I asked for carne asada tacos but idk if this is how it comes. Jalapeño was 1 dollar extra.
Mercedes M.

They charge 1$ for one grilled jalapeño. Service is nice but restrooms are not clean. The sauce stand when I went was not refilled. I just think if they want to charge additional for using a card and then one jalapeño for 1$ at least have a good sauce stand and clean restrooms. Total cost for my food was 17 bucks and I think it was because of the jalapeño and card fee. Also for Mexican food Spanish rice would be nice instead of white rice.

The food was made fresh and hot. Very tasty and service was good. The salsa bar was not that great very scarce item selection. Very good option in the OC area.

Very delicious and family owned. All the food is super flavorful and fresh. Very friendly owners. Their restaurant is also very clean!

Even the rice and beans are really good, which says a lot because those sides can make or break a Mexican spot. The people here are always nice and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. This place always seems busy, which is usually a good sign, but they have plenty of tables so it never feels cramped. The ambiance is great with a good atmosphere and enough space whether you're coming with family, friends, or a bigger group. Good food, good people, and a great vibe. Now when I go, the taco is more tortilla than it is protein. There's barely any meet in the actual taco. It's kind of disappointing. They also sell most things à la cart. So for example, you can get guacamole but chips are extra. I get if you're getting a small 2 ounce thing, you might want that for your taco so you don't necessarily need chips. But if ordering the larger 8 ounce option, it seems wild that by itself without chips that would be closer to $8. Usually when I go in, they keep the receipt because they don't require signature. But today the girl at the register tried to force me into an awkward tip. I read the receipt, "No signature required" and she bashfully took it back. It was mad awkward. Idk I think today was my last visit. Used to feel like a gem, now I leave hungry. :(

While the costs get higher, the convenience gets lower. You cannot make any special requests or notes when ordering from any online platform...... They fail to ever provide enough sauce, even when you buy it, they forget to put it in. The plates used to get more for the value, now its becoming not worth it. Today I ordered the Wasabi Salmon Bowl.......this should be name changed to Rice with slightly salmon bowl with a hint of Wasabi. There is way too much rice in this bowl. Like 2.5-3 cups it seemed like. All the other mentioned ingredients ,including any sauces are non existent. Salmon???? Where? They dont put two filets or even on filet and let you shred with your fork. Nope. You have to go hunt for salmon bits in this bowl. As for Wasabi, maybe a slight hint but since the Wasabi peas were almost non existent, as were the sauces, you can hardly taste it. This was a real expensive disappointment for what I got. I paid $30 for a bowl of rice when all was said ans done. Never again! Stay away from their new bowls. Most reviews ive read say the same thing about portion size and value or quality! California fish grill....customer experience is everything. Think of yourself as the customer. We don't want to complain or go back or figure out how to add notes to get the order the way we like it. You are a profitable company, no need to keep skimping while increasing the cost. I really want for my experiences to get better here, hut the last 3x here whether in person or via a delivery platform is just a complete miss! Provide utensils, provide the sauce choices people choose and dont undercut your customers! As for employees attitude or behavior, ive NEVER had a bad customer service or employee experience here! They have always been very nice to me.

It's my go to seafood restaurant in Gardena, I'm glad I found this location in cypress. Everything was soo delicious and worth the price! The ambiance is casual and plenty of seatings! This location is huge! They have cute beach vibes inside! Good for any type of parties or celebrations. Service is amazing! Everyone was friendly. The server Sheena was very nice, helpful and recommended us the best deals! We came in an hour before they close and really appreciate her taking care of us! Crab shack is my favorite place and my go to if I'm craving seafood boil! Their crab shack style sauce is super delicious! I got mild because it can get really spicy. The flavors are definitely hitting! The portion is definitely good for sharing! I love the appetizer and other main dishes. Soo many options to choose from you definitely won't get bored! The clam chowder , fried oysters with fries and garlic noodles definitely complimented well with the 3lbs shrimp we got! I also got pina colada to balance the taste and it's very refreshing! We definitely left feeling full, satisfied and happy! I will definitely comeback to this place and recommend this to my friends and family!

We got the combo #2 which came with your choice of head on shrimp, clams and crab (snow crab). We got the crab shack house sauce with medium spicy. All this seafood is steamed in a bag, comes with corn, potatoes and sausage pieces. Everything was quite tasty. The fries are crispy and had a generous cheese sprinkle of Parmesan. Sweet potato fries also taste great. Be prepared to dig in with bare hands - they do provide thin gloves and disposable bibs. I got steamed rice but maybe didn't need it. The one pound peeled shrimp in garlic butter no spice was quite tasty. The three servers were completely slammed. But they did keep things running well- between taking orders to each table, & serving refills , bussing tables and closing out bills. Communal sink for washing. I think part of etiquette is to NOT rinse out your mouth here. It's used by everyone after all. I do wish the floor was was in better condition - it's a bit rough uneven and slippery.

Very good very rich, we should've opted for slaw on the side, but the fries were delicious. I had the grilled cheese and homemade tomato basil bisque soup. That was so darn delicious! They had some sports games playing on the TVs at the bar and there was an ice cream bar at the front. The service was great. Everyone was quick and attentive and really nice. Since we made it for happy hour we were able to get some zucchini sticks for $5. They were crispy and delicious. Really flavorful and soft on the inside. I got the meatloaf Sam- which which was HUGE. My husband got the Tuesday special which was a smash burger with fries and a drink for $15.99. He got a margarita as his drink so he got a great deal. The burger was a little small but he ate the other half of my giant sandwich so it worked out. The meatloaf sandwich had a delicious crispy sourdough bread with a lot of melted cheese. I added some ranch as I thought it was a bit dry but overall it was good. It came with a big helping of fries as well and I got the garlic fries. They were very garlicky but so good with the ranch. My parents got the Cobb salad and the turkey pop pie. My mom didn't love the pop pie, I think because it wasn't really a pie- just a dish with biscuits on top but the Cobb salad was really hearty with a lot of toppings and it filled them up plenty. They ended up taking most of the pop pie to go. This place has a lot of great deals so make sure you check them out. I think Thursday's kids eat free so it can get a little crazy then but the menu is great as there is so much to choose from so everyone can get what they want!

On my way to my hotel, looking for a dinner spot, the name caught my eye. I decided to double back and was the best decision I had made all day. Single dining room restaurant with friendly polite young staff. One double-sided menu makes it easy for ordering. This evening, I ordered Thai Iced Tea, Massaman short rib curry, and the coconut rabbit dumplings. The coconut rabbit dumplings were over the top good! Uniquely prepared fried dumplings filled with ground seasoned meat and skewered on a tiny wooden pick with cucumber, papaya or mango, pepper relish was amazing. This is reason enough to dine here! The Thai iced tea was perfect. The Massaman curry was done right and with short rib meat was absolutely delicious. I think I would try it with pork next time. But if there is a next time, I probably would try their green curry. It was a tough choice. But I didn't regret my decision. This was my first visit, but not my last.

There are certain dishes we get every single time because they're just that good. The spicy garlic edamame is always a must. We also enjoy the shrimp fried rice, but we usually end up ordering the blue crab fried rice because it's so good. The beef pad see ewe is another dish we come back to again and again. And of course we always order the Thai iced tea, which is absolutely delicious and the perfect pairing with the meal. Before they expanded their sit-down restaurant, we ordered delivery from them all the time, and what really stood out was that their own team delivers the food. It's not a third-party service. They are always so kind, make sure you have everything you need, and the food is always packaged carefully and arrives in great condition. Now that they've expanded and have their sit-down restaurant, we actually drive from North Orange County just to come eat here, which says a lot about how much we love this place. You can truly feel the care and love that goes into the food, and you can taste it too. The service is always warm and welcoming, and it's easy to see why they've become such a local favorite. This place is absolutely all-star and we'll continue coming back again and again

They should put a disclaimer that you may only get 2 pieces instead of 3 as listed on the menu. When I asked the staff about it, the chef said it's because the pieces given are the same as 3 which was a bit weird since the pieces didn't look that big compared to the photos on Yelp. This dish also comes with a salad. Chicken katsu curry- I ordered it medium, but honestly the curry is on the sweeter side with no heat at all. You also get raisins which makes the curry even sweeter. For $26, it's not a good price point for this type of dish. You can get this dish for much cheaper at other establishments. I would pass on this dish. Staff was nice and interior is clean and a bit cramped. My meal was over $100 for the 3 items which I normally wouldn't mind if the quality offsets portions given. Be prepared to spend lots if you want to get full! Also, keep in mind they charge an NCA fee if you don't pay cash. This place is a solid 3.5 for me.
