It's in a quiet neighborhood, so you don't hear any traffic or feel like you're even in the city. Most people seem to live close by and walk to the park...but I believe there's street parking near the entrance. My main concern about this park is the same as that of nearby Candler Park -- no public bathrooms. When you're potty training a toddler, it's a serious struggle.

When we arrived we let our kiddo loose on the playground and she had so much fun checking everything out. Next we played the front 9 of the course. The first Tee is down the hill, near the double bridge, not next to the parking lot, which presently is the 4th Tee on the front 9. This course is not stroller friendly. Not having played for at least a year, I was out of practice but I did manage to lead despite Nicole's handicap. I really liked how the course was laid out, and the vegetation isn't so thick that you can't find your disk which landed in a few thick bushes. We concluded our visit with some more time on the playground. All of us were sweaty and ready to head for refreshments. I'd like this place a whole lot more with the splash pad working. Can't wait to come back to play the back 9 of the course too.

My friend and I walked two different paths in 1 hour. In addition to the hiking trails, you also have a grass space with a few picnic tables, perfect for a quiet area to have lunch or meet with a group of friends.   Foot traffic was steady, and there were a few people walking solo however it's not something I would do since it's a forest area and not very crowded.
