Dr. Meyer is the real deal. After years of back pain that no amount of stretching or ibuprofen could touch, I walked in skeptical and walked out feeling like a new person. He actually takes the time to explain what's going on with your spine instead of just cracking you and sending you out the door. His adjustments are precise and gentle -- no aggressive twisting that leaves you sore for days. The office is clean, the staff is friendly, and he never pushes unnecessary packages or upsells. You can tell he genuinely cares about getting you better, not just keeping you coming back. If you're dealing with chronic pain, sciatica, or just want to feel aligned again, Dr. Meyer is worth every penny. Five stars, no hesitation. read more

I received great care from a Doctor Who is concerned about my health. The office staff reflects that same enthusiasm.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Meyer. He has an uncanny ability to adjust your back with minimal discomfort, making each visit both comfortable and reassuring. From the moment you walk into his office, it's clear that he prioritizes patient care and invests in top-quality equipment. His clinic is easily one of the most well-equipped chiropractic offices I've ever visited. He offers a wide range of advanced equipment and treatments, including adjustment benches, traction machines, and TENS units that can treat your entire back at once--effectively helping to release deep muscle tension. Every time I arrive, I'm usually dealing with significant pain and stiffness in my back and neck. By the time I leave, I feel a noticeable improvement in both mobility and pain levels. Dr. Meyer also provides easy-to-follow instructional videos that are incredibly helpful for continuing therapy at home. He truly knows what he's doing, and his care consistently makes a difference. I found Dr. Meyer on this site, and what made me want to visit his office is the different types of treatments he uses to help his patients with their pain. I've been to other chiropractors previously, but they only do traditional chiropractor care. Dr. Meyer is very knowledgeable and addressed any of my concerns, especially the pain that comes with treatments. I haven't had any treatments done yet, but the initial meeting and discussion with Dr. Meyer was amazing as it helped me to understand what is needed to make my spine heal. Looking forward to my treatments. read more

Well my check in was shortened. Here's my review. Finding this place has been life changing for me. The pain I use to feel was absolutely unbearable, I don't know why I lived with the pain for so long. That's why taking this home care "recommendation " seriously is what is going to help you get better. You can't expect your body to heal if you don't put in the effort. Twice a day I foam roll & cat cow stretch my body & it is absolutely essential for keeping my body in check. Along with eating right, taking supplements and other exercise of course. Dr Meyer listens to me. I might feel great one week and horrid another. But I am making progress! I am not crawling in there in pain, my headaches have stopped a lot & my ability to get up from a sitting position is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I will continue to follow the home care for the rest of my life as well as be a patient for life. read more

After traveling to and from Asia, my neck was a mess. A pinched nerve triggered severe, shocking pain whenever I turned my head, sometimes impairing my vision. The pain was so intense at times that it brought me to my knees. Thankfully, my sister called her chiropractor, and I had an appointment within the hour. What a relief! Dr. Meyer spent about 10 minutes evaluating me, then performed adjustments for another 10 minutes--and I felt good as new. When he asked me to turn my head in a way that had previously caused excruciating pain, I hesitated. But when I did, the pain was completely gone. I was stunned. Dr. Meyer immediately struck me as incredibly present and engaged. Despite having only a few minutes to review my intake form, he got straight to work. I was nervous, having never seen a chiropractor before, and my symptoms had been getting worse. But his easygoing, confident manner put me at ease. Not only am I grateful for the relief, but my entire body feels better than ever! A huge thank you to Dr. Meyer and everyone at East Bay Disc Centers. read more

Dr. Meyer has great expertise in chiropractic care. I always feel better after being adjusted.

After a year of debilitating sciatica pain, I visited Dr. Meyer in October of 2024. Despite multiple trips to my doctor's office, where I was prescribed various medications and stretching exercises, my condition only worsened. I was even told I could remain in this state for another year. When I arrived for my first appointment at East Bay Disc Centers, I was hunched over and unable to stand up straight. Although I wasn't completely healed after that initial visit, I experienced significant relief. Dr. Meyer created a personalized treatment plan, and within two weeks, I was back on my feet and able to resume my life. Whenever I've been out of town for a few weeks, my first stop upon returning is always Dr. Meyer's office. I am incredibly grateful to him and the entire team at East Bay Disc Centers for their dedication to my recovery. Their facility is top-notch, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, and their professionalism is unmatched. Dr. Meyer's precision and expertise have made a lasting impact on my health. I started Spinal Decompression Treatments with Dr. Meyer and Carolina a few weeks ago after much evaluation. I have multiple issues with my back and didn't want to continue getting cortisone injections in my back every 4 months. I can already notice some minor changes. Circulation to my cold feet has improved, along with a better feeling overall. I've only had 3 treatments, so I'll update here as I progress. I want to say thank you to Carolina for explaining everything and helping me out when I come in. And thank you to Dr. Meyer for being a skilled chiropractor and a great listener. That being said, Dr Meyer was the one who picked up the phone, and with a genuinely humble attitude, he generously offered his time and thoughtfully listened to what I had to say. Because of this, we were able to have a fruitful conversation within a relatively short amount of time. To me, this showcases his intelligence as well as his keen sense of empathy. I have worked with Dr Meyer's since late December to work with a spine injury that was slated for front and back surgery in the lower lumbar region. I had previous fusion and then displaced 2 discs and 2 vertebra's. I've had 24 sessions of decompression therapy and am very grateful and almost pain free, except when I try to do to much. I thought permanent disability was on the table. I'm now going to start back at my physically demanding job, slowly but with lots of hope. Anyone would be foolish not to try decompression therapy before a risky surgery. Highly recommend! Also: Bonus, I gained a 1/2 inch in my height!!! read more

In October 2019, I experienced range of motion issues associated with my neck. I could not move my head from left to right without acute pain in my neck. It was so bad that I had sleepless nights. Then, in December 2019, my good friend referred me to Dr. Meyer. At the first visit, he did a thorough evaluation, reviewed imaging reports, and presented me with a plan to address my concerns. Within a couple of weeks of office visits (3 times per week) and following his care plan, I had OUTSTANDING symptom improvement. He had multiple techniques to address my problem areas and gave me overall health and wellness education. I continue seeing Dr. Meyer on a regular basis. My neck issues are substantially improved and I hope to get back to baseline with his help. His chiropractic skills are amazing and I feel like I am in the best hands. Thank you Dr. Meyer! read more

I had my consultation at East Bay Disc Centers a little over a month ago and I began decompression therapy about two weeks ago. Right from the start I knew I was at the right place. I immediately felt comfortable from the time I walked in. Carolina always greets you and lets you know what you will be doing during your visit and also assists with most things that you do. Dr. Meyer is also super polite understanding and comforting. In just the short period of time that I've been visiting his office he has helped me understand more about my current condition and educated me in many ways. I'm truly grateful to have found such a great place to begin healing on the back pain I've suffered with for many years. In just two weeks I'm already experiencing some changes and I'm positive that soon I'll be much better. I look forward to continuing my treatment at East Bay Disc Center and I definitely recommend anyone to give them a try. Update: I still go to East Bay Disc Center for regular weekly adjustments after finishing decompression in April. I have not had anymore issues with my sciatica.
