Grace and the staff are miracle workers. I currently have the membership which allows for 2 1 hour massages a month. Let me tell you, they will get your body feeling right. This is a not a relaxing massage but it's def what your body needs. Def more sports massage focused. They have you sit on compression therapy before the massage which I think helps alot. Staff are always so friendly and it's easy to make appointments. I also am doing sessions in their hyperbaric chamber and cryotherapy is available! Parking is easy in their lot. Okay..,I had researched the research, read opinions and saw many demo/user videos...and it was finally time to JUST DO IT. So with my hubby in tow for support, I did my first cryotherapy session, and it was amazing. My introvert mind was wowed at the friendly experience, happy clients, and the staff's endearing customer service. Yes, it's cold but not North Dakota in the winter cold. Grace and her team were absolute angels and never left my side. Their encouraging words and my husband's jokes made the three minutes fly by. It was exhilarating stepping out and walking around. I felt like a champion. I was previously skeptical of some folks in the waiting area saying that they felt like they received from Cryo new knees, joints, back, etc, but I can testify that afterwards within minutes of getting out to change back into my clothes, my knees started feeling better, my hips/lower back weren't screaming at me as much, and my mood was lifted to hot cacao almond milk on Christmas Eve heights. That session night my sleep was so comfortable and restful. The next day and thereafter, I'm still feeling the pain release and positive after effects. I feel so tremendously blessed to have found this place. As someone who loves to be warm year round, I now look forward to getting my cold therapy as part of my self care regimen. After explaining my pain issue with my back, Grace immediately knew the problem, & had a tactical solution to get me back on the golf course. My experience at Bodyfix was simply amazing. I am! A Believer!!! Right after running the half marathon in Monterey, my left hip started to hurt really bad, so much so that I could not move my leg. I felt completely battered. I immediately called BodyFIX as per recommendation of a coworker, and I am so glad that I did!!! Grace, the lovely owner, proposed the NormaTec Compression Therapy. My mid-torso was wrapped around this vest like unit that applied compressed air to massage my hips. I was told that by doing this, faster recovery and rehabilitation of my muscles will occur. The vest unit squeezed my mid-torso which was an uneasy feeling, as if my body was getting wrung out. With proper instructions on my breathing, I was able feel at ease for the remainder of the procedure. My legs got the same treatment. My legs felt tingly and warm, but not a bad sensation at all. For me, the legs were more tolerable. For next time, I know what to expect. I also did the The Game Ready System. It was a combination of hot and cold therapy to facilitate quicker recovery and tissue repair. To end my session, I had the Cryotherapy. Now, this part of my therapy made me totally anxious. Though it was explained to me that this is a beneficial part of any fitness and health plan to optimize overall wellness, diminish chronic pain, and inflammation, I couldn't get over the fact that I had to stay three minutes inside an intensely freezing chamber. My heart rate and oxygen saturation were monitored throughout the procedure as Grace stood just outside the door offering reassurance and comfort. I was expecting instantaneous results, but truth be told, I went home after my session still limping, and my entire body extremely sore. However, I woke up the next day refreshed. I could feel more movement to my left hip and the general achiness lessened. As the day wore on, I no longer felt debilitated, but instead rejuvenated and more invigorated. Now that I've found BodyFIX, I am even more driven to train for the next half marathon, Spartan Race, or whatever event I get myself signed up for. I am looking forward to bringing my twelve year old son here. It really is a game changer! I was really worried I had to take medical leave. I had a bad experience from a chiropractor which left me in pretty bad shape. I had to have two shots of lidocaine injected in me.
