My daughter and I have been patients of Beyond Chiropractic for a number of years, and I have seen the practice and services steadily grow. There is a lot of staff with this woman-owned business and I am pleased to see the services include physiotherapy and accupuncture. In addition to chiropractic adjustment my daughter and I get physical therapy from Lloyd and an occasional therapeutic massage. Lloyd provides great information and good individualized treatment. The reception staff is friendly and caring. I appreciate that they keep me informed as the insurance coverages seem to change continually. This has to be a challenge because every patient's insurance coverage seems to be different. Arranging appointments with Anna or Dana is easy, and Catherine is a great help as well. My daughter was a little suspicious of chiropractic adjustment but the process was explained and modifications were made. The adjustments and treatments have helped significantly. I did a follow up visit after one week. This time with different chiropractor, Dr. McKenna. They must have read my previous reviews since they asked if I want the door closed. I really appreciate it. We discussed my hip problems and through a thorough discussion, the issues the way I exercise my glutes. Dr. McKenna show me the proper way of avoiding the problem in the future by giving me a demonstration and it works that I don't have any pain anymore. I know they wanted me to come for a follow up visit but I decided not to since my hip problems is gone. My office experience this time is less chaotic compared to my first visit. I think it has to do with possibly of not having to go the extensive exams like the last time. I recommend for first timer to being vocal on the problem, trying out a different chiropractor if necessary, being open minded, and most important, speak up on your comfort level. read more

They go the extra mile, offering not only chiropractic care but also physical therapy, massage therapy, specialized stretching, TENS unit treatments, and much, much more. I've been here in the past and my experiences have always been wonderful, but today I want to highlight one person in particular: Lloyd Gegeniento, Physical Therapist. This guy is awesome! He is a truly hands-on physical therapist -- a rare art in today's PT world. I can say this with confidence because I am currently undergoing physical therapy for shoulder rehabilitation and have been receiving chiropractic treatment for my back. When given the option between massage therapy or physical therapy here, I chose PT -- and the results have been nothing short of miraculous. How do I know this? Because I'm doing physical therapy at two different places for two different issues. At my other facility, my therapist was amazed and told me, "Wow, I've never seen an arm improve this quickly. You're far ahead of where most people are at this stage." The truth is, my progress skyrocketed after starting therapy with Lloyd. My range of motion and pain levels have improved exponentially. I had back pain for my entire life. I was just about fed up with it all when I decided to drop into Dr. Mory's office, a last ditch effort before getting a Thai back massage. She took me in, like a stray dog off the street, despite me having only learned of the place moments before and thus not having an appointment, and despite being busy with other clients. From that point on, she worked on my body and spine in such a way that I feel like a normal human being again, to the point where I want to take up dancing (Let's not get carried away, it's just how I felt). What followed was three weeks of intensive reparative chiropractic care that I was definitely long overdue for. Apparently the culprit is a pinched nerve in my neck that affects my back pain, something I would never have guessed on my own. Dr. Mory really cares about making her customers feel normal and functioning again, and I very much appreciate that. I've been visiting Beyond Chiropractic for 4 years and have spent thousands of dollars with them for chiropractic treatment and massage. I've generally had a good experience and gotten relief from aches and pains. My negative review is due to whoever handles their billing. Beyond Chiropractic takes medical insurance. Which is great, once I hit my deductible for the year I'm able to get adjustments and massages for a much lower rate. However last year they made a mistake and over estimated my insurance's portion and under estimated mine. Something like an extra $20 per visit. This would've been no big deal if it was caught after a couple of visits. But they didn't catch it until about 10 visits later so I ended up owing them several hundred dollars. This is was very frustrating and I stopped visiting them for a while. Fast forward to this year and I've visited a few times and was told I actually over paid a little bit and had a credit. Cool. I visit a few more times and use my credit. Then I start receiving texts and voicemails that they didn't charge me the correct amount again and I owe them money, again. Sounds like you guys made a mistake and expect your customers to pay for it. I paid what I was told was my bill at every visit and I won't be back. read more

I had my first visit to Beyond Chiropractic today. My first communication was with Jetta to ask questions, and then make the appointment. She was so friendly and very knowledgeable about the services offered. Dr. McKenna was my Chiropractor, and her consultation was very detailed, and the various stretching, massaging, adjusting, etc., was on point. The other services included in this visit was unexpected, but certainly welcomed and needed. Dr. McKenna's assistant Paige performed cupping, blading, stretching, massaging and other techniques I had never had done before as part of my Chiro. self-care regimen. I've had chronic shoulder, neck and lower back achiness for a long time. I left out of the office feeling lighter and less tense/tight. This was my first visit, but I would recommend them based on this first impression. I've already made my next appointment. I had a GREAT massage therapist and chiropractor in So. I have friends that have been going to see Dr. Mory for a while and when I started working with a trainer and my shoulder has been inhibiting my workouts, I asked for the info and made an appointment to see Dr. Mory. I was really skeptical going in because I've never gone to a chiropractor before, but I felt incredible afterwards and I knew Dr. Mory was going to become a part of my life from here on out. Then in my second session, she introduced me to Brandon (who is now bestie). Brandon was tasked with working on my shoulder (it crunches when I lift overhead). When Dr. Mory walked into the room - she jokingly said "I can see her silently screaming" (my face down). They recommended I spent an hour with Brandon - I legit hate massages because I still feel stiff and tight afterwards but I agreed because even just 10 minutes with Brandon I was feeling different. I can actually feel how he's undoing years of built up tightness and stiffness. I also have never met someone who can hurt me (in the best way possible) and make me laugh out loud at the time. My plantar fasciitis flared up recently and I told Dr. Mory and she instantly went to work and it's been healing weeks faster than the last time I had a flare up and never sought any treatment. I love this office!! I have been going to Dr. Mory for 6 months or so for pain in my left knee. I could not jog or have full range of motion. This was my first visit to a chiropractor physician and I would never return to this place. I thought it was a bit weird that I could get a same day appt, but after my visit it made sense. I have been struggling with lower back pain for 4 years and finally wanted to get to the root of what was going on. I met with Dr. Bekah who basically said hi then had an assistant start working on me with multiple modalities. No physical/visual assessment was performed. I immediately was confused. Then she came in to do her alignment which was all of 1 min and then asked if I had any questions... literally nothing was explained to me or investigated. So I finally asked her what was wrong with me and she explained "based upon my symptoms" she suspects a sprain, to which my fiancé asked a sprain could last for 4 years? And she replied yes. To reiterate, this was my first time ever meeting with a chiropractor, but even as a nurse, I know the most important part of diagnosis is a thorough assessment. This was never done. My 30-45 min initial visit primarily was conducted by an assistant who came into the room and put electrodes on the wrong side of my back which I had to correct her and she stated "the doctor told her the opposite side." Again, it seemed there was zero attention to detail here, a complete mill, and I none of my symptoms improved. I would absolutely NOT recommend this place to anyone suffering from back pain or any pain for that matter. read more
