Technician Harry was prepared and knew the scope of work and set to work. He did a good job. Challenges were scheduling the job. It was approved in February but not actually completed until September. Also color match in kitchen was not right, but I prior approved it so I'll have to own it. Maybe could have gotten a little more direction. Less a criticism, just things to be aware of when engaging a project.

I was considering replacing the tile in my small condo bathroom until I learned that there were…read morecompanies cleaning the tile and resealing it. I did an online search and The Grout Medic was one of the first companies that came up so I gave them a call and scheduled an appointment. My tile in the shower was an absolute mess. Dirty and dingy. By the time they were done, it was like a whole new shower. I couldn't believe how good it looked! Like brand new! The floor was also cleaned and one horrible stain was almost completely removed. The work lasted most of the day and the person they sent out cleaned up after themselves. I was very happy with the communication and the whole process. I plan on using them again to clean the tile in a couple of years.

I had to wait ten days, but it was worth it. (Left a request on Angi, and not one viable reply.) He replaced five large tiles that had detached and regrouted around them... saving me from having to re-do the entire bathroom floor. Matched perfectly... you can't tell the old work from the new. Arrived on time and worked quickly. I was worried about tile/grout dust, but there wasn't a spec in my condo after he left. Highly recommended!

I have marble floor tile in my kitchen and bathroom that I wanted cleaned with the grout restored…read more I called CSI after reading so many 5-star reviews. When the estimator came to check out the job, he was very friendly and professional. I asked if they could also clean the mold in the bath grout (glass tile); he said yes so I asked him to add this to the proposal. I discussed the proposal in detail over the phone and scheduled the job. The marble was cleaned and polished but some of the dirt in the cracks did not come off. My biggest disappointment, though, was that the mold in the grout between the bath shower tiles did not come off completely. When I asked why the black spots didn't come out, the reasoning that was given to me was that the mold is too deeply embedded in the grout. I asked whether the solution used contained bleach, and the answer was no, that bleach can cause damage to tiles, and the solution used (created by their own chemist) doesn't contain bleach for this reason. So I sprayed my own tile with bleach. The first picture shows before and after. On the left is the grout cleaned by CSI, and the picture on the right is 5 minutes after spraying with bleach. I expected the tile to look like the picture on the right when I asked CSI to include this in their quote (I paid $375 for this part of the work, when $5 bottle of bleach did the work). The second picture is the marble floors in the kitchen, finished product. Cleaned and polished, though still some dirt can be seen. Overall I liked the company and their customer service. I gave them feedback and they were receptive to improving their work.
