So for about over a year I was having this stabbing pain on the right side of my lower back. It comes and go. I got a CT scan and they couldn't figure out what it was. I decided to look for a chiropractor and see if a few adjustments would help, which eventually lead me here. Dr. Scott Knolling is super chilled and very easy to talk to. I later learned from Dr. Knolling that the office included licensed massage therapists. My light bulb came on. I decided to get deep tissue massages to accommodate the adjustments. I met Kristie the awesome massage therapist. She started working on my back and man initially I thought she was a bit rough, but that's just how bad my back muscles were. I was able to grind through it. After my first massage I hadn't noticed any stabbing pain that same night, so I immediately scheduled for another massage the next morning. I am starting to notice the more deep tissue massages I get, the less pain Back pain I was getting. It turned out my lower back had sooooo many knots that needed some ironing out. I have been seeing Heather Bickford for massage therapy for almost four years and I LOVE HER. She is amazing at what she does, plus warm and friendly on top of that. There have been so many times I've come in with an issue that completely disappears after a session with her. She's gotten me through two pregnancies with giant (9.5 and 11.5 pound) babies, which basically makes her a saint in my book. My only complaint is that she's ruined me for all other massage therapists; if it's not Heather I just end up disappointed. I use to have to get a neck and shoulder massage weekly to keep my stiff shoulders tolerable from having a desk job. I found this place searching online and figured I'd give it a shot, the pricing was affordable. A great choice, after my first visit I had no desire at all to get a neck and shoulder massage as the pain simply wasn't there. We have been using Irving Chiropractic and wellness for many (10? 12?) years. Following them as they move from one location to another. Dr. Kollings is a big man, but a gentle giant. So hen can get stuff aligned pretty quickly. There is a stable of massage therapists there too. All of them good. In fact, it was through Dan Puig that we found Dr. Kollings. My wife and I both visit ICW about every three weeks. We don't have many issues with our health, fortunately, but know it's because we are on a regular maintenance schedule with our chiropractor and massage therapist. We see Dr. Spencer Newton, but have also had Dr. Kolling work on us, and they are both great. They don't rush, but don't overly complicate the process either. We have also been treated by multiple therepists and always very pleased. Our regular therepast, Emily is great though. She does wonderful, deep tissue work. The staff is really great as well, we've never had any issues, billing or otherwise. Even when we are running a little behind, they are overly apologetic for any wait time, even when not caused by them. Most times, there have been no waiting between my appointment time and getting in...and I seriously mean, none. The only time I wait is when I'm there a little early. read more

So I hurt my right shoulder in the Gym trying a new work out. I though it would go away but after a month the pain just stayed with me so I tried this place. I was pretty skeptical because I have a lot of friends in the medical field who call Chiropractors Witch Doctors. I think my Chiropractors name is Newton and he did a good job. The session was like 30 or 40 min but i was surprised as soon as I got on my Harley I noticed my right shoulder already felt slightly better and gradually throughout the week my pain went from 9 to maybe 3 out of 10. I have had a few scheduling conflicts, but after I changed which chiropractor and massage therapist I am seeing, the scheduling conflicts have stopped. They have also not had another problem with their computer and scheduling me when the person is not there. I do look forward to the appointments. The update is only a 4 not a 5 because we still do not know what causes my back problem, and the spine doctor I was referred to said I have no structural reasons for the pain. I just need to find the right referral to figure out what would be good tests to run or things to scan or something. read more

First off... I made an appointment to come in to get adjusted. I've been having left pain on the side of my neck. It is very uncomfortable. I can not sleep at night. Coming to my appointment, the staff are friendly. We went through 3 exercises / machines. At the end I stated when do I get adjusted?!?! The staff stated that I would have to come back tomorrow for X-rays and adjustments. First off.. I do not need X-rays.. I came in for an adjustment and did I get one?! NO. I had to make an appointment to come back tomorrow for the adjustment.. Basically this DR likes to charge client twice by having the client to come back to get adjusted (per staff that is the protocol). I paid for my visit today and I have to come back and pay again. If I knew this I rather go to see another Dr who would adjust me at a one time visit. So basically I am still in pain. And have to come back to get adjusted. Will I ever come back after my adjustment?!?!!! I will F'en not.. I do not recommend coming here. Go to another place where they see you once and charge once only. I generally go there for massage session, their masseuse are very professional and trained. i have tried almost every masseuse in this clinic and no regrets. If you like specific masseuse then be ready to wait as they get booked quickly. Best part is they accept insurance so I don't have to break my bank and just worry about deductable. I hurt my back the other day being stupid at the gym so I decided to get a massage hoping it would help loosen those muscles. I called this morning to schedule an appointment, and thankfully they were able to get me in to see Dan at 11. Dan was great! Before starting, he asked which areas I wanted him to focus on and listened to what was bothering me. He was very knowledgable and accurately pin pointed out problem areas I didn't even realize I had. The facility is nice, clean, and quiet which made me feel comfortable from the beginning. I use to have a membership at massage envy but was looking for a place that wasn't cookie cutter or a chain. I really liked the fact that Dan acknowledged my problem areas and consistently asked me how the pressure was throughout the massage. It's more expensive than massage envy but I would rather pay a higher price for a higher quality any day. They do give you a discount on your first visit there so you can try it out to see if it's a place for you. I am definitely going back soon! read more

I've been going to Irving Chiro & Wellness since 2009 and I've never felt better. I see Dr. Scott Kolling who gives very effective adjustments. I've heard the same good feedback for Dr. Spencer Newton. The massage therapists are also phenomenal. There are several to choose from - Dan, Carrie, Kristie, Aimee, etc. - and I've never had a bad massage at ICW. Each therapist has their own style and technique. I've been able to reduce pain in my neck, shoulders, back, knees, and hips. I rarely ever get headaches any more, and when I do, they go away after an adjustment. I've been able to reduce the frequency of my visits due to overall improvement and am now just going for maintenance. Prior to finding Dr. Scott I visited various chiropractors in the DFW area (for five years) trying to find a good one. I have received chiro care most of my life but due to moving, and my last chiropractor moving his practice to AZ, I found myself without a chiropractor. A friend referred me to Dr. Scott and after the first adjustment - he was the chiropractor for me. The services are very competitively priced for cash patients and they accept several insurances, too. More perks - their office staff is very friendly, scheduling is easy, the office is conveniently located and very tastefully decorated. Most of the massage rooms feel more like a high-end spa than a chiro office. I've made several referrals over the years and wanted to write this review in the event anyone is looking for good care like I was for five years. read more
