Besides the incredible relaxation from being in the private pod with a cozy blanket, the treatment itself makes a true difference in pain level. I've also been using whole body cryotherapy to reduce inflammation and speed recovery from harder workouts. The lymphatic drainage massage is incredible. I've had only one session but I was offered a package to make returning for a series more affordable. In fact, most if not all services have packages or memberships which bring down the prices if you are planning repeat visits. The treatments are fantastic, and the staff is great. The place is always well staffed. I've never had a wait for anything unless I had an appointment and arrived early. My walk in visits are also quick. And the staff knew my name after only a couple visits. They are friendly and efficient. I've been to other cryo facilities in the area but this is now my self care home base. It's the best of the best.

She was warm, inviting, and offered for me to use the bathroom before getting started. She walked me through the whole floatation experience process and allowed for any questions. The room has a washcloth, two towels- a body and a hair towel, ear plugs, and ointment for any potential skin tears or cuts. The shower has instructions in there on a metal plate attached to wall, but Ava as well explained the pre-and post float shower expectations. Then she offered me a speaker that could connect to my phone via Bluetooth, which I really appreciated, and then she left me to get started. After inserting the earplugs, showering/exfoliating and shampooing my hair, I got into the tub. There is a neck-support float provided as well, which I decided to use, and as well there is a provided water bottle to spray in case salt gets in your eyes. There are "constellation lights" on the ceiling above the tub and also LED lights that are in the background. There are different buttons in the tub that you can press to adjust either/or and as well a button for controlling the room light. The water temperature was nice and the tub spacious. Then you float until being signaled that your time is up via flickering lights. I followed the post-float shower instructions and applied the "soothing lotion" before finishing up. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience! I recommend trying out At Peace By Defying Time spa if you're looking for a float tank experience.

Anyways I hate that it's so far away from me, I think location definitely effects their business and customer inflow. But the new owner is so sweet. She was very helpful when I arrived, and asked me if I had done this before, and explained to me how their tank sessions work. Overall the experience was good, but I'll be honest it wasn't as relaxing for me as the others I've been too, because the room is too bright for me. So they do have options for lighting, but it's either pitch dark or they have some colored lights and a starry night feeling but they're so bright I could still "see" them when closing my eyes. Additionally, they do have the option for music but you attach your own phone to play it. I personally didn't like all these features, others may.....in the past my float sessions the lights were dimmer and they played light music right in the pod with you and had ambient lights and they helped wake you from your session gradually. It all just felt more relaxing. That said, if you're looking to float this serves that purpose, but I personally like the closed in pods better I realize versus this which is more of a bathtub version. They also offer other services if floating isn't your thing or you want to add on.

My favorite massage therapist Deanna is one of the owners. I have been a client of Deanna's for the last five years and she has been an absolute godsend. My pain management has been excellent since I began seeing her for massage therapy. Deanna offers more than just your standard Swedish massage. She will incorporate techniques that she feels are the most beneficial for you as a client. The space itself is beautiful. When you walk in, you are immediately greeted by your therapist and also by the calming and relaxing atmosphere. I like to call it my happy place. There are two rooms for massage and there is no double booking or overlap. If your appointment is at 5, you will be seen at 5. For newbies, come 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork and have a consultation with your therapist. This spa is very tech savvy, which I love. You will be offered an opportunity to rebook before you leave and you even have the option of receiving email reminders of your appointment. Let me start off by saying, i called ahead to book a relaxing spa package for a full facial and semi massage. Over the phone everything was fine although i found it weird i had to zelle the full amount before arriving. I get facials constantly and have only ever been asked to give a deposit, but i paid the full amount. I get there the ladies were nice to offer me some cheese and champagne but i waited 20 minutes before being seen and there was literally no other clients there. I told Bebe i had some makeup that i need to remove and she made a huge stink about it. Why did i come with makeup? I said its easily removed i am getting a facial so cleansing is part of that.... Well according to her i should keep the makeup on because she would never have clients remove makeup. So weird!!!! I went to the bathroom anyways and removed it because im not about to have a mask and products placed over makeup! What was she trying to do, clog my pores?! Then she mentions it's a full massage and semi facial. When i said nooo i booked a semi massage and full facial, she made that a problem. Insisting her specialty is massaging and that's what the relaxation package is for. I gave in since clearly this lady is the persistent type and i was exhausted from traveling all day. She mentioned several times through the service how i need to feel Relaxed, this is going to be relaxing, jus relax but it's very difficult to relax when you keep mentioning it and talking. She made a lot of noise, either dropping things, forgetting things outside the room or mentioning what a big deal she is several times. So the last thing i felt was relaxed. The full service was about 90 min and about 45 min of that was me just laying there by myself with a bright light over my face. Not even goggles to protect my eyes. The music was abysmal. From nice spa music, to club music, to rap music at some point. It felt all over the place. I will say the massage was great. Her hands are a blessing but it was unfortunate that the ambience ruined the experience, the facial was basic and for a whopping $220 + $45 tip i was ripped off. I didn't complain or make a fuss i honestly jus wanted to get out of there actually relax in my hotel room. Luckily i will never have to come back.
