First visit today, most of the time spent on evaluation but I think I found a good place that's really going to help me.

If I could choose zero stars, I would have. I had a horrific experience at the Oak Lawn location with Eric Williams. I went to see Eric for one appointment and never went back - it was truly that bad. He wanted to test my range of motion which is typical for the 1st appointment. However, he did not listen to me at all and pushed my body far beyond what I was comfortable with. I was shaking head to toe and in incredible amounts of pain. He would stretch my arm (I had shoulder surgery) past my comfort zone and I begged him with every stretch to "stop, stop, stop" and he never did. This is not my first surgery so I've gone through the recovery process before but have never experienced such disregard for a patient's point of view. You know when you trust a professional to do their job and so you put yourself into their hands? I just kept thinking "push through" and "he knows what he is doing" but there came a point where I was in so much pain I couldn't stop crying. He made no effort to listen and the pain was so intense that I was sobbing throughout the entire appointment. He made no comment on my crying and at one point, handed me a tissue box as he continued to handle my arm. This was my 4th day post-op and I was eating completely normal foods. Following the PT appointment, I threw up multiple times that day which I had not thrown up at all after the surgery. My body was so wrecked that it took over a week before I felt comfortable eating normal foods again. I never went back to 3D PT and instead went to the PT Office at the Carrell Clinic. My new PT was shocked that that had happened to me. He actually apologized saying "no one should experience something like that when it comes to physical therapy. It should be the complete opposite of that." I highly do no recommend 3D PT. read more

Have worked with Collette and Marissa and they are great. Very knowledgeable and so nice to work with. Update: I just wanted to rave about the experiences I've had. Facility: Very well equipped. They have an anti-gravity treadmill which I love, and allows me to walk at less than 100% of my body weight. I've had leg injuries before and this is the only PT I've had with one. It's a great machine because walking is my hardest activity at the moment. Time and Scheduling: What I've noticed from my multiple doctors appointments for my injury is that they always run about 15 minutes late. 3DPT is always prompt with your appointments in both start time and end time. Also, I go to school from 9-5 but I can get my appointment at 7:30-8:30. Not many other medical facilities offer such flexible hours. I truly feel like my healing has been so much improved by going to this facility. read more

Went to 3D for a work related injury. I would not recommend 3D for physical therapy. The therapists do not listen to the patient needs and just go through the motions of being a physical therapist. I was recently referred to 3D Physical Therapy at Preston Center Dallas by my pain management physician, John Michels, M.D. Nickolas ("Nick") Pippert, DPT, was the therapist assigned to work with me. I had ten visits with Nick and two visits with Grady Callaway, DPT, therapist and owner of the practice. My initial impression of the clinic was that it was large enough for comfort and furnished with leading edge equipment. Obvious measures were being taken to protect against the Coronavirus (COVID-19). I especially appreciated the caring attention therapists were giving each of their patients and the supportive interaction between staff members. Early sessions focused on the treatment goals established in the assessment interview. There was no hesitation on the part of the therapists to adjust the treatment plan when necessary to gain the best possible outcome. A multidisciplinary approach was used to address the issues that were pertinent to my particular case. There was ongoing dialogue regarding pain management, sleep patterns, nutrition, medications, stress management, social needs, exercise, use of appropriate medical supplies and follow-up with other healthcare providers. I recognize that continuing with sound practices for healing will make the difference in my overall sense of well-being and quality of life. I feel a renewed dedication to working on all aspects of my wellness--mental and physical as well as emotional. There are a ton of factors that go into a evaluating a physical therapist. There were many positives here. The front office staff is super nice, organized, and made it really easy to get an appointment (you'd be surprised to discover some PT offices can't figure this out). The therapist and assistant I had are nice people. The space is a little packed, particularly when the PT is busy. The negatives were the exercises and the location. Their theory is that weakness in one group of muscles were responsible for the dysfunction that led to my surgery. That meant every hour was spent on one group of muscles. Boring. The weak muscles often didn't engage, and some techniques to get them engage worked and others didn't. Also, as physical therapy and the assigned at home exercises for one group of muscles is all I did for lower body exercise for 6 weeks, I lost a bit of lower body strength. The building's accessibility is poor, which is an issue for people with lower body mobility problems -- that's a common reason to go to PT, right? I didn't have a handicap tag but couldn't do stairs at first. I never found an easy solution to get from the parking garage into the building. Their answer was to make the stairs work. read more

I had been going to physical therapy here at 3DPT for 5 weeks or so, and just "graduated" yesterday. This entire team is awesome, and I can't recommend them enough! Everyone in reception/scheduling was super nice and accommodating, and my PT dyad was seriously the best. I was partnered up with Ned and McKenzie and working with them on my injury rehab twice a week over the last month gave me the confidence to finally be able to get back to running. They were both attentive, caring, and wholly invested in the outcome of my rehab. They listened to my concerns and often adjusted the treatment on the fly based on my feedback, something that I've felt lacking with other medical professionals that I've seen for sports-related injuries in the past. The clinic itself is clean, spacious, and has new equipment. If/when I'm injured again, I'll definitely be hunting them down for future PT needs. read more

3DPT is the absolute best! I went there for help with my arthritic knee, hoping to be able to avoid knee replacement surgery. Colette Wall, at the Douglas and Sherry Lane location, is incredible! Great spot. Very professional and personable. Went in for help with rehabilitation after knee surgery. It was a great environment with an awesome view of Uptown. I went here for about 20 visits I learned some exercises to improve my shoulder mobility but I had to change therapist 4 times so that impacted improvement. My accident lawyer reported to me that they were charging almost three times the normal rate. I would not recommend this place. read more

I landed here after I broke my ankle and stretched out my ligaments, tendons, and whatever else is in there. I don't recommend breaking yourself, but if you do, I HIGHLY recommend 3DPT. Allow me to explain: - Patient people: Let's just say I'm not the brightest when it comes to understanding insurance but Grady (owner) was so sweet to explain it multiple ways so patiently. I never felt bad for asking all my questions and I always got answers that made sense. - Awesome staff: I've probably talked to everyone there at some point. They're always friendly and encouraging - just all-around nice people. Nadia (coordinator) is super sweet, has all the answers, and makes scheduling easy. Marcos Lopez (PT, DPT, OCS) is as determined as I am to get me back on the soccer field. He's knowledgeable, always has a plan for my time which is usually 60-75 minutes, and always provides one-on-one time to everyone for extra pain (er, I mean healing). ;) He also puts up with my $h!t and sometimes I even get it back. Legit going to be sad to go because I feel like I'm losing friends! - Good range of equipment: In June, I limped in for my evaluation fresh out of a sexy medical boot with zero muscle from not using my foot and leg for months. It's now July and there may be some pieces of equipment that I don't love (ha), BUT I've gained plenty of muscle (and movement) back, and I'm already running again! On most of my weight at least.** **They have an Alter G (anti-gravity treadmill) - I don't know how many of those are out there, but it allows you to walk and run on a percentage of your weight so whatever your issue is (feet, ankles, knees, hips, etc.) you're not bearing the full load on impact. Neat right? Yes. - Always prompt: I've never waited past my appointment time to start. They'll even get you going early sometimes. WHAAAT? Yes - that's happened. - Long hours: Do you work a 9-5? No problem! They're open 7-7!! That's right, I get to rehab my ankle AND receive a paycheck to pay for said rehab. Double bonus. But seriously though - it's so great not to have to skip out on work for something you truly need to do. - Free, ample parking: Parking a big truck in Uptown can be a challenge, but not here. They've got a visitor's garage with plenty of parking. And sometimes the toweringly tall, sweetest security guard in the cowboy hat is out there. We're best friends now (according to me). Finally -- shout out to Dr. Bruce Markman and the staff at Alpha Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. If you or someone you love chooses to break themselves, start here! *ACL reconstruction surgery, Female, 25 I chose 3DPT from a list of a 100 different physical therapy places given to me after surgery because they told me they would spend 60-90mins. each visit. I called everywhere from most of the Baylor choices to several options in uptown and they all told me 25-40 min sessions. The website is great (helpful home exercises), the staff is very knowledgeable and the facility is well equipped with everything necessary for my ACL recovery. The Alter-G anti gravity is a perk because I was allowed to walk my first week at 50% of my total body weight. My PT was Patrick and I absolutely know he is the best at what he does. Even on his weekends when he is not working, he is taking more specialty courses to expand his knowledge because, like I mentioned, he wants to be (is) the best. I couldn't have asked for a better, more appropriate physical therapist. He is ALWAYS on time, has a great work ethic and plans very well. As for the rest of the staff and the owner, Grady, they are all so friendly, inviting and caring during each and every visit. read more

I've been a patient at 3DPT since August of 2012 and have been treated here for several injuries (a shoulder dislocation, lower back pain, hip pain and shoulder impingement). The clinic is well equipped, conveniently located and appointments ALWAYS start on time. My current PT, Patrick, is exceptional in his knowledge, creativity and commitment to helping patients. His approach is strongly rooted in current research findings and he employs that knowledge flexibly, which results in more individualized treatments and better patient outcomes. In addition to getting good results and pain relief, I left the clinic substantially more educated in the anatomy/biomechanics relevant to my injuries. Sessions are thorough and well balanced in terms of assessment, manual therapy, exercise and education (although he is particularly talented in manual therapy). All of the staff (especially Nadia and Brandon) and technicians (Lee & Tammy) I've interacted with are super-friendly and helpful. Grady (the proprietor) has clearly taken great care to build a practice that provides a supportive and caring environment in which patients can recover. Really, the fact that I know all of the staff by name should tell you a lot about the clinic and the personalized treatment they provide. I would not consider going anywhere else for my PT needs in Dallas. read more

My Graduation with Bailey recently was a great day for me. She is a licensed Therapist with techniques beyond my expectations. I came in with a new hip replacement, a rotator cup issue and more. With her help, I regained use of my leg in full, and her recommendation of dry needling with her PT made my shoulder pain 99% gone. I can't recommend them enough. They have 2 locations I was in. I'm very happy with my choice! Nadia at the front desk is always pleasant to talk with, and will find a few moments in her busy day to chat and say hello. My daughter had a PHENOMENAL experience working with Parmis at 3DPT. Parmis was thorough, caring and knowledgeable. She helped Rachel understand her injury, her limitations and the needed modifications, coached her through them and communicated effectively with everyone involved - patients, parents and coaches. Rachel's therapy with Parmis was extremely targeted and effective. Parmis' dance background was so helpful and I highly recommend her to any dancers needing physical therapy. To have a PT who understands all the anatomy and physiology, all the dance vocabulary and positions and is a skilled Pilates instructor was nothing short of a God send! There aren't enough superlatives to describe the quality and style of treatment at 3DPT. My daughter's treatment has been first class all the way from the first call with Emma, through months of PT, pre and post surgery with Parmis. To say we are pleased with the treatment, both encouraging AND tough love, isn't enough. We have been so happy with everything. The focus has always been on getting her back to full strength safely and that is what they've done. I had dual injuries that I was attending physical therapy for after an accident. This is absolutely the most educated, and most thorough PT clinic I have been to. I worked with Greydon and Patrick along the way who were absolutely amazing. I also had a friend that was working with Jessica who comes highly recommended as well. With his professional knowledge, he helped to improved my quality of life both physically and mentally - teaching me that I have more control over the pain in my life than I realize. Consider this, you may have the best surgeon and excellent clinical results, but to come back to level of fitness you desire you have to work with and equally as strong physical therapist. That is exactly what you get at 3DPT. Grady worked side by side with my surgeon to ensure I could run with my puppy and get back on the tennis court after knee surgery. I am not new to rehabilitation, but always rely on the professional support of a physical therapist to truly recover from surgery.
