There were a couple of families with little people enjoying the play area. The tennis courts and the baseball diamonds were completely empty. Not sure if this usual or not. I could see another playground off in the distance behind the baseball area, but didn't get a chance to get over there to get a closer look. In general, it was really calm. Even with little people around. They seem to have been enjoying their time very much, and the parents either sat quietly nearby or helped them onto the playground equipment. There is plenty of walking space, and also places to come and enjoy a late breakfast or lunch. The wide-open spaces are large enough to accommodate sizable parties for those who are looking for a location to host a get together in a public space. And there are a couple of pavilions. I did notice that there were several electrical outlets available. In all, a very nice, well-kept community park.

If, though, your dog takes off and wont come back you wont want to do that here because it is not fenced in. It has a nice little creek that my dog likes to play in and get wet. This is the only park i've seen that has a creek. It also has a cute little bridge that he likes to walk across. There are brand new tennis courts (will be using these soon) and a new basketball court. It is pretty spacious so my dog can have a good run and get his exercise. There are no watering stations for dogs but that is a non issue since there is a creek and your dog can drink from it. But if you're the type of dog owner that i've seen since i've been in ATL that only gives his dog Evian or water that has been filtered through a 100 point filtration system then you probably wont want to do that. But i'm sure it's alright. They also have nice playground equipment for the kids, a covered picnic area (but no picnic tables......are you kidding me), and a bathroom.

If you're expecting a luxury play place, this isn't that--but it's a fun place for kids, and that's what matters. There's a beautiful playground right in front of the entrance that looked well maintained. There are also covered tables so you can sit outside and eat or do any other table top activities. They have two large gyms with bleachers on one side. They also had two activity rooms that could be set up to be used for many things such a trainings, baby shower, etc. Each of the rooms has a sink and the bathrooms are right next door. Bathrooms were also well kept. If you live in the neighborhood or need to host an event, I would suggest looking into this location.

You'd think this sort of think no longer exist they way people complain about not having any resources for their kids around summer. The complex has an outdoor pool, and play ground, basketball court and hold all sort of line dance classes, empowerment classes and yes, aqua zumba lessons. They also have volleyball, guitar lessons, and open gym at the basketball court several times a week My class was cancelled due to rain. When I went to pay the $5 drop in fee for the class the receptionist was not aware the class had been cancelled, when no one showed up near the 11am start time, I went back to the desk and the receptionist said the instructor had called and verified the class cancelled in the ten minutes I was there waiting for the class to begin and refunded me the $5. I'm for sure going back since they offer different fitness classes and most of them have a drop in rate of $5-7, some of them even give a discount for seniors citizens. A wonderful business for the neighborhood and great activities for kids.

Respectable, helpful staff. There's a big area to jump, a kids indoor playground, and a few arcades. My only gripe which wasn't even a big deal.. since we didn't follow this direction (insert halo atop my head) is that when we showed up 15 minutes after the hour, 12:15, they gave us the bands that expired on the hour instead of the half hour mark. So by the time we put our shoes away it was 12:20 but they asked everyone with blue bands to leave at 1pm. I played deaf for 15 minutes because if I paid for an hour, I'm getting my hour. Nobody bothered to hurry us out, though, so cool beans. I'd definitely come often if I lived in the area.

While they do have three football fields and a baseball field for the county youth associations to play on, there is so much more! There is a very nice paved path surrounding the main park area great for running, walking, pushing strollers etc. There is a huge playground and picnic area. There is a large indoor gym with basketball, run track, class rooms and conference rooms. And I believe they also have an adjoining disc golf course (at least did at one time) We come here often. Its quiet, easy to get to without much traffic and close to home
