**Absolutely amazing!**…read more Riley Reed, I just have to say thank you, thank you, thank you! The floors look absolutely amazing. The guys were so thorough and did such an incredible job. My husband even pointed out things they fixed that the other company definitely did not like tacking down boards that had been causing squeaking. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. After two years, being able to finally unpack and enjoy our space is going to be so wonderful, especially with the holidays right around the corner. We were so impressed with their work that we plan to hire the same company to continue the flooring through our living room and dining room. Thank you again for doing such a beautiful, thorough job. We truly appreciate it more than you know!

I've managed several renovations over the years, including projects remotely, and this has easily been one of the most disorganized and painful experiences I've dealt with. Our project has been ongoing since March, with seemingly endless delays and very little progress. I understand that insurance involvement can complicate timelines, and we've tried to be patient. However, we eventually signed paperwork agreeing to self-fund the project specifically to eliminate those obstacles and get the work completed. Despite that, the delays have continued. Communication and project management have been incredibly poor. The team has been consistently unresponsive, has confused our project with other jobs, and has repeatedly sent subcontractors to our home who either had no idea what they were supposed to be doing or arrived with a completely different understanding of the scope of work. Based on conversations with various people who have been in and out of our home, I've gotten the impression there may have been some internal management changes, which could explain the disconnect. Regardless of the reason, the lack of organization, communication, and accountability has been unacceptable. It genuinely feels like no one is overseeing the project, and we've been left to constantly follow up, clarify details, and coordinate work that should be managed by the company we're paying. Remediation is already a stressful process for homeowners, and the last thing anyone needs is a company that makes it significantly more difficult. After months of frustration, I cannot recommend this company and would strongly caution others against hiring them.

We are sharing our experience regarding emergency roof mitigation services performed on December…read more19. After discovering an active roof leak, we contacted ServePro after hours. We were clearly told the emergency mitigation service would cost $1,200, and we approved the work based on that representation. ServePro dispatched Legacy Construction & Restoration LLC as their subcontractor. Legacy's representative verbally confirmed multiple times (in person and over the phone) that the total cost would be $1,200 to install a tarp and stop the leak temporarily. However, we were later presented with an invoice of approximately $3,200, which was never authorized or disclosed to us. No revised estimate or change order was provided. This is purely unethical and unprofessional. Additionally, our HOA later informed us that the mitigation work allegedly caused additional roof damage (including cutting into roofing material and improper tarp installation), resulting in a $350 charge assessed to us as homeowners. Despite multiple attempts to contact Legacy directly to resolve this matter, we have not received a response. We are willing to resolve this fairly and have offered payment consistent with the originally agreed amount (minus the HOA charge caused by the mitigation damage). We believe in honoring agreed terms, but we also expect contractors to do the same. We are documenting this experience so other homeowners understand the importance of: * Getting written estimates before work begins * Confirming subcontractor responsibilities * Ensuring change orders are documented * Verifying scope and pricing in writing We remain open to resolving this matter amicably.

They cut the tops off underneath the waterline. Didn't remove any debris, just pushed some of it towards the shore. When I asked about completing the job, they said I "thought it looked good". The water was murky from movement, it wasn't until the next morning when it settled, that we knew the job wasn't complete. We communicated to them about the job, crickets. I wouldn't recommend this company or Darrin Douglas to scoop poop.
