Came here for a work lunch this week and had a good enough experience. Let me preface though by saying it is not cheap, by any means. Then again if you walked into the PEC thinking you'd grab a quick bite you're probably off your rocker anyway. Nice spot on the 2nd level with window seats overlooking the track. Menu is pretty varied with a decent selection of apps to mains and sides. Entrees start at 30 and go up from there. Got the $32 burger and tbh, probably only worth $20 on a real good day. Tasty, just advising that from a value standpoint it's not there. Service was pretty good, our guy had a handful of tables and was busy enough I had to ask twice for mustard. Would I come back? Such an incredible experience first time going to Restaurant 356 and it will not be in my last ! from the beautiful surrounding seeing the gorgeous cars and the lovely restaurant right over the track. We were able to watch all the cars go by. It's a great experience even if you're not on the track just to watch it now the food OMG we had the cheeseburger so delicious so juicy and the fries were perfection. The butter was so soft and the butter was modeled into these cute little Porsche car-molds and the pretzel bun was so delicious And the drinks oh my Prosecco was so good as well with the espresso martini and they put the Porsche logo!! what a great experience highly recommend and I walked the museum as well. Attended a Porsche Private Dinner Series event and indulged in a drive track experience with a driver that was OUT OF THIS WORLD amazing. Learning about the history of the Porsche brand, their efforts to keep legacy Porsche cars on the road through their restoration initiatives all while keeping current with innovation with the current EV Taycan Porsche and the NEW EV Macan Porsche. There is of course a Porsche dealership next door for anyone that would like to take a look at the actual cars for sale and place an order. The dinner over all was tasty, unfortunately the steak was over cooked as the tomahawk was well done. I prefer my steak medium well. The salad was a bit tart for my taste as well. Restaurant 356 has been on our Atlanta bucket list for a while, so since my husband and I were visiting over Valentine's weekend, we decided to treat ourselves to a lunch here. We really enjoyed the views of the track during our meal. Our server was super welcoming and helpful! The tables overlooking the track of the experience center make the dining so much more special for anyone who appreciates the brand. My son and I dined here while on a road trip from California, was able to use the high-speed chargers while dining and moved over to the slower chargers to top off before moving on. Prior to the Porsche experience, I had made a reservation for lunch. I had asked for a table by the windows so I can see the cars at the track which was a view you can never get tired of. I ordered the homemade pappardelle, soup of the day which was baked potato soup, and 356 burger with fries. When the food is so good you start to look up the Chef because you have to know who is responsible for this mass act of perfection! Reservation made through Open Table via the restaurant's website. Easy! I did not realize until the day that I visited that the restaurant closed at 2:30pm, my reservation was at 2:00pm and as soon as I arrived the hostess confirmed my reservation and I was seated. It seemed to be no sweat that my reservation was so close to closing and because I went during the week (Tuesday before Mother's Day) there was not a crowd or a rush to make selections or be served. Ambiance is semi-formal, it's nice enough to dress up, but it's no big deal if you show up in jeans and a tee. Nearly every seat is a good one for views of the track and airplane arrivals. The aroma of the salmon is undeniable as you hit the top stair of the floor of the restaurant. The salmon itself did not disappoint. Flavor packed and crisp. I opted to leave the almonds off as I have a nut allergy, but the rice, spinach, salmon and sauce all play so well together on the plate and create a delicious bite after bite after bite. Red Line margarita was satisfying. The liquor was smooth and almost undetectable. My next visit I will likely forgo the complimentary bread and butter. It was not worth the calories in my opinion. It was on the tough side as it's almost a pretzel bun texture and no amount of butter and salt could take my mind off the tussle it required to eat. Great experience overall! Everyone was so accommodating from the attendant at the gate at the front entrance to the employees passing through the halls of the building on the way to their next task. read more

I know they say what you pay for but.... Getting to the restaurant was simple initially due to the gentleman at the gate that told us where to park & where to go up to get to the restaurant. Upon parking & getting inside, the area looks immaculate. Porsche paraphernalia throughout the facility. Plenty of photo op areas. This day it appeared there was some type of event so we were not able to follow the directions up the restaurant (which is located on the 2nd floor once you enter the building). We were lead around the back of the desk & up an elevator so we were not walking through, that I could appreciate. We found the restaurant & our large party for our Saturday 7:30pm reservation. While greeting the others we were informed by our party that we needed to hurry up & make food choices as the kitchen was about to close. This left most of the party confused because they accepted a reservation for a large party at 7:30 knowing they closed at 8. We quickly picked items from the menu so they could close down after us. The pretzel bread was a big hit! The table asked for seconds & said just to bring us what they had left but they ran out :(. In my review I got a pic of the charcuterie board & it was not what we expected. There was no cheese & would any charcuterie connoisseurs consider this one? I doubt it. We had reservations but didn't realize that you had to go through security to park and get to the restaurant. The experience portion of the building was closed so it was empty when we walked in. There were some other patrons wondering around looking for the restaurant The restaurant is actually tucked away upstairs in the back and had an ambiance of its own. There were people dining for what looked like date night, friends celebrating a birthday, and work a meeting. I met a friend for a casual dinner but can easily see how dressing up would be appropriate. The view seems to face the track but there was no action going on this evening. The food was definitely made to order and we even had to wait for bread to be baked before it was brought to our table. I was surprised by the size of the salad as it was a nice portion and all the tomatoes and avocado were ripe and delicious. The scallops and purée was cooked nicely with good flavor. I opted for the ravioli as the waiter said the pasta was made there fresh-daily. It was a great choice and I definitely recommend it. So after driving around no better place to re-fuel than here! It's always great to get free bread with your meal... it's alway "butter" when the spread is shaped like a classic Porsche! I ordered their 356 burger which had 10 ounces of beefy goodness, pork belly, caramelized onion and cheddar. It was tasty albeit the beef was a tiny bit dry. Did a 3 course prix fixe for my father's 60th - got off to a rough start when the server said we had to go to the bar to order alcohol. The GM Oscar corrected the situation and he really is the only reason I'm giving it four stars. He was very contrite about the mix up and checked with me privately to ensure everything was to my liking. That said, I found the timing between courses to be too slow and this was also evident by the tipid temperature of the main courses. I'm not sure they actually cook any of the food there as I heard the first server mention something akin to this and the dessert had Alon's bakery logos on it? Which would explain the lukewarm entrees. Nevertheless, I did enjoy the proper place settings and service. Presentation was lovely. And I found the pricing to be surprisingly affordable for a prix fixe menu. John the catering director was a good communicator and made the process painless. However, aside from the cavatappi with portabella mushrooms - I found the main course, both salmon and steak to be rather banal. All in all though, there are worst places to commemorate a special occasion, especially if you pair it with a driving experience (be warned though, you'll need to coordinate them yourself). read more

Dining at Restaurant 356 at the Porsche Experience is an exhilarating experience itself! Unique views, delicious, fresh seasonal fare, and top-notch service. I've been to the restaurant twice and although the menu is small, even vegetarians have delicious options. Further, the staff are willing to make adjustments to suit dietary needs. I visited twice for lunch and enjoyed both immensely. The first time I dined here, I took a newborn. I ordered the gazpacho and a salad. Service was excellent, and the ambiance and views itself make it feel like an exclusive experience. The car-shaped butter that came with the rolls were also a nice touch :-) We could see drivers take the cars around the test track while planes kept descending onto the runway of Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport. The view of both the Porsche track and the air traffic control tower make this pretty unique. The second time I visited, I brought my parents, as my dad is a car and commercial airlines enthusiast. He also loves unique upscale dining experiences. We ordered the winter harvest salad, the beet salad, the black rice risotto (without pork belly) and the stuffed caramelle pasta in brown butter sauce. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavorful caramelle pasta, which was not too sweet as I would have imagined. I also found the beet salad to be a refreshing, light starter. Both times, I have still felt a little but hungry even after my meal. And this time especially I felt the portions were a bit small, and that my beet salad could have used more flavor, as I was expecting the Roquefort espuma to provide a more robust flavor. However the harvest salad was superb! Crisp, with the addition of apples, slightly tangy, but not too sweet either. This second time around I brought by now-toddler, and despite her being loud in the restaurant and spilling bread crumbs on the ground, the waiters were polite and didn't even blink an eyelash. They even offered to bring her a grilled cheese, which I was not expecting from this type of restaurant. After your meal, you can walk around the Porsche museum. If you're looking for a heavy/filling meal or lots of options on the menu, this is not the place for you. However, if you like to try some new, interesting flavor combinations, and also don't like to be overwhelmed by too many choices, then this IS the place for you. I totally recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a novel, elevated experience in Atlanta that offers more than mere dining. read more

Randy was AMAZING. We were trying to fit this in on our road trip, between a meeting I had. He went above and beyond not only for our son (turning seven in two months) but for me as well with my meeting. I was also SO INCREDIBLY GRATEFUL to the gentleman who sat us. Full bodied, oaky and just Right! But ultimately settled on the house cocktail. It was so good. If you like Mojitos and Mai Tais. You will LOVE THiS! We ordered bread service (the waiter said since it came out late, it would be on the house) so I assume they charge extra for the bread service. Surprising. But worth it.
