There was a young girl's softball team with fast pitch machine; a mixed co-ed group and an elderly gentleman group all practicing batting consistency. It is fantastic for the community to offer an outlet for all age groups to practice softball and be part of a team. It was very nice to be able to watch the players while just exploring the area. But mostly, I love the military veteran's memorial. What a tremendous tribute to service members and capture of Commander in Chief quotes throughout the various military conflicts in this nation's history. Spectacular memorial found in McDonough, Georgia. It is a must visit if on the area.

No street parking at all It used to be called Stockbridge Amphitheater just in case you hear ppl still referring to it by that name. This is a really nice medium sized venue. They do offer various types of seating reserved General Admission, Hightop tables, Box sections, VIP Seating which is the closest to the stage with tables. The venue does a security search through metal detectors, be mindful of policy on bag sizes, cooler sizes & allowed vs unallowed items. Dont be the person to have throw something out or walk back to your car. This is a heads up. The venue also allow you to bring coolers with food & drinks. They do have vendors who will be selling food, sometimes they have food trucks as well. In addition they have bar that serves alcoholic beverages. Overall, its a nice venue, with a nice set up, the staff are friendly, if you are able go to the box office on certain days to purchase tix, it will save you on those high Ticketmaster fees as they do charge a very smaller fee. Be prepared for a small walk if you dont park in the limited free parking or pay the fee to park at the venue. Also, some business also offer fee parking in the area and that also is a walk. The sound system is good. I have seen several artist who come & walk through the audience as they perform. It is a rain or shine venue, however, if its thunderstorms or lightning they will stop the performances & see how to proceed. If they have to reschedule you will be able to use the same tix for the rescheduled date. I will keep going back to Stockbridge Amphitheater as it is well worth the price of tix, the distance which is 30-45 min from College Park Area which is next to the airport (just to give you an idea). And you can bring your own food, small cooler & drinks. I rate them 5

We went to Vystar Amphitheater in Stockbridge to see Trey Songz, and this was actually my first…read moreoutdoor concert, so I was excited for the whole experience. It was HOT, but I was there with my girls, the energy was good, and once the concert really got going we had a great time. The biggest downside was the rain situation. At one point we found some empty covered seats because it was raining and nobody was sitting there, so we stayed there for a while instead of getting soaked. Toward the end of the concert, a security guard singled us out and called police over to make us go back to our original seats in the rain. What made it frustrating was that the covered seats were completely empty, and even the officer seemed confused about why it was being made into such a big issue. That definitely put a weird little cloud over the night. Trey Songz also came out later than expected, which was a little annoying, especially after sitting outside in the heat waiting. But despite all of that, we still had FUN. The music, being outside under the night sky, and just having a girls' night made it worth it. I'd definitely come back for another concert, but I'd probably be a lot more prepared for the weather next time. Overall, fun venue and a really good night, but the security experience could've been handled way better.

I had a blast here…read more Parking is free but it fills up quickly. You have have to park next door but it is just a small walk. The is an outside venue with a gigantic dome above the seats. It was sprinkling when I arrived but the dome kept us dry. This venue also allows you to bring in you own food and drinks. People brought lawn chairs, tables, coolers, and platters of food. This was my first event so I only brought a drink and some chocolate. The comedians were great. I got to see 5 comedians over 2 hours and 15 minutes. Bathrooms are clean as well. They sell food and drinks here as well.

(Ticketmaster & fees) We went to see Musiqsoulchild & Anthony Hamilton. Maybe these arent the type of artist you should see in an outdoor venue. There was no parking at the arena but as I was driving down the road, I saw people parking at the post office across the street. I pulled up on the grass and hopped out my car as others were doing and started walking towards the venue. It was about a five minute walk. Entrance was quick and although there was security on the scene no one checked my bag. There was a vendor that was renting portable fans. Thats a great idea. It was easily 90° and people were lined up to rent a fan. $35 they are rechargeable and I believe I heard one of the vendors say it "should" last the entire concert. There was also someone selling sweer potato pies. I personally cant eat fall/winter foods in the summer but the booth also had a line. There is a set of stairs leading to the lawn. If you want a good view and plan to bring your own chair get there early because the lawn area sits on a slope and by the time I arrived I was behind several rows of people with chairs and sitting on the slope, I had to stop myself and my belongings from sliding down the slope. I brought a blanket and sorta had to squeeze in between all the people in chairs. Ultimately I moved up higher on the slope and it wasn't any better because there were still people in chairs and you couldn't see the stage or jumbotrons if you are sitting on the ground that far back. The audio was HORRIBLE. It wasnt just me, I heard several people in the area I was sitting comment that they couldn't hear the preformers. Thankfully I knew the music so I just rocked to the beat and tried to enjoy myself. They allow you to bring in chairs, food and personal coolers. I also saw some people with wagons but wasn't able to figure out how they got them up the stairs leading to the lawn area. People had portable hookahs and vape pens so it was smokey that far back. I also saw people with fans a little larger than what was being rented. In this regard, you can really make yourself comfortable if you bring everything with you. I left expressing to the group I was with that Im done attending concerts at outdoor venues. This was not a $100 summer concert experience.

The parking is ample (and paid) and has space for horse trailer parking as well. As I arrived at the main area I took a moment to review the board. The board educated me that there were multiple trail options. Also, the routes vary by skill level and miles. I was so excited. As today was my non-gym day I decided to go for the Yellow Trail as it is Moderate in effort and is 3-4 miles. I was slightly confused at first, however, there was an entry to the trail towards the back of the parking area. Once I found it, it was all go from there. LoL! The trail was easy to follow as the path is easily identifiable. The woods are quiet and personal. There was a sense of peace as I was walking through the woods. The different levels of elevation provide for an enhanced view of the general area. I'm talking absolutely gorgeous. The spots of water provide a moment of serenity as you get lost in the sounds of water going down the stream. The path was fun as it was up, down, and all around. I had a blast. Truly, a blast. As I was getting to the end I got lost. lol. Thanks to All Trails for tracing my route as I was able to retrace my steps. Next time I'll pay better attention to where I parked so I can know where to go back to. Ha!! Today was amazing. Great air. Great trail. Great time.

The "beach" is no longer at the Clayton County International Park. Clayton County did a…read moremultimillion dollar renovation to the area. It is now a water park called Spivey Splash. The water park consist of splash pad, lazy River, water slides, wave pool, and much more. The water park is absolutely beautiful and affordable family fun.
