I wanted a flooring company to install Karndean Glue-down LVP in my kitchen so I got quotes from a couple different companies. I decided to go with Footprints Floors for three reasons: the quote was lower than the other company; they got great reviews online; and Kyle, the owner, seemed extremely knowledgeable and responsive whenever I had any questions. In the end, Kyle's team did an amazing job preparing and installing the plywood underlayment, filling in huge gaps in the subfloor, installing the LVP, and making the transition pieces. My expectations are pretty high when it comes to quality of work, and if anything didn't look right, I would have asked for it to be redone. The good news is that the installation was perfect! I plan to use them again for my basement floor (when the time comes). read more

The worst contractor I've worked with. Lying owner and unskilled worker. Price was significantly higher than the other quotes I've got, but I ended up going with them thinking expensive equates quality. Mistake. Projector was delayed because workers took a day and half off without letting me know in the first place. Owner tried to coverup the act with lies. During walk through there are huge gaps between floor and trims everywhere and I didn't even have time to check the stairs they finished. The stairs turns out to be like 120 grit sandpapers that have nails sticking out all over the place. Stains are over applied in almost every step that owner claimed they're just not dried. The third day I checked all the T-molding have already given up. They don't respect your house nor your time, go somewhere else. read more

Footprints was great to work with. I replaced carpet with hardwood in 2 bedrooms. Kyle was a very no pressure salesperson. He came, took measurements and had an estimate back to me within an hour or so. No "if you sign now.." stuff. His pricing was below the competition. I got 6 estimates. They had materials available and I was less than a week from estimate to completion for 2 rooms of hardwood. The men who did the work were efficient and polite. They did a great job and cleaned up well after. The transition from the existing to the new floors is nearly imperceptable. Would definitely use again and would highly recommend. read more

Kyle responded to our request for a quote immediately and when he visited, he also saved us a significant amount of money by pointing out that we had been over sold by our flooring dealer. When it came to installation, Kenni, who was our installer, provided excellent service. He was reliable and paid a lot of attention to detail. He also was careful in his use of materials so that in the end we had 3 boxes of flooring and extra sound barrier to return to the dealer for refund. As to price, Footprints is great value for money, the bid was reasonable and was exactly as promised. Footprints Floors was recommended on Angie's List and responded to my request for a quote. Kyle came out and recognized my needs for floor refinishing of an 80+ year old parquet (700 SF). Our floor had been unevenly worn throughout over its lifetime. During the site visit, Kyle recognized this and astutely recommended not sanding but only a skim and buff which is exactly what I assumed was needed, and is worth noting his competition quoted sanding and refinishing at three times the cost, not to mention the inevitable damage that would have incurred. When my husband and I bought our house, there were three layers of linoleum in our kitchen. We added a fourth layer hoping that would suffice for a while, but it just made it worse. After a bit of searching my husband found Footprints Floors and scheduled a consultation with Kyle. As you can see in the photo, our kitchen has 1950s tile that covers all of the walls and extends down to the floor. We were unsure about how to install baseboards with tile like that, but Kyle wasn't even phased! He said his team had done it before and it wouldn't be an issue. The job was estimated to be three days, but Raymundo was able to finish in two days and the quality is still outstanding. Our kitchen looks incredible! Footprints Floors was also able to match the stain in the kitchen to the color that already exists throughout the house, which hasn't been altered since the house was built in 1952. You can see a little bit of the dining room in the bottom right corner of the photo for comparison. We highly recommend Footprints Floors and will be reaching out to them when we're ready to refinish the rest of the floors in our house! read more
