryman. The late hour didn't stop Mr. Woodruff from working with us on financing and giving us a great deal. I drove off in my new MINI that evening!
