Office and rooms are clean. Staff is very nice. I went here for a couple of months in 2023. I had severe sciatica and I thought they would be able to treat it. I paid close to $3k for my visits and I still walked away with sciatica pain. I paid out of pocket because my insurance did not cover chiropractor treatment. Now, if you have insurance, give it a try, but if you're paying out of pocket, I wouldn't recommend it. Obviously, it depends what you're getting treated for so everyone's experience will vary. I have had better results and much more pain relief with acupuncture for my sciatica and it's more affordable. read more

I just completed a nearly four month chiropractic care program with Dr Megan. I'll admit the initial consultation was informative with the added sales pitch, but there's no way around it if your goal and priority is to get your health back on track. It is an expensive investment no question about it but it has made a huge difference in my posture and freedom of movement. Allow me to share my experience with the crew at Intero and Dr. Megan. I have been suffering for years with hip and back issues related to a motorcycle accident about 10 years ago. After multiple surgeries, numerous rehab stints, acupuncture, and other chiropractic treatments; I never found relief to my aches and pains. Earlier this year, my wife was experiencing neck and shoulder pain. We found Intero and did our research. Booked an appointment for the wife and went thru an evaluation. I found Intero on Facebook and viewed the video which intrigued me. After X-rays and a consultation, I met Dr. Chris who explained the X-rays to me and the areas of my spine that affected my mobility and causes for pain. The adjustments are targeted each visit. I got rear ended a couple months ago. Dr Megan has been adjusting me and really knows where things hurt. She always gets my neck to release a lot of pressure making me feel better after each session. First, I would just like to say thank you to Dr. Jerry for giving this issue your personal attention! Dr. Jerry called, wanting to figure out why I did not know what would take place during the first appointment. He said I should have been informed of the process and what to expect. He also wanted to know how they could improve this process so that it doesn't happen to others. I gave him my opinions and he listened. He then asked if they could make things right by giving me a free adjustment, and I accepted. I went to the Pleasanton office for this, parking in front of the office, and was seen by Dr. Zak. He too apologized for any miscommunications, explained the process, showed me my X-rays, pointed out my problems, adjusted my spine and hip, and asked that I come back for another complimentary adjustment, and I accepted. Dr. Zak was very professional, nice, answered all my questions with explanations, and I could tell that he cares about his work and patients. There were no miracles, but the adjustments helped a lot, and for that I am grateful. Intero Chiropractic has shown me that they want to provide the best service possible. Best health decision I have made in a long time to select Intero Chiropractic and Dr. Megan. Most comprehensive work up (x ray, mobility assessment, physical exam w split scale to determine imbalances, and treatment plan with an achievable goal)--then 3x a week adjustments for the first month (and wow Dr Megan is strong but uses an inflammation detecting device for focused adjustments). After a month my spine and neck just feel better with significantly reduced pain and incredible range of motion improvements. Just had my mid way follow up and reassessment and then attended a complimentary body mechanic seminar for patients to learn more about posture for sitting and sleeping. Just like a lot of people - I was wary about going to see a chiropractor. Update: the owner of the business, Jerry called me directly, to ask me what happened during my first visit and how could he make it right. I decided to give them a second chance and go back in for the consultation, personally just curious on how much they were going to tell me my treatment plan was. The actual chiropractor went through how Gonstead method works, how the instruments work and then went over the charts in the room step by step, went over my xrays, showed me I had compressed disk, explained how that was affecting my bowels (which by the way I have no problem with and never said I was) and then got to the treatment plan. Honestly, if I had never been to a chiropractor before ever and didn't know the different types of methods chiropractors used, their consultation is probably spot-on to understand how things work and what to expect from adjustments and treatment. Except I have and I wanted a Gonstead chiropractor, so I know how this works, I didn't need the speel. Never did find out how much they were going to charge me for a treatment plan because I was getting annoyed having to re-explain everything again and especially since I went there in the first place for my shoulder problem, not my non-existence problems. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The atmosphere is good. The wait time is a bit long. I went three times and I had to wait over twenty minutes past my appointment time each time before the doctor saw me. I saw Dr. Luke. He is friendly. However, I was not satisfied with the adjustments. Each session only lasts 10 minutes or so with very minor adjustments. In my opinion, not worth the $95 per visit charge. Also x-ray at first visit cost $200 which I did not know about, and no adjustments were made. So the first visit is $200 for only the x-ray. I considered the Stockton location but the wait time was over three weeks for an appointment so I decided to take my business elsewhere. read more

Intero chiropractic is an incredible practice. I've suffered my whole life with so many issues I never even knew stemmed from my misaligned spine.. the top of the list was my digestion. I had a colonoscopy at the age of 19 looking for answers I never found until I found intero. It was because of my spine! At intero they don't just treat for the pain, they treat for your holistic quality of every day life. Such a game changer. When I was young I broke my tailbone and never had it corrected. On top of that I did ballet for 12 years. My entire pelvis was tilted and my entire spine was curving left as a result. I've never been able to do unilateral leg movements and just thought my balance was terrible. I did my first jump lunges last week! My workouts that once felt challenging now feel even and proper after a few months of regular adjustments at intero. I've lived in Dublin for a year and am now moving to Folsom. So, because I have read reviews before making an appt. Nothing was a surprise to me. I knew from reading they don't take insurance and I also knew that because when I had the initial call, that was explained to me. So all good there. I have been in pain with my back for 15 years and cannot seem to get better. All due to multiple car accidents. I didn't have to wait long when I came in. The nice assistant (I feel bad. I forgot her name) took me back and took down information and we did movements to see where my pain was, etc. She was super nice and personable. She listened to me. So everything all good. Did my x-rays with Dr. Kim. He showed them to me and said he and the other Dr. Would review and come up with a plan and review at my next visit. Okay all good. So here is where I get pissed off. I have read other reviews and yeah because of this- this all seemed like a scam! NOT COOL. If I'm feeling like this- then you need to train your staff. So- I went to pay the $200 and make my next appt. All good. I ask... "Next week, how much will I have to pay for my next visit?" It wasn't WHAT she said. It was HOW she said it. She says... "I don't know." So I say, "okay so I'm going to walk in here and you may tell me this visit today is $3,000?" She says, " I don't know. You can discuss with the Dr. They offer payment plans." WAIT WHAT?! I'm telling you it was the WAY she was saying it. I wish I could attach a recording. She sounded like one of those creepy people in the scary movies dragging out "i dont know." I kept asking. I must have asked like 5 times. She answered the same way every time. "I don't know." But it was the way she was saying it. THIS IS WHY IM QUESTIONING "Is this all a scam?!" Front desk is like a first impression. This girl needs work! She also said "I don't know. I'm sorry No one explained this to you?" WTF! I literally kept repeating myself because I was NOT getting it. I said "So let me get this straight. I have an appt next week. I'm going to come in that day. And you cannot tell me what I have to pay?" She kept saying "I don't know." So let me make this very clear- I totally understand not knowing because of certain treatments for different people. However- even if you don't know, you explain to me how the process works. Give me something besides I don't know. THAT IS NOT THE WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS. So instead of telling me the way the process works.... it's "I don't know." I have been in pain for years. I have bulging disc's. And I was really hoping this would be a miracle for me. But I'm really wondering if this is all a scam- all because of my front desk experience. Again- I understand that the doctor will see me on my next visit to go over a plan with Me. But my question was simply "How much will the visit be?" Thats fine If you don't know, but tell me how the process works. I'm telling you- it wasn't WHAT she was saying It was HOW. it was actually scaring me. And then when I would ask she would just stare at me. She would just STARE AT ME. " I DONT KNOW. I'm sorry No one explained this to you." You cannot run a business like this/like that. I'm asking to be prepared and make sure I have the money. So I'm going to come in and you tell me something obnoxious like "you owe us $3000 for your visit today." I said that to her and all she kept saying was the dr. Can offer payment plans. Thats cool and all- but TELL ME HOW THIS WORKS! SO NOT COOL. Again I kept asking her and asking her. The least she could do is explain to me how the process works. I just really don't know what to say. I really want to give this all a try because moat days my pain is unbearable. Im in tears all the time. I have problems sitting, standing, walking, being on my feet, laying down. I just want to feel better. I am too young for all this. UPDATE: Dr. Jerry, who owns Intero called to find out what happened during my dad's visit. He agreed that a doctor must have reviewed the results with us instead of a case manager. He explained the usual procedure and offered a free adjustment and told that a doctor will be available to discuss the x-ray results. We went to Pleasanton location (my dad is staying with my sister's family in SR) and Dr. Luke explained the X-Ray results and answered our questions. He also gave an adjustment to my dad. It was a pleasant experience this time around. Took my father for sciatica relief. As others mentioned in their reviews, met with two case managers in two visits and the second case manager gave two quotes for the treatment plan: one in lump sum and another for "not a lump sum". My mind went blank seeing those numbers as they are really on the high side (for us). I was already irritated that there is no Dr to review the x-ray results. Just case managers. So, I did not react well to the prices. I decided to take time and talk to my father in private before we commit to anything. I just did not get the feeling that I can trust them with these adjustments on my 78 year old father (even though I went with an open mind). A single adjustment that day would have cost us $150. There was some back and forth of how much did you expect would be reasonable for you (I guess it is bargaining?) and how I am making a decision to let my father suffer longer by delaying the treatment plan etc. Yes, I do understand that everyone has to make a living.
