Sadly Chiro appointments aren't covered for me right now, so I won't be enjoying the benefits of adjustments just yet, but in the meantime I have to review the incredible massage I received from Taylor (I hope I remembered his name correctly). I have the stiffest IT bands and my glutes have been constantly under fire ever since taking up so much cardio. He specifically focused on those areas and beyond just massaging them, he really stretched me out which I was very much in need of - I left feeling great. Of course I love massages, but for some reason I've never been a huge fan of professional ones - usually I just feel awkward having a stranger rub me, but mostly because I don't feel like they heal or soothe me (even when I request deep tissue). Being treated in her office I felt like I was just a number to her. The lack of professionalism at this clinic is a joke. She snaps at her staff. She answers her cell phone during adjustments. I discharged myself from her practice and my current provider has requested my records for about 2 weeks now. They've been told that they are understaffed but I know that's not true. They told my provider that I was only seen there once and that isn't true either. Someone called on the phone to request records and the person at the front desk placed them on hold to try to get help with the call. Dr. Auerbach snapped at her and told her that they're not going to just send records out immediately because someone asked for them. That it could take at least 3 weeks. I'm wondering, how can I continue in my current treatment with my new provider if they don't have access to my records? It's possible, but frustrating. Save yourself some time and energy. Choose a different doctor.

For 17 years, I've tried to hold the limb at bay just to cope. After just one session with Coleman, I felt something I hadn't in years: hope for real pain relief. Even though he hadn't treated CRPS before, he listened closely, adjusted for flares, and helped more than anyone else ever has, including spinal cord stimulator implant. The temperature in my painful leg, which often ran 10 degrees hotter than the other, began to normalize. After each visit, the pain area got smaller, and my average pain level dropped from a 6 or 7 to around a 5 or 6. I believe I'll keep improving as we continue treatments. What surprised me most was the emotional shift. That heavy, burning leg started to feel like part of me again, not just something I had to survive. Coleman is kind, skilled, and curious in all the right ways. His office is peaceful and insurance was handled smoothly. If you live with complex pain or a diagnosis most doctors don't understand, please don't give up. There really is hope and relief, even for something like CRPS.
