Like the reviews state, the staff keeps you talking so you don't feel much. Just remember to wear socks and gloves. I forgot to wear my gloves and couldn't feel my fingers for a couple hours. It wasn't that bad tho, as it was my fault and not anybody else's. The 3 minutes went by quickly, and before you know it I was getting dressed and on my way home. I went home and discovered my gold chain was missing, my cross was at the bottom of my purse the gold chain was pulled out. I thought since the manager and coworker were present, who are both minority Mexican women, I would never think they would steal my belongings. I called and sent a text the same day. I went up to the location on Monday, and Angelica dismissed me as if I was lying and misplaced my chain. My belongings were left alone with Suzanna and Angelica. I filed a police report, and I am waiting on the next step. Imagine paying $169 for a service, and your jewelry was stolen while the manager, Angelica Silva, was present. I also noticed this behavior during my first visit and decided to move forward in-spite of feeling rushed and hearing unprofessional remarks as I made my way to the consultation room. It appears that I'm not one of their preferred customers. These things should be considered when choosing someone to represent your establishment as the first point of contact. I have attempted to email Skin Laundry to cancel as there is no follow-up after entering (more like pressured) into a contract; I had a reaction which interfered with the timing of my next appointment and there were other circumstances beyond my control. Ultimately, it appears that customer service / resolution is nonexistent once they reel you in as no one has responded to my emails and the chat keeps ending with an error message. I will be filing a formal complaint.
