Service was kind of awkward bc I didn't know what to do, they thought I was delivery person and not a walk in customer. However, I've been to them at their old location this was my first visit at their new location. It's really nice and clean. The pupusas were ok I just ordered the cheese and beans. I had plenty leftover so maybe just order one or two max. I would come back again when I'm in the mood for pupusa only as I didn't see that they offered any other foods. It's a small business so I always love supporting small businesses! If you haven't been here give it a try.

We stopped for lunch, it wasn't busy or crowded, and there's plenty of seating. Our waiter let us know that on Fridays and Saturdays, they have a lively evening with a band if we were interested in that. He also mentioned the margaritas were good. Casa Vieja is a Colombian cuisine restaurant. I'm not too familiar with the dishes, so I opted for the mini Bandera Paisa, which is a traditional dish consisting of pork skin, sausage, sweet plantain, fried egg, thin steak, corn cake, red beans, white rice, and avocado. Not sure how this was the mini dish, but everything was so good. The food was well seasoned and not overly greasy or heavy. My request for spice was delivered with 2 salsas and grilled serranos. My beverage of choice was a mango juice, very refreshing, and the natural sweetness was complementary to my savory dish. I wish I had room for dessert, but this just gives me more of an incentive to return. Happy with the entire experience, if you haven't been, stop by!

I ordered from the lunch menu, the Carne Flameada, a specialty drink that I believe was a mocktail /refresher but I cannot remember the name! "Agua" was in the name and it had hibiscus and cucumber in it and for dessert the flan. Everything was delicious, savory and perfect temperature. William was my server and was great when it came to recommendations & overall service. He was very accommodating, checked on me regularly and even sang happy birthday when he brought out my flan. This location had been consistent with satisfactory service but today was really nice. Thank you.

We arrived before the lunch rush during the week and still had a 20 minute wait. I figured out it was probably due to a waitstaff shortage because there were plenty of tables available. I do love the decor of the restaurant and love the decorative glass on the ceiling. After our buzzer went off, we were shown to a table near the back. I noticed several really long tables filled with huge parties of business people. I ordered my usual entree - tamales and hubby ordered chicken enchiladas. I love snacking on the warm black bean dip and chips. I have to make myself stop eating them so I'll have room for my meal. I can only eat one tamale, do I took the remaining 2 home to enjoy later. I showed my server the email on my phone for a free flan. I'm not a real fan of flan so I asked if i could pay the difference between the cost of the flan and the churros, which I much preferred. He came back after checking with his manager and told me they couldn't do that. This was very disappointing to me. I was really looking forward to churros, not flan. I asked if I could take the flan home and it was packaged up. We enjoyed our leftover tamales and enchiladas. I really didn't care for the flan, so I doubt if I will go there again for the birthday freebie. I know I could have also ordered the churros and just paid for them, but it was only a flight difference in cost. I would have thought that if they truly cared about customer satisfaction, especially for a special event like a birthday that they might have made the requested accommodation.

She said it's because they have live music and alcohol, but personally I've never been to a single restaurant that forces you to be patted down to enter . And when I was visibly surprised, she said "you can go home". If it wasn't for the family begging to go in, I would've just taken her advice. So come for the food and music, but if rude guards aren't your thing I'd recommend anywhere else

Theres a veriety of food items to choose on the menu but I chose what I was recommended, the super pupusa. Its about the size of a full plate and it is mixed with several ingredients that give it a unique but great taste. Unfortunately my pupusa's dough was raw in the center and not cooked well. I ate part of the pupusa that was cooked just to try it and took the rest home to later in the day finish cooking it in a pan. The service was ok at best. She came once to our table and that was when she served me my plate but she never came back again. Would I go back? Maybe. But i would def make sure to tell them to make sure the pupusa is throughly cooked.
