So stumbled up on this joint on a humbug. It's a typical Atlanta restaurant/diner set up. You got a full bar, hookah (we know that Atlanta love hookah obviously lol), and mad TVs. The wait staff was actually pretty nice and moved quickly, so that was a plus. Service was okay. I mean, they didn't give me utensils, and I had to ask for napkins, but they were at least nice. Tried the bang bang shrimp and the grilled wings and fries. The shrimp came out within minutes (what it felt like) so I knew that they had been sitting there and not made to order at all. They were okay, would not order them again I don't think. Came with some Thai chili sauce ... But any other time I have ordered bang bang shrimp (at just about any other restaurant), they are tossed in a sauce. These were just regular fried shrimp (and fried jalapenos) with the sauce on the side... which was not what I anticipated. The wings were pretty straight as well, but absolutely nothing to write home about, although they were pretty small for the price they charged. The fries were like $5 but you only got like less than a handful of fries (you can damn near count the fries from the picture which really isn't saying a lot lol). That wasn't worth the price of them at all. That coupled with the wing size didn't leave me with me feeling like I got my money's worth So just to let you know, it says on the menu that any dine in orders get charged an automatic 20% when checking out... Do with that info what you will. I don't think it was worth the price though, ordering a small app with some wings and fries shouldn't have been $45 at the end of the day. Overall if I was in the area I may stop by again (if that was the only option) but there are so many other options that would make this not go to the top of my list. I work within walking distance from here and decided to go over for lunch with a couple coworkers. I had been here before but after work for drinks and we had lots of time. This was the first time I went for lunch. We ordered the fried green tomatoes to start and salads for the entree. Smooth was our server and he was polite, attentive and helped to answer our questions about the menu items. I had the Cobb salad for the entree with grilled chicken. It was very filling and I ate half and brought the other half home. It does take a while, so if you are in a hurry, I wouldn't recommend. read more

A friend and I stopped in for lunch while in the city. I was excited to finally try this restaurant. I have had it on my "to-go list" since it opened, however, it quickly became on of the hot spots to be and I can't do crowds. Ha! Catching it during lunch time was perfect as there wasn't a crowd. Upon walking in, I was greeted at the door by the hostess. She didn't acknowledge my presence at all, she was too busy with her phone. However, moments later, another lady walked up and greeted me and asked how many were in my party. Upon acknowledgment, I followed her to our table. On our way she stopped to get a big sheet of paper and upon arriving at the table, put it down as a "table cloth" of sorts! Babeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee the way I cackled inside. All I could think was, "what in the seafood boil is going on here!" Yet, with COVID-19 still at its peak, I can understand the disposable option. (It was still funny!) Our waitress arrived within minutes and greeted us. She was training that day so we had the pleasure of engaging with one of the new hires as well. Met a group of college friends that were in town this weekend at Restaurant 10. They had been seated and ordered when I arrived. They had ordered cornbread, bang bang shrimp, catfish, wings, turkey ribs, greens, yams, and mac and cheese while sipping on blueberry raspberry lemon drops and vodka martinis. I got to taste some of the wings, shrimp, chicken, turkey ribs, and greens. All were delicious and no complaints whatsoever. I personally ordered the House Burger with fries. Juicy with regular toppings...a doggone good burger. I washed it down with a couple of beers. Good food, with friendly staff. No crazy-a$$ valet parking issues that is plaguing ATL restaurants today. I was here for a work conference and 3 ladies and I decided to venture out for something new. This place was suggested, so we were excited to go. First, the parking in front of the building is VERY limited - we got bullied out of an open spot and had to park across the street (not a big deal). When we got in, we were seated at a dirty table (which they cleaned after we asked). The menu is ok - typical bar food. I ordered the brisket nachos and a side of greens, which were supposed to be cooked with smoked turkey. Restaurant 10 is a 10 out of 10. The absolute best soul food I've had in a very long time. Everything was seasoned, cooked and served perfectly. My server (Bonita) was amazing as well. Even the gentleman working at the door checked if the music was too loud for us. That attentiveness to us the customer and the great food solidified this high rating. This restaurant specializes in very tasty Southern cuisine - candied yams, collard greens, macaroni & cheese, catfish, fried chicken wings, and cornbread. The cornbread had a buttery, honey sauce spread atop it and is always served with every entree. The manager, Sunshine, was very friendly and checked in with me and my daughter at least 3x to see if we needed anything as well as inquired about whether we were enjoying our meal or not. My daughter needed to charge her phone, and Sunshine accommodated her by letting her plug her phone into the wall. T'nia was an awesome server and very gracious in her service to not only my table but also others. Great hospitality and friendly service! The atmosphere had like a chill, relaxed vibe to it, as smooth R&B music played in the background. The food is good! The aesthetic is more of a cross between an diner/sports bar. Food: I had the three veggie plate - greens, Mac and cheese and yams. I'm a country girl so I was excited about all of the side/veggie options! It came with complimentary cornbread. I enjoyed everything, but the cornbread was a little sweet for me. It was sweet cornbread, and then they drizzled honey on top. I'm more of a buttermilk cornbread kind of girl, particularly when I'm eating it with my greens. So the addition of the honey made it a little too sweet for pairing for me. By itself, it's good. If you like sweet cornbread you'll love it. There's a nice variety on the menu, from traditional pub food (wings, tacos, philly, sliders) to soul food (catfish, turkey ribs, etc). I also tried the bread pudding and it was absolutely delicious (and I'm usually not a fan of bread pudding)! The drinks were pretty good as well. Price: Very reasonable. The veggie plate was only $10. The total tab for the veggie plate, bread pudding, cocktail, and glass of wine was only $27. Can't beat that in downtown ATL! Parking: Restaurant Ten has free parking. It's actually a nice size private lot, especially for the area. Atmosphere: Very low key/casual. Reminds me of a cross between a diner and a Waffle House (something about the lighting and seating), but with a full bar and several TVs lining the walls, like a sports bar. Overall: Good food. I made reservations no less than 10 mins prior to my arrival and upon arriving, I was sat immediately. All of the employees were extremely friendly and accommodating. They do have hookah and the food was fairly good. They have several tv's that were playing the basketball games! It wasn't too packed but it stayed consistently busy. Plenty of TVs if you're looking to watch a game. Parking is valet and we came on a Thursday so my friend didn't pay. The place is small so I wouldn't come with a group of more than six. Listen, this is definitely one of my go-to restaurants for me and anyone that comes in town to visit. It's just the convenience and goodness of it. I learned fast that while Atlanta has a plethora of restaurants, they are not created equal in the essence of time. Not only is the food scrumptious but they have hours that cater to those of us looking for a place to sit in after business hours, the sun has set, a late flight and the list goes on! From the time you arrive until the time you leave the service is awesome and you're made to feel like you're the only one there. The staff is just super friendly and courteous. The ambiance is a bonus also. You have the option of sitting in or out even when it's a little chilly, you're covered under the warmth of the heated lamps. Now on to the best part, the food .. talk about delightful, delicious, yummy and all at an affordable price!! For this to be a bar/sports bar restaurant type setting it still offers a dining room space opposite the bar. With that being said the presentation of the food reminds you of a formal dining setting so you briefly forget that there is a bar at all. They also offer hookah, televisions and music that plays over the surround sound throughout the building. I went November 25, 2023. When searching for a restaurant my main focus was the food so I wasn't aware that it was also a hookah spot until I got there. I was kinda wary of staying due to having a 9 month old. But the hostess was very accommodating and took the time to seat us where others weren't smoking hookah. Our waitress was very sweet and the time management was great! She didn't seem agitated nor annoyed when I needed more time due to my husband going back to the car to change our son. Appetizer came out fast, the main entree came at a decent time. It did feel a bit long but I didn't mind at all. Not only that our waitress did keep us updated on when it was coming and along with that there was a lady who I assume was a manager going around seeing how everyone was doing which was great! For my main course I got the 4 wing dinner with yams & Mac. The chicken was well seasoned and tasted amazing. I loved the yams but I'm not much of a cinnamon lover it is more heavy on the cinnamon. But the taste reminds me of French toast. The Mac n Cheese was good as well. The oil from the cheese did give it a weird taste. But once you mix it it's perfectly fine. When it was time to check out the waitress did advise us that the gratuity was already included. I was already aware because it's broadcasted on their website. But I completely understand why she informed us and was very much appreciated of it. The restaurant is "Bar & Grill" plus hookah which isn't displayed in the website. I believe some of the bad reviews are due to lack of common sense when it comes to bar restaurants. It's going to have music, sports and all. I love seeing my people get together and it's just good vibes and good times. I didn't have any first time mommy anxiety while being there or any type of need to feel like a fight might break off. A lot of the customers were even sweet and greeting my son. The establishment was professional and you can tell the image they want to maintain. My review isn't to promote people to bring their kids. This isn't that type of restaurant. The music is loud but I was seated where it was heard less and I do carry my son's noise canceling earphones if needed. Reading is fundamental, there isn't really an excuse to complain about the added gratuity and long wait for your food. You have to scan the QR code to get to the menu. So you do see that the website clear as day states "everything is cooked to order" and "there is a 20% gratuity added to all dine in orders". Some of the low rate reviews are just unnecessary. I would definitely go again next time without my child so that I'm able to have a good turn up time. I came here for my founder's day lunch with some of my sorors. They do have free parking in front of the building but limited. When you walk in the hostess stand is there to place you somewhere to sit if available. We get to the lot and there is a gentleman at the edge of the lot who tells us he can valet the car in the lot of the building, we can pay to self park in the lot of the building, or we can park at the church across the street. Valet is not a set price, but whatever you want to "bless" the lot attendant with. Okay. So we self- park and pay the lot attendant in cash. We enter the restaurant and once inside the music is so loud you can barely hear yourself think. The inside space is not that big, but almost every table had people sitting at them. We asked to be seated outside to which the hostess said, "okay go head." So we walked outside to seat ourselves. She did follow behind us with silverware though. Our server was named Paige and she was so pleasant and sweet. She brought out these cornbread muffins that tasted like cake. We ordered an appetizer sampler of pretzel bites, boom boom shrimp, and fried green tomatoes. We literally had six little pieces of shrimp and a bowl full of fried jalapeños. All of the appetizers tasted amazing and so did the muffins. I ordered the lemon pepper chicken meal with Mac n cheese and candied yams. The only flavor I tasted was in the skin of the chicken. The chicken was not dry, but it was not flavorful. My friend ordered salmon tacos and a Bob Marley to drink. She enjoyed her food and drink. We got the check and used our passbook to have part of the bill credited. Our server did not tell us that there is an automatic 20% gratuity on every check. There were signs posted on the door, but they were on the exit door that no one uses and we entered through the other door. This is not a restaurant I would come back to of my own accord. The prices were okay, the food was okay, the server neglecting to advise us of the automatic gratuity; not okay. Parking in the lot was atrocious. We went on Juneteenth and so as you can imagine it was a bit busy. I went online to reserve a table there were several options to do so , but none of the options could accommodate my party.
