Great value and fresh food. Prices are fairly decent. Pretty interior with all kinds of special art to enjoy. People were deloading truckloads of fresh veggies and ingredients. I got the El Caballo which came with a little bit of everything from good grilled shrimp to dry pork/lechon, to the highly recommended pupusa the waitress told me its a signature. Its a ton of meat for $14. Salsa was not my profile. Service was very slow, especially since there was one front of the house. There was at most 3 other individuals eating on a random weekday and our food took over 25 minutes. First and last visit here! Ordered a fajita torta, which was all bread and lettuce, hardly any fajita meat to be found. I noticed a picture of a menu on yelp that had Mole, but unfortunately, the picture must've been outdated and they didn't have it. We also had some rice which was not properly cooked! read more

Omg ordered to go last week from here! The food was amazing, authentic El Salvadorian food!!! Best I've had so far! The salad that goes on top of the pupusas tasted just like it does in Honduras!! Yummie. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic food read more

A true diamond in the rough. Almost didn't stop because they didn't look very busy, walked in and they were half full at an off-peak time. Service was fast and friendly, place looks clean. First of all, REAL TORTILLAS!!! I got the Santa Rosa which is a flank steak, fried plantains, salad , and some Salvadorian mixture of rice and beans which is delicious. Really good beef fajitas. Fajitas de res. The meat was tender and flavorful. I grew up on beef and can tell from the first bite how fresh or cheap the cut is. I don't usually like beans, but their beans were outstanding. There is something secret in their seasoning because it is ridiculously delicious. Thank you guys for being open during the pandemic. This is the shop when you need a El Salvador jersey and some good pupusas. I've been coming here for some time and it has never disappointed me. I always leave satisfied with everything that I've ordered. I always order a few pupusas with some cold horchata. Its a combination that goes together for every Salvadorian that walk this world. They also have a variety of dishes that will satisfy any fat boy. I enjoy coming here with my dad to eat and watch soccer games that they play on the television. This place is terrific and AUTHENTIC Mexican and Salvadoran food. Nice market in the front with stuff from back home. Beans they serve with the chips are killer, I'd subsist on those alone. Was getting my tire fixed at discount tire, so I walked over here for lunch with a coworker looking for food. Little hole in the wall Salvadorian place next to random stores, also doubles as a little bakery. I got the Pupusa de chicharrón y queso x2 and a Pupusa de frijol y queso. A Pupusa is a small salvadorian item that's essentially a fried tortilla with stuff inside it. The one I got had pork (chicharron) and queso (cheese), while the other one had frijol (beans) and queso. They're $1.50 each! Way cheap, since they're not too big, so I got three, which was a good portion for lunch. They were really tasty, and crunchy, and cheesy. Definitely a very homely place, and they also have a decent bit of other dishes and aguas frescas like horchata and fresh juices. Cool little place. read more

La Marquesa is close to my house and I go often. It seems really authentic like you're having a meal in El Salvador. There's no diet soda and they ask if you want ice with your soda. I'm learning Spanish and they always have telenovela or soccer on and they help with my practice. This Pupuseria is not all that it took literally 45 minutes to get 9 pupusas. If your Salvadorian you would know this is unacceptable "Choyudas" to say the least slow as molasses Americans would say. Even if I had to wait I still was trying to give this place a benefit of the doubt you would say. So we patiently waited finally they arrived and mediocre is to say the least I could name 5 different places that have better pupusas then this place. The Tamarind water was stale if you can call it that it tasted old the Hibiscus water "Jamaica" not even fresh any true hispanic knows Jamaica is not hard to make especially fresh natural one and to be lied in our face well that was just unacceptable. My favorite restaurant! No one speaks English, but the menu is numbered and clear so that's not a huge issue. The food is really good too. The rice mix is my favorite and comes with just about everything. I never know what to expect when ordering, most of the time it's normal, but once i got a whole fish! lol It was tasty though! read more
