We were given a comprehensive tour of the facility, which is equipped with cold scented face towels, makeup wipes, hair ties, and anything else you may need to freshen up before or after your session! It was also very clean! Each room has a booklet describing all of the light therapy options and a TV to watch Netflix on which was so nice! They also provide towels to cover up in. It got up to 145 degrees in the sauna -- we had such a good sweat! Can't wait to come back!

There are laminated signs everywhere with instructions & rules everywhere. Many of the jets in the pool were broken & the steam room was out of order. However, the facilities were very well kept, they were constantly cleaning. There's a wide selection of food & a ton of seating. I like that there's a movie theater room. And the price is $25 cheaper than Spa Castle. I still enjoyed myself. Two tips: 1) Save $8 by going to Super Komart just down the street & buying a pass for just $42 if you pay in cash. 2) Bring socks! The floors of several of the sauna rooms are very hot. Shoes are not allowed but socks are. You should also bring your own towel for the water park. The complimentary ones are hand towels.

FYI ramyun is the cheapest thing on the menu at the Korean place on the top floor & while it was good, it was clearly just instant ramyun that they charged $12 for. Next time I think I will just spring for something a little pricier. Couple of tips: It's both cheaper to go on weekdays & much less crowded. I would bring a change of clothes to wear under your robe. That way if you decide to go to the pool first, you can change out of your swimsuit to do saunas later. (Although plenty of folks just wear their swimsuit to the sauna!) Some folks say to bring a towel, but know they do provide full size towels & you can get fresh ones as needed in the locker room. If you plan to be there all day, I also recommend bringing a charger!

I realized I was being included in her recording and asked her to please stop because I did NOT consent to being filmed. Instead of simply respecting my request, she told me that I had an "attitude problem." She then went to the concierge and apparently received permission from a staff member to continue recording. She actually came BACK to where I was, started recording me again, told me, "I can keep recording," and called me "Karen." At that point, this no longer felt like someone casually taking a video at a spa. I felt deliberately targeted and humiliated. She also made a point of telling me that she gets "millions of views." I honestly don't care whether someone has 10 views or 10 million. Being popular on social media does not make another paying guest's discomfort irrelevant. What makes this experience especially disappointing is Spa Castle's response. I spoke with management and was told they could not make her delete the video. I understand that management may have limitations regarding someone's personal phone, but I cannot understand why a guest who had already been told directly that I did not want to be recorded was apparently allowed to return and continue filming and confronting me. I paid to come to a SPA--to relax and feel comfortable. Instead, I felt exposed, embarrassed, and completely unsupported. I was so overwhelmed by the entire interaction that I cried there, and then sat in my car afterward crying again. I can't remember the last time a business experience made me feel this humiliated. Spa Castle seriously needs a clear filming policy. There is a huge difference between taking a photo or video of yourself and deliberately continuing to record another guest after that person has specifically asked you to stop. People come to a spa expecting some level of comfort and relaxation. Nobody should have to wonder whether they're going to become unwilling content for somebody else's social media account. I'm incredibly disappointed with how this was handled.

He patiently answered all my questions about the available packages, ensuring I was well educated and was able to get a package that fit my needs being I live so far. I did the cryotherapy session on the highest level for 3-minutes and 30-second. While it was intense it's absolutely bearable, the feeling afterward was well worth it. After that I experienced the compression therapy, which I highly recommend for anyone with a desk job or who sits for extended periods it felt sooo good. The spa itself is immaculate and beautifully designed, it was clean which enhanced the overall experience. Given the quality of treatments and the professionalism of the staff, investing in a monthly package is a wise choice for those living nearby. Scheduling my appointment was easy and the employee told me what i needed to prep. The location is amazing! It's in the highly popular mockingbird station! It took me a minute to realize that there is a second floor, so i couldn't find it at first. Upon arrival we filled out a waiver and got a tour. The host was informative, nice, and inviting! She was great! I loved that they posted about their rigorous cleaning methods and that i actually saw it in person. We were the last ones for the day, so all of the cleaning supplies was out and they were cleaning everything! I love that so much! It made me feel comfortable that they keep up their cleaning standards! The sauna- we were given a cabin which is a room that you sit in for the experience. We were told we could listen to music as loud as we want since the cabins are soundproof. They had a TV for people to log into their nextflix to watch something while they sit. They provided us with towels, water bottles, and back rest. The host showed us the perks of the actual sauna- chromotherapy which allowed us to pick the color we wanted, the back lights just in case we wanted to read a book, and educated up on how to change the temperature. The experience-our sauna was set to 145 degrees, which was too high. Since I'm not used to it, i kept having to come out of the cabin to get into the cool air, when maybe i could have just lowered the temperature. It was a bit hard to sit through it, there was a point i was counting down the seconds for it to end. At the end of 45 minutes i was glowing, glistening, feeling refreshed. I did have a slight headache. They have a beauty bar in the back with cute goodies to use and to help get back to the real world . My overall experience was awesome! It gave me 45 minutes to just relax, meditate, not think about the million things i have to do in the day. It should help me with my skin. That may not know what they're doing. So I only maybe recommend it. The few positives include: You can probably find the equipment you're looking for. It's not overly crowded, unless there's a convention of annoying people in town like yesterday. They keep it clean. Generally, I feel it's overpriced for the value. But again, it's the only one on the side of town So get a tour and figure out if it's for you.

Like I said, from an equipment standpoint, there is everything you need, it is not the top of the line, but everything seems pretty well-maintained and in working order. Access to the hotel pools is also a plus. But it does not feel friendly at all, you are kind of left alone to figure things out. I came from very communal gym membership environments so it is quite a change.

However, when emailed to discuss the issue, Page Swanson became extremely unprofessional, hostile and made things very personal which was extremely triggering considering, again, she is a therapist. Page also discussed PIH with people outside the practice, and harassed me while refusing to refund me (claiming the clinic did not have the cash flow to reimburse me). All of these things occurred via email and her leaving me multiple voice messages so there was endless proof, otherwise, the gaslighting would have succeeded. There are tons of therapists in DFW. I highly recommend finding someone who is professional and client focused.
