Went to Restore Hyper Wellness yesterday to check out the services they offer. They were SO knowledgeable and helpful. Jackie gave me a tour and helped me learn more about cryotherapy. It's an awesome experience if you have never tried it. I tried out the compression therapy on my legs and let me tell you, you will LOVE how relaxing it is. I felt rejuvenated as I left Restore! I came here on a Saturday afternoon hoping for a calm and relaxing experience with IV Vitamin infusion. Instead, I left in tears with a headache, two anxiety attacks, a popped vein in my right arm, a poke in my left arm, and a wasted 45 minutes plus an hour drive of my Saturday afternoon. My first impressions were not very good. Upon entering the business, I walked by an employee vaping less than 10 feet away from the front doors (hyper wellness). I was greeted promptly, and directed to sit where I would like, and an intake would be performed. I sat in a reclining chair in the IV room, and the same employee that was vaping outside came to take my blood pressure. Another employee came with the menu card to ask me what service I would like, and I chose. A third employee gave me a tablet and asked me to fill out some questionnaires, which I informed them I completed at home. They checked, and it didn't sync over, so I had to fill them out again. Another, 4th employee came to get my blood pressure reading. After that was over, I became concerned because a song came on, that was not so relaxing, a thrash metal song. It was very out of place for a wellness/med spa atmosphere, and was making me feel uncomfortable. I was looking at a room across from the IV room where the music seemed to be coming from, and many employees were gathered there, talking. I was very concerned that they seemed "ok" with this music. As soon as I could get someone's attention, I said, "I don't like this song, it's giving me anxiety and making me very uncomfortable, can you please turn it off?" They informed me, "It's the cryotherapy clients, here, let me shut the door." I asked, "What, so they can play whatever music they want?" She nodded. I asked, "Can't they just wear headphones?" She just looked over at the room where the music was coming from. I could still hear the music, even though the glass door was shut, and the adrenaline was rising inside of me. After the song was over, I burst into tears, letting go of the adrenaline and anxiety. I was offered a glass of water. Very concerned, I asked another employee, "Is that song going to come on again?" I can't do this if there is going to be thrash metal, I can't relax. They assured me everything was going to be ok. I tried to calm down and relax, waiting for my IV therapy. A fifth employee came in and said she would be administering the IV therapy and had to talk about my medical history with a nurse practitioner. As I had time to look around the room, all of the waste baskets by the reclining chairs were full, and it looked gross. Are the employees "too good" to empty waste baskets? By the time she came back, I had BEEN WAITING 45 MINUTES. She tried to find a vein in my right arm, but popped it, then started poking in my left arm. As I was starting to have my doubts, THE THRASH METAL SONG CAME ON AGAIN!!!! I said to her, no, I can't do this, the song is on again, it gives me anxiety, this is supposed to be a calm and relaxing experience, I have to go, I have to go. The adrenaline was rising and I headed out the door as I was having a 2nd panic attack at Restore, where they have words on the wall like "Healing", "Restore", etc. I am a tired mom of three kids on the autism spectrum. My fight/flight response is very sensitive. I advocated for myself and the staff did not listen. I am vitamin-deficient despite supplementation and my nurse suggested IV-vitamin therapy. COMING HERE WAS A BIG MISTAKE. It seems they can't tell their cryotherapy clients to wear headphones and make everyone in the whole practice listen to their playlist. I had to deal with 5 different employees and felt very confused, like I was being passed along and no one told me what to expect next. I am not some wealthy mom from the Walnut Creek/Pleasant Hill area, I drove from Vallejo, and I am a tired and overwhelmed mom. After this horrible experience, I did not even get a call from the office, even though multiple employees saw me crying and visibly upset. My face gets red and splotchy when I cry, and stays that way for at least 30-40 minutes. For such expensive services, the customer service is horrible, they treated me like they didn't care. read more

My mom and I stopped by Restore hyper wellness this past Monday for an intro offer for their compression boots and a cryotherapy session. We have both been experiencing inflammation and soreness in our body and thought that this would be a great way to provide relief. After texting the business, they were able to get us in for a same-day appointment AND at a special deal! We came in and were greeted by Kristen who set us up for all of our services. The compression boots were amazing, relaxing, and really helped breakdown lactic acid in our legs. I finished off my treatments with a session of cryotherapy. My body dropped 30° from the experience and I instantly felt energized and also more focused! We had a great experience with Kristen and will definitely be back! read more

My experience here over a year went from positive and I look forward to going to "I'm frustrated with all the complicated rules, bureaucracy, and inability to use the credits I've accumulated." Memberships - they will charge you and keep charging you after you cancel. Then tell you that you need to come more and use credits accumulating after you cancelled. See the review by CY below. I can attest that all of these ridiculous business practices are happening! The rules change after you already paid and you can no longer use your credits because of new rules when you could not get an appointment for months because of no staff. Also the app shows all of your just paid credits expiring!! I was a big fan of cryo and IVs and loved the staff here but the corporation and management made me walk out. The whole " we can change the rules week by week" thing and bizarre complex rules make this place somewhere I do not recommend. read more

I want to start by saying I've been a client with restore at their pleasant hill location since its opening. Since then it has been issue after issue at this location. I had a membership and bought several packages that went unused more almost a year due to issues with staff. Particularly a previous manager named Abe. After going almost a year being charged and unable to use services I purchased due to lack of nurses at this location. I was informed I could drive to Sacramento or folsom which I was not willing to do. I gave them another chance after meeting the new manager(Cassie). She was greay, took the time to work with me and listen to my previous issues without brushing me off and offered solutions that ultimately made me decide to give Restore another chance. She was able to get me set up for service promptly and is one of the hardest workers I've seen. During my visit she made sure I was catered too( tea, blankets, water) all while being short staffed and seemingly keeping everyone walking thru the door happy and attended to. It seemed the issues with staffing were fixed Now once again after changes in staff(once again a new manager, once again no nurses on site to perform services being pre paid for) I have lost complete confidence in this business. I have had numerous talks with upper management as well to no avail. Poor management, poor employee retention. The only staff that remains are what they call wellness reps. Their esthetician is wonderful and very knowledgeable of products and services. Jackie is now the only reason to frequent this business. There is so much potential but i don't see a sustainable business here with the constant issues they have with staffing. The Assistant Manager Kristin, the nurses, and the staff are incredible. Super kind, friendly, knowledgable, helpful, and they're fun to talk to and hang out with while getting treatments. The store itself is having trouble getting and keeping nurses on staff so getting an appointment has become incredibly challenging and really is frustrating when paying so much for a monthly membership. With that said, that's not the above mentioned fault. That's a problem higher up. read more

Jackie is a gem!! She's incredibly welcoming, warm kind and knowledgeable. I got my first hydrofacial from her late last year and I had the best experience. My skin was glowing and Jackie was nice to talk to during my facial. Today I had my first cryofacial, it was really relaxing, which I was pleasantly surprised by. I can only say amazing things about this place! Let's start with location. It's situated in downtown Pleasant Hill, so plenty of free parking. I was able to take a brisk walk down the plaza for lunch to make it a full day of self care. Next, the customer service. I made my appointment on the app, but had to call because I was running 5 min behind. They were so understanding and pushed back my appointment 10 min so I could have the full experience of my service. When I arrived I was greeted with smiles and given a run down on all the features the private infrared sauna includes. I forgot to mention, the app was super easy to navigate! The amenities in the sauna room was well thought out, from entertainment options to a shower set up. I'm obsessed and cannot wait to come back. I would absolutely take my service elsewhere. It's unfortunate when you're excited about an appointment and get stuck with horrible customer service. Front desk PERLA needs to be trained on professionalism. Extremely rude to my husband and the attitude she had towards him was absolutely vile. My husband followed the directions on how to arrive for your appointment properly. He arrived 10 minutes early like it was said to do and then was told we're not open and wait outside. This was at 950am. He then proceeded to wait outside. Then a woman came shook the door at about 958am. Perla opened the door and let her in and proceeded to start helping her after knowing my Husband is right outside clearly looking at him. My husband let it go and after a few minutes said excuse me not to be rude and let her know that he was already outside waiting and had an appointment. She told him in a disgusting Voice "it's first come, first serve" my husband then said I have an appointment at 10 and the lady clearly does not and she basically told him to screw off with her attitude and That she was going to call security on him. I then called and asked for the front desk lady names and the manager on site. PERLA and CASEY. My husband finally got a phone call with the manager CASEY he explained the actions of the employee PERLA and then only to be fully blamed on being a MALE and the employee PERLA was so called scared all though her attitude would say otherwise. He was also told the encounter is all on video and we would also like the video to confirm of this so called scary accusation. The phone was on speaker the whole time and I listened to how she barely took her employees actions into consideration saying that my husband basically shouldn't have expressed his opinions. CASEY then started getting an attitude with my husband and I then took the phone and asked for a higher up phone and email information and then was told to wait for an email with the information and is now being told that we're not allowed back at the store ever in a very nasty voice. Casey took my email and then I was told I needed to wait a couple days. She also laughed over the phone as the phone call was ending I told her thank you so much for your help and I would hope your employees would be better. All we were hoping for was an apology and couldn't even receive that. It's upsetting when you're starting your wellness journey and this is how it begun. I have tried canceling our memberships for over three months. I have texted, called, emailed, and physically gone in to cancel. Every time, I get told a different response from a different employee. I'm still being charged over $200 a month despite asking numerous times to cancel. I have now been forced to work with my banking institution's fraud department to stop this.
