This restaurant is a great place to go have breakfast, lunch, dinner, or drinks just in general. Good food great service and very clean. The employees are very nice and it is kid friendly with coin machines available for entertainment. You cannot go wrong with this food!

Restaurant y Taquería Cristina on Webb Chapel is a gem hidden away in the Webb Royal Shopping Center at Webb Chapel and Royal, that would probably be insanely successful if located on South Congress in Austin. What makes this taquería worth five stars? Taquería Cristina meets all the conditions of my so-called "Trinidad de la Taquería" 1) Amazing salsa that transcends description. Cristina (a middle-aged woman who owns and operates the place) serves up a steaming-hot bowl of smokey (punch-you-in-the-face-with-flavor-but-not-spicy-heat) salsa. This is simply the best salsa I have ever tasted in my life. I even got a huge 20 ounce to go container. I also like that the salsa is served at the table very hot. The salsa does not come alone, oh no. There is a bed fellow. You also get a free bowl of black bean dip with your chips as well. 2) The place is well-decorated and clean. Cristina runs a tight ship. You will sit in apparently decommissioned church pews and marvel at the wall decorations which are from Aguascalientes. For those Mexican food connoisseurs, the food is Aguascalientes-style and the Mariscos (seafood) are Tampico style. At nights there is a live band playing all of your childhood favorites, such as "La Mariposa del Taquería" or "Mi Corozón quiere Tacos" 3) The prices are cheap; which I guess is standard for Taquerías. Finally, I'd like to add that they have real Churros there. The real stuff. So stop running to Taco Hell and Baja Fake -- Come to Cristina's!

I've seen this place for the past few years and finally decided to stop by for some tacos. All I can say is that if your looking for some grade A, cheap Mexican tacos then this is the place. I normally prefer paisanos tacos but this place is closer and cheaper. The tacos are simple. I always go for the fajita kind. Just meat, cilantro, onions, and grilled onions and salsas on the side. For 99 cents a piece plus lunch specials and 12 tacos for 9.99, you really can't go wrong. The staff is very friendly as well as fluent in both English and Spanish.

Really good portions. Waitress was really friendly and food was good. They also have good Jaimaica drinks!

Even when we weren't sure about which appetizers we wanted she allowed us to split appetizers- a small portion where we got to try the apps. We tried the tenderloin crostini which was delicious. Along with coconut shrimp. The shrimp were ginormous. And the sauces were so good. Our fav was the mango marmalade. The best bread I have ever had in my life!!!! You know how sometimes they bring a roll to the table for the table to share? Not here boyeeeee Each person gets their own roll. I don't even know how to explain this heavenly bread. It truly is the best beard I have ever had before. I would come eat here again JUST FOR THE BREAD. The crab cake is out of this world. Huge jumbo clumps. Also comes with a variety of sauces. The wasabi one was our favorite. You must order the crab cake! My husband got the ribeye rare and said it was the best steak he has had, and he eats a ton of steak. I got their off menu item of carne asada tacos. The meat was sooooo tender. They don't use flank steak they use a tenderloin and it just melts. The mushrooms were Devine. Glad I ordered the carne asada. The adult Mac and cheese was good but just good. Brussels sprouts were good (not the best I have had) but I think I was also just so full by this point. The asparagus is huge!!! Oh the best finisher ever- the peanut butter pie!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!! I'm not even a dessert girl and I couldn't stop eating it. First time me and my husband were fighting over the last bite.

There was no wait for a seat at 5:30 pm but was still surprisingly busy for a Monday. By 6:30 there was a small like to be seated. Although delicious, My angels envy rye old fashioned cost $30!....had I known that, I would not have ordered it. I have been here many times and they never disappoint

For dinner we had the fried chicken, southern greens, and hop john rice. The chicken is one of the best. I can't think of one better. The Hop John rice paired well with the chicken. This place is special.

This place is truly something special, from the gracious hospitality to the incredible menu. The menu delivers elevated Southern comfort food that somehow manages to feel both nostalgic and fresh at the same time. I've worked my way through almost the entire menu over multiple visits, and I can honestly say that everything is incredible. Every time I take someone new there, I tell them that there hasn't been one dish that I've ever thought "meh" about. Every dish is so flavorful and outstanding. That said, I absolutely have my go-to order: the cornbread (a must), the southern greens, and the fried chicken. The cornbread is almost like a melt in your mouth dessert, that I happily start every visit with. The greens are packed with rich, savory flavor, and I'm not kidding when I say that every time I have them, I literally dream about them for weeks after. And the duck fat fried chicken? Crispy, juicy, and hands-down some of the best I've ever had. Beyond the food, the whole experience just feels thoughtful, from the quality of ingredients to the execution of every dish. You can tell there's real intention behind everything coming out of the kitchen. If you're anywhere near Farmers Branch, this spot is worth going out of your way for. And if it's your first visit--trust me, get the cornbread, southern greens, and fried chicken. You'll be dreaming about it later.

The consistency is incredible -- the food is always fresh, the lobster and chowder are outstanding, and the steaks are just as impressive. The quality has never slipped over the decades. What truly makes Lefty's special is the entire experience. The staff is welcoming and professional, and the clientele adds to the warm, classic atmosphere that keeps people coming back year after year. It's rare to find a place that maintains this level of excellence for so long. Lefty's is truly a Dallas institution and still the gold standard for great seafood and steaks. The first five of us ordered drinks while we waited, and the remaining couples joined shortly after and did the same. Our waiter was fantastic. He was witty with a dry, sarcastic sense of humor that fit our group perfectly. He made the evening feel relaxed and fun, and we genuinely appreciated his attentiveness throughout the meal. We started with two orders of the crab fingers, the Maryland crab cake, and calamari. The crab fingers were the clear standout appetizer, as it was a unique dish that everyone loved. The broth was so flavorful that several of us soaked it up with bread and couldn't get enough. The crab cake was just okay, slightly fishier than expected. For entrées, there were some real highlights. The halibut special and the sea bass special were both exceptional. The Lefty's pasta is enormous and packed with flavor, another favorite amongst us. The chicken parmesan was solid for those not in the mood for seafood, though I'll admit I expected a bit more boldness in the sauce and a little more sauce overall would have helped elevate the dish. We didn't take many photos because we were focused on enjoying the company and celebrating the occasion. Everything felt celebratory and enjoyable until the very end. After we had paid our checks, a few of us were finishing the last of our wine and drinks. Within moments of closing out, the owner approached our table and abruptly told us he had a party of ten waiting and that we needed to hurry up. Had he given us five more minutes, we would have naturally wrapped up and left on our own, completely happy with the experience. He could have approached us with kindness and this result would have been so different. Instead, that interaction left us feeling rushed and unwelcome. We spent a significant amount of money and were not lingering excessively, so it was disappointing to have the evening end that way. With a little more grace at the finish, this would have been a five-star evening.

Don't put vague descriptions in print if your staff can't break them down when the guest asks questions. On a side note, I know for a fact that this company requires all their managers to be clean shaven. Yet, I saw a cook/chef with a fairly thick, quasi-biker beard working the line in an open kitchen in clear view of guests. Kind of ironic. I'd rather the dude making my food be clean shaven for obvious reasons. Unlikely that I return.
